As amazing as the hotel is, the best thing about it is definitely the staff. They were all so so helpful and kind - I had my phone stolen on the street (watch out for this in Brazil!) and they went out of their way to find which tourist police station was open, let me use their phone to make calls and followed up the following days. The accommodation itself is also great - the hotel is modern, rooms are large, comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is one of the best hotel buffets I’ve ever had (coming from someone who’s been to 44 countries). The location is also unbeatable. Definitely my recommended stay in São Paulo: as much as the rooms are great, it’s the staff that made the difference (apologies for not taking note of their names). Thanks for everything and looking forward to staying again sometime soon!

The location was excellent, conveniently situated near the Republica metro station. The room was spacious and included a large bed. Breakfast provided a variety of options, featuring a dedicated vegan section. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, with most speaking fluent English. Wanderlust Bar, located just around the corner, is fantastic for dinner. CAFÉ+BAR on Avenida São Luís is also great for coffee and snacks, and both places are vegan-friendly.

The mattress was firm, and the breakfast room was always very busy. Additionally, I had trouble finding the stairs to go down from the first floor, as the elevators were often quite crowded.

The location was very good, and it was easy to get around by walking or using public transport. The area felt safe, with lovely places to eat close by. The communal breakfast was handy but not as quality as you would imagine. The staff was cheerful and professional, and the high-floor room I was given was great!

The property is outdated and not entirely up to par with modern facilities. The gym is not functional, and the bathroom lacks a hose. The soundproofing was poor, and you could hear the other rooms, especially from the bathroom.

Nice trendy looking boutique hotel and staff was helpful, patient. The breakfast was very good and had so much variety and lots of healthy options. The location of this place is ideal. Near shops, restaurants and cafés. If you feel like walking to Paulista avenue, it's a nice 25 minute walk, very doable if you feel like exploring the streets of this monstrous city! The metro station is a 5-7 minute walk. Awesome for those further options. Also, Uber is not so expensive, I took one to the Mooca district about a 25 minute drive and it cost me 6 Canadian dollars. Very affordable for those late night drinking sessions where you want to get back safely to your room. Such a fun trip, I loved the street art and eclectic vibe of the city. The Sooz really made my trip comfortable.

The only thing I would improve on is the cleaning, I found the floors to be dusty and with hair (not mine). I normally remove my shoes at the entrance and I found lots of dirt stuck to my feet after a few steps around the room. Also, I normally prefer sleeping on a double bed and only realized halfway that I could have merged the twin beds together to accomplish this. This should be done automatically, with bedding set up as such for solo guests.

Big spacious bedroom and bathroom. Absolutely spotless. Very comfortable bed. Central location for us to walk to the city or get Metro. Good breakfast selection. There's an absolutely fabulous restaurant literally around the corner called Wanderlust. Do try it!!! But my special mention must go to fabulous front desk receptionist Paloma, who went above and beyond the call of duty to try to help me get my Kindle back from the previous hotel in Rio de Janeiro, where I had unfortunately left it in the lobby.😕 She made calls and messages on my behalf and I am very grateful to her for her help. She's a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, the previous hotel in Rio were not so accommodating or helpful 😒 and I did not get my Kindle back. A lesson learned for me to mind my belongings!! There wasn't anything we didn't like about the hotel itself. 👍 Just be aware that it's on a busy road in the middle of a huge city, so be prepared for some external noise, which is of course beyond the hotels control. It didn't interfere with our sleep. The only small suggestion we'd make, is providing a regular ordinary toaster in the breakfast room please 🍞🍞👍🙂

The room was well-sized. The AC worked well, and the staff was majorly quite polite and welcoming. Breakfast was quite complete and with many brazilian specialties. We do not live in Brazi but are Brazilian, and we could well remember the great cousine.

Althoug the room was good overall, the insulation leaves A LOT to desire. We could perfectly hear all the noise coming from the streets even though we were on the 9th floor. We could also well hear our next-room neighbours, and we had noisy ones. We had an issue that our room was left unlocked by the cleaning staff two days in a row. We reported it to the reception, who opened a case and since then it did not happen again.

The location is very central although in São Paulo is more of disadvantage than an advantage. The room is simple but spacious. The breakfast is homemade and really good. Although at 6 am the staff is still preparing food, everything is ready around 6:30.

1. I was staying on the 4th floor and the room was extremely noisy … traffic never stops outside so it was almost impossible to sleep. 2. The toilet was very weird and didn’t flush properly. 3. Staff barely speaks English. 4. The towels are very old.

Location and breakfast are great, as is the size of the rooms.

No fault of the hotel, but there was a lot of noise coming from the streets - might even have been a nearby concert. It was difficult getting to sleep, even after a twelve hour flight.

Large bright and modern rooms in central São Paulo. Varied and delicious breakfast buffet. The gym is small but does the job. The hotel was on the Route of Carnaval parades and the large balcony was a great spot to take in the vibes. Loved it! It was my second time staying here and I would happily stay here again. Many cool bars, cafes and restaurants and short walk away and Oxxo convenience store 1 min from the main door.

This area of São Paulo is a little rundown, but coming from London I felt totally safe during my stay. There are many small cafes and bars near by that are young and trendy. This area is improving and will only get better. The pedestrianised shopping centre on the streets across from the hotel has seen better days, full of cheap low priced stores but this looks like any central area of a big city. I mainly avoided this area as it had nothing I needed and it feels a little rough. Time will only make this area better as the huge art deco, mid century buildings are beautiful. Some have huge adverts for coming apartment blocks that will only improve the area.

Sooz hotel is in a good location with easy access to tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping. The train station is within few minutes walking distance and the street is frequent by public transport. Good selection of buffet breakfast which included hot meals, cold meals and vegetarian options. The room was reasonable size and comfortable bed.

Our room is by the road and quite noisy due to traffics and music from the local restaurants / night clubs. One of the lift was broken during our stay which was inconvenient.
