Everything ! When we arrived in Battambang the hotel had organised for someone to pick us up from the bus station. When we arrived to the hotel we were given fresh juice with fresh fruit and we were given some information about what we could do during our stay. When we went up to the room we were told we had a free upgrade to a much bigger room for no extra cost! The room was lovely and even had a photo of us both printed out on the bed (this photo was taken when we first arrived). The bed was the comfiest bed we’ve had since leaving the UK 4 months ago!! Every evening we were given homemade cake to enjoy and when we were leaving we were given more for our journey. We both felt really comfortable staying here and we would highly recommend to anyone!

Narah and her family went above and beyond in every way possible during our stay. We were greeted with a gorgeous welcome platter and tea when we arrived, in the evening when we returned after our day they prepared a beautiful dessert for us, before we left for our day trip gorgeous pastries were provided and beautiful cake on our return. The breakfast was exceptional with fresh fruit from their farm and locally sourced croissants. The best way to describe the bed was like a cloud and the room was immaculate. The pool was immaculate and a great asset for cooling down during our stay! We booked a day tour through the accomodation and our guide January was the absolute best. He taught us so much and took time to explain all of the small things as well as the big. His knowledge of the area and Cambodia really added to our tour. I cannot recommend Muni Residence and Spa enough, we were so upset to leave and we wish we had planned a longer stay! We will definitely be recommending to friends and family and hopefully we will return for a future visit!

If I could take a dozen stars out of the sky and put them here- I would because 10 aint enough. Checking out of this residence felt like being put out of heaven. Little Muni and baby Alexandro, Narah who taught me how to ride a motorbike, uncle's honesty, and all my sister's laughter! The little food surprises 😁I got a free room upgrade (I think they understood my strain after a long train trip). And so - I cannot commend you enough - as very few places I've been to manages to combine effortless kindness and hospitality - with perfect sized rooms (e.g soft beds AND choice of soft/ hard pillows) quitetude with urbanism, and - sustainability without bragging about it - All at a fair price. Worth mentioning they have an organic farm, so the food is delicious, especially the juices- and the saltwater (clorine free) pool is not only good for you, its an imperative and logical (uncle) though for the future, that more hotels should adapt I hope you grow up happy, Muni. I know you will do everything your heart desires, Narah. I enjoyed every second of my stay with you. With much gratitude 🙏 from my heart to yours, thank you.

It has nothing to do with Munis Residence and spa- but the Ibis bus I took back broke down🙄

We spent 3 wonderful days at this homestay with my parents. The family is incredibly kind and caring, always making sure we felt comfortable. The rooms were very clean and cozy, and we slept so well. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the little pastries our hosts offered us every day were such a treat! They also helped us organize our stay: booking a taxi to Siem Reap airport and arranging a fantastic day trip with Khem Ry in his tuk-tuk, who guided us through the local life and beautiful surroundings of Battambang. It was an unforgettable experience that gave us a real insight into Cambodian culture. I can only recommend this homestay 1000 times to anyone visiting Battambang. A huge thank you to the whole family for these wonderful days—we truly hope to come back whenever we get the chance!

Nothing, everything was absolutely perfect, I was sad to leave

Narah and her family are attentive to their guests’ needs and put in thoughtful touches, such as a welcome map of the city with common Khmer greetings/phrases on the back. They check in multiple times throughout the day, such as to offer you homemade desserts, fresh fruit or coconut juice. I had a smooth time using their various optional add-on services, including the same-day laundry service, spa package, tuktuk tour of the city, and breakfast. The bed is comfy, and location wise I appreciate that it is close to the fabulous modern Cambodian art gallery/cafe Romcheik 5, while being a fairly easy walk (or quick tuktuk ride) to the central parts of the city.

We chose to stay at this place because of the wonderful reviews and we were not disappointed . The guest house itself is down a beautiful tree lined street and is very quiet, our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean with a wonderful bed but it is the family that own this place that really makes it special . We were unexpectedly picked up from the bus station by a free tuk tuk arranged by the guest house, a lovely gesture and upon arrival we were treated to delicious snacks and given a map with advice where to eat and places to visit. We were given snacks that evening and the next day when we went out for the day, again a really nice gesture. Nothing is too much trouble for the family. We made good use of the free bikes available. I highly recommend staying at this wonderful place in Battambang, it is truly special, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for looking after us with enthusiasm and kindness, we really appreciated it

From start to finish this was a perfect stay! We arrived in Battambang by bus, and the hotel pre-arranged a tuk tuk to come and collect us to take us to the hotel for free. We were welcomed by the family who were very kind with a platter of local fresh fruit. When we were shown to our room it was spotlessly clean and they even provided us with water, coffee and other snacks in the room. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in our entire backpacking trip – soft comfortable duvet and sheets and 2 big pillows each. The shower was always hot and powerful, and it was very quiet at night time so we slept well. They also helped to do our laundry during our stay with a very fast turnaround. When checking out they also gave us some more local sweets and gifts to say thank you. Beautiful family and we really loved our stay at Muni.

A lovely welcome by the staff here, our bed was beautifully decorated and we were given a welcome drink. The pool was always spotlessly clean and a lovely respite from the heat. The room was comfortable and spotless and the bedding was good and it all looked very new. The whole place is thoughtfully designed and planted and is beautiful. Breakfast was big. A choice of drinks available. They hired a motorbike for us and gave us a few snacks at different times which were great. There were snacks in our room and a jar of sweets. We also appreciated being able to have our water bottles filled without adding to the world's plastic problem. A quiet location but an easy walk to town centre. Highly recommend restaurants The Fringe and Jaan Bai. Everyone here is so lovely, they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great and really look after you. We can highly recommend it and would love to stay again! Thanks to all! Like our new family in Battambang!

Leaving!

I stayed here alone for three nights, and it was a wonderful experience. First of all, the location was great for accessing other major places, and the surrounding area was quiet, allowing me to relax comfortably. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. During my stay, they even brought me homemade desserts and fresh fruit, which made me feel the warmth of Battambang. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the room was very clean. This is truly the best place to stay in Battambang. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality!

Everything was perfect!

The Muni Residence & Spa was exceptional. Narah, Moon and the rest of the Muni family were so lovely during our entire stay. They were always happy to help us out if we had questions about Battambang, give us recommendations about where to eat and help us book tours around the city. The room was beautiful and well equipped. The bathroom was very clean. The swimming pool was the cleanest I have seen in any hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel is located down a quiet street and within walking distance of Battambang centre. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Battambang. I would definitely stay here again
