The breakfast is amazing, rich and nutritious. I really love this breakfast!!! There are cute cats and dogs at the front desk of the hotel. There is a table tennis table and simple fitness equipment.

There was a gecko in the room which would chirp at night, but other than that it was perfect.

Good location, friendly staff, possibility to rent a scooter (no need to leave a passport or deposit), good breakfast, nearby shop, restaurant (scooter), possibility to rent beach equipment, Yaks cafe.

some equipment shows signs of use - needs to be repaired. The area where the cottages/villas are located looks neglected. We had plastic bottle caps and earplugs on the ground near the villa - the area around the accommodation needs cleaning. Weak water flow in the bathroom. Very unstable internet - almost unusable for streaming during peak hours. The fridge is not connected to a separate circuit - when you take the card out, it turns off. The pool at the villa was quite cold (and we don't mind cold water :) - the reason is that the sun doesn't shine into the pool all day and the water doesn't heat up.

Beautiful territory, like a little secret garden :) The room was big enough and very cozy. I loved the quantity of shelves and places to keep stuff like clothes, cosmetics Etc. No need to keep everything in suitcases. I only would add some more clothes hangers in rooms, because there is plenty of space there 😉 Tasty breakfast! Plenty of fruits, fried bananas every morning 🩷 I liked that you can order from menu. The stuff was very helpful in any question. They helped me with all I needed like for example a cup for paints, knife for drawing pencil. That's cute. Yes, the resort is not on the beach, but there are many useful places nearby - stores, restaurants, massages. And only 5 minutes on bike to the beach. Yeah, if you walk it will take 15-20 minutes. But you will need motorbike anyway;) Thank you for the great vacation!

Loved that I was accommodated every morning with non dairy milk as requested, the staff were extremely helpful in making arrangements and my absolute favourite was the cafe attached called Yaks Cafe. It was mind blowing fantastic. From the coffee, to the smoothie bowls, bagels etc., the quality was top notch. I would go back there just for the cafe. Well done!

Would have liked a squeegee to remove water from bathroom area after showering and drying off. Also a broom to sweep up the sand etc. that was present even when we left our shoes outside. As an option, not a requirement.

Beautiful comfortable, spacious and clean room. We stayed in a Deluxe room. Big double bed, TV, fridge freezer, good clothes storage space, lovely ensuite bathroom. Kettle with coffee supplies, air con and a fan. Lovely private patio space in front of the room with table, chairs, clothes airers and mosquito lights repellent. The owners and staff were amazing and we had a lovely surprise when they presented us with a cake for our wedding anniversary, such a thoughtful gesture. We had breakfast included and there was lots of choice. There's a coffee shop on site which sells drinks and snacks. We hired a motorbike from the owners which was easy and quick to organise. It's a very peaceful location but near the main road that runs across the island and there are a few basic local shops and eateries nearby. We also had the pleasure of a family of monkeys waking us up one morning, running across the roof which was incredible. There's also a beautiful beach a kilometre away, stunning white sand and crystal clear water. We loved the place.

Very nice and modern apartment. The room and the garden were very clean and we loved the breakfast. Its located a bit further away from everything but you need a scooter on Koh Kood anyways to get around. The island itself is one of the best we have been to on Thailand - the beaches are definitely comparable to the Philippines.

Be aware that the next apartments (and terraces) are located exactly next to yours. Usually not a problem because most of the travelers on Koh kood are super chill. Unfortunately we had bad luck for the first two nights where a German party group got lost on Koh Kood (instead of Phuket or something). But definitely not the fault of the hotel staff.

First of all we want to thank Dara Homestay for warm welcome and high higiene standarts. The Owners of the place/Staff was fluently talking in english and extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. You can take and eat as much as you like (they make perfect healthy yogurth bowls - you have to try it). Motorbike rent at the same property. Motorbikes was almost new. Room was clean and cleaned everyday. New AC units in every room + fans. A lot of activities for free to take for a beach (snorkling googles, balls, beach rockets with ball, etc.) Smart TV’s with screensharing and Youtube to use for free. 2 new water bottles everyday in the fridge. Overall the best hotel we have stayed in the Thailand. Also staff helped with the trip back to bangkok because our travel agent failed and almost ruined our trip back to Bangkok, but staff dealed profesionally with them and the trip last seconds was saved. We are not saying goodbye, we are saying till the next one!

Everything was perfect

It was our first time visiting Koh Kood.We are really very glad to choose Dara Homestay.It is a new and modern place with great hospitality!Since first moment till last hours our stay was so nice and comfortable in this place!They really take care for theirs guests,we got good recommendations about activities and local restaurants,very tasty breakfast,good location,nice equipped room,friendly atmosphere all day!We would like to stay in this place longer next time!

Wondeful days at Dara Homestay, everything was perfect. Starting from the check-in, when the owner offered a fresh coconut water, continuing on the room, very clean, everything renovated and in good order, bathroom perfectly working. The homestay is very well maintained, interesting the small gym. Breakfast is simply amazing, one hot dish to be selected within the menu, with additional offer of juice and milk, cookies, croissant, waffle and pancake, fresh fruits, tasty coffee from professional machine. Bike rental available, all bikes are new and in good condition, reasonable price. In summary, highly recommended (owners are careful, supportive for all requests).

Suggested improvement: installation of aspirators in bathroom

Everything was AMAZING! The villas were super clean, the facilities were incredible and the ladies cleaned the room everyday and they were always as clean as if they were never used. The breakfast was amazing and you can ask for eggs, or a delicious coconut milk with fruit and granola, freshly made. Staff was super attentive, helpful and made sure to reply to every one of my messages and requests. I truly can say only good things about the entire experience, which was my best hotel experience in my entire life!
