We loved the view of the resort and the bay from our room's outdoor balcony. Our room was in the second (middle) level/row which suited us well for its privacy. We enjoyed the free use of the kayaks, especially around sunset. Buffet breakfasts were good. The Zanzibar beach bar was a great place to lounge at happy hour.

We were initially put into a 2-bedroom family room in the upper level of the resort (as per our reservation). The construction / fittings are pretty basic and old feeling, and there was no outdoor seating. The first night there was a lot of noise from some animal crunching away at the inside of of the wall which disrupted our sleep. The good thing was that when we raised this pest problem with the staff the following morning, they moved us to a better room for the rest of our week-long stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had a great view (and a trek up a hill to go with it mind you). The pool area was lovely and we enjoyed the free kayaking and snorkelling at the hotel. Restaurant food delicious.

The walk to our room could be improved, with some guests expected to walk up a muddy uneven path rather than down the wooden walkway (which was only open to some rooms). We were asked daily if we wanted a room clean, towel and water change. Would have been better to implement a process whereby towels can be left on the floor if a change is needed.

Great friendly stuff very helpfull. Villa was cute and clean.

Breakfast was not tasty. Beach is not the best we went on other. The construction site 50 meters away is awfull they started with noice at 6am.

Our room was beautiful, with the most amazing views across the bay. There was a lovely seating area on the patio, where we spent a lot of time relaxing. We stayed over Christmas and were given a bottle of bubbly as a present. The staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you, especially Kong in the restaurant. A really wonderful experience.

The swimming pool was smaller than I expected. The beach area wasn’t the best on the island, but there were some beautiful beaches nearby. Other than that there was nothing that we didn’t like.

The Resort has super nice beach villas with lots of space to others to create a calm privacy for the stay. The team is very proactive and supportive in all needs. It does not have the large beach as some other resorts but a very nice sea front and the walkability to a sand bank which the sea gives free in the afternoon. The Resort also provides nice amenities such as kayak to the mangroves and waterfalls.

The only thing to dislike was the one fisher boat which has a quite loud engine and passes through early in the morning. Besides that, all great!

Stunning position overlooking a scenic bay with bars and restaurants a few minutes walk. Calm and peaceful, spacious resort with beach side bar, pier, pool. Room spacious and very private. Outdoor shower was cool Would definitely go back.

No main breakfast choice for vegetarians. No safe and the room would have been easy to break into. It's very safe here but being able to lock valuables up is a basic facility. Day to day staff frequently unable to answer basic queries.

Location and the style of the houses were very nice and warm

Lots of ants, lizards and a rat inside the house. Not a surprise being almost in the jungle but the rat is not nice

Beautiful views, comfortable bungalows, peaceful ( mostly). Nice pool and beach bar!

One night there was about 30 Chinese nationals in the restaurant and they were very loud and drunk and disturbed the other guests / spoilt our evening. The staff didn’t seem to ask them to be considerate and should have intervened. They also made a lot of noise at 1am getting to their rooms and banging on gates. The manager did not take control or monitor ( although she was a lovely lady)

The staff was great and very helpful and friendly, the bungalows are located between palm trees and many plants, we have seen many other resorts on Koh Kood and not a better one, there are better beaches on the island but therefore you have also a river around the corner for great kayaking and a motorbike is anyway a must on this island, fresh towels, water…delivered in a few minutes upon request

Pleasant escape away from the city. Booked 5 days at the resort after seeing some good reviews on booking.com, which the resort certainly lived up to. The beach villas have the most amazing sunrise atmosphere about 10m from the sea, staff are extremely friendly, helpful and always seem to smile with a greeting. Inside the villas you are supplied with a good choice of coffees to our delight, pod machine and immersion options, made the mornings ever so delightful - watching the sun come up standing on the grass but the waters edge enjoying the cup of fresh brew. Breakfast is also a 5 star, more great coffee options and really high quality food, especially on the bacon, rare with some of the “good” resorts. Location is also right in the middle of the island, easy access to a wide range of restaurants and activities. Kayaks at sunset are a big hit with everyone at the resort in the beautiful bay. Coming to the island this place should be high on the list of options.
