Perfect hotel, luxurious, huge room with amazing design, they pay attention to the smallest details. Pool in the room. Beautiful beach with coconut trees. Very helpful and friendly staff, always with a smile and a willingness to assist. Very good location.

For improvement: There was a very strange incident as soon as we arrived. We were seated at reception waiting for our key, they served us pineapple and drinks, but as soon as they placed them on the table, they asked us to get up and took us on a tour to show us the resort. When we returned to reception, the drinks and fruit were no longer there. What’s the logic in serving something and then immediately taking it away? They placed us in a somewhat noisy room that was the closest to the restaurant and pool. The breakfast doesn’t really cater to vegetarians and vegans. We paid the same as those who eat meat, so why are we only given basic products like vegetables and fruits?

Our stay at the High Season Pool Villa & Spa on Koh Kood was absolutely perfect. The Deluxe Pool Villa exceeded all our expectations and provided a wonderful retreat for a relaxing holiday. The exceptionally friendly and attentive staff deserves special mention, greeting us with genuine Thai hospitality throughout our entire stay and anticipating our every need with impeccable service. The convenience of being able to rent a scooter directly from the resort was a fantastic addition to our stay. The rental process was quick and hassle-free - exactly what you want while on vacation. This gave us the freedom to explore the beautiful island of Koh Kood at our own pace. The villa itself was spotlessly clean, spaciously designed, and equipped with every comfort you could wish for. For anyone seeking a combination of luxury, privacy, and first-class service in a paradise-like setting, the High Season Pool Villa & Spa is the perfect choice. This is a resort we can recommend without any reservations.

Despite the overall good experience, there were some notable drawbacks: The WiFi was very slow and unreliable with frequent outages. The coffee served at breakfast was disappointing and below 5-star standards. Probably one of the worst I ever had. While luxury pricing is expected, the restaurant and special dining experiences like the romantic dinner were overpriced even for a 5-star resort - especially considering local Thai prices. - Sunbeds weren't padded and had limited umbrellas - Some guests would "reserve" sunbeds early, which wasn't a nice culture - The breakfast area was noisy with coffee/smoothie machines right next to dining - Early yoga class time (7am) with unclear signup process for other activities - TV was difficult to figure out but we didn't need to use it

We loved staying at High Season. The Grande Pool Villa was fantastic, very spacious, clean and the bed was so comfy! The bathroom was huge! Outside was quite private and the pool was just perfect for early morning and late night swims. Overall a brilliant stay. The staff were absolutely amazing. The choice at breakfast was plentiful, it even has a cold room for salads and fruits. We loved the little luxuries like a juice press station and sparkling wine offered, all while looking at the beautiful blue sea and coconut trees. Finally, the beach bar happy hours every night meant we could watch the sunset with a cocktail in hand and our child having fun on the swing. We can’t wait to go back there!

Nothing apart from the fact it would have been nice to have a separate bedroom rather than an open villa. But that wouldn’t stop me from going back!

The beach is lovely but it isn’t the loveliest on the island. The pool is great at low tide when the sea is too shallow. The staff are very convivial and caring. That said there are some rough spots. The bar needs more staff, as we waited an hour for a drink and eventually had to cancel it all together. My husband and the hotel arranged a beautiful cake for my birthday, but it arrived three days before my birthday. Small glitches, but worth mentioning so the hotel can adapt.

Given the cost of the resort, there were high expectations that were perhaps a little unrealistic or unfair. But overall our experience was wonderful - the breakfast, our own private pool, the bath. There are some good local restaurants sort of close by (approx one km away).

don't bother about eating in for dinner, lunch - too $$. Also - on the first day we had to ask for the room to be serviced - which it was and we established a time for that to happen (but still had to ask). The gardens could be more lush with undergrowth. The daily activites are listed - but when we rocked up for one - we had to ask - again staff were very responsive (they rang someone who came to do the activity immediately). But it did feel a bit odd. A guest had a drone which was most intrusive - these should be banned. It was very pricey and while we had a blast I am still not convinced it was worth the cost.

Wow, we loved this place. Location - perfect location for access to any part of ko kood. There are a few restaurants very close to the hotel, and the hotel itself has a good restaurant (although the price is, of course, higher than outside). The breakfast is huge and very diverse. We loved it. The villa - we were in a deluxe villa, and it was wonderful, so many small details were thought of. The only thing that was a bummer is that this room type doesn't have loungers in the room patio - but it wasn't a big deal for us as the room itself has a bunch of places to lounge as well as the common areas. The rain shower and the bathtub were so fun, and I loved the complimentary bath salt and scrub provided. The staff are great and very accommodating, and the hotel grounds are so well tended to, just beautiful and so thoughtful. The hotel can help arrange motorbike rental, which was very convenient for us. The beach and pool are beautiful, there is free kayak and sup to use, and two activities daily. The muay thai class was especially fun!

The TV streamer in the room didn't work well, but we weren't watching TV too much, so it was fine for us. Be aware that during the sunset, the cicada insects make a lot of noise, and it can be intense. It's not the hotel's fault as these insects are native to the tropics.

We had an amazing stay at High Season. The property is breathtaking with a great location right on a very beautiful beach. Staff is very nice and always willing to help. Our villa was lovely, very comfortable and big. Breakfast and food in generally is delicious. We loved the beach bar.

Sometimes there was a long waiting time for food orders at the restaurant on the beach and they didn't bring everything at the same time, which was not ok. No one wants to eat the side dish separately. But the place was so nice that you can forget about this inconvenience.

The food is pretty good, however it is really over priced and portion sizes are very small. An average person would need to order two meals to be full and the cost per meal is about double of what it should be. We mostly ate outside of the resort. There are some great restaurants near by, but you will need to rent and ride a motorbike. Aside from this, everything else was really wonderful.
