We stayed at Cambana D'Angkor Suites for a couple of days during our visit to Siem Reap, and it was truly a memorable experience. Since we were only in the area for two nights, we decided to treat ourselves to a Royal Suite, which cost around £60 per night. This was by far the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive. We were welcomed with a complimentary passionfruit refreshment, and they went out of their way to help us arrange a tuk-tuk ride to Angkor Wat the following day. The driver they provided was lovely, and really enhanced our experience as we explored the temples. The pool area is absolutely stunning, with traditional South East Asian touches that make you feel completely immersed in the culture. As for the room, it was simply breathtaking. The space was enormous, with a bath in the centre filled with rose petals – such a special touch. There was also a second bed hanging from four posts, placed to face the TV. My only minor gripe here was the lack of English TV channels or streaming services like Netflix for international visitors. While this wasn't an issue for us as we didn't have much downtime, it would have been nice to relax and watch something if we'd stayed longer. The bathroom was impressive too, designed to feel like an outdoor shower, which was a unique and refreshing experience. The large wardrobe space was also great for keeping our belongings neat and tidy, and the balcony offered a lovely view. On the day we checked out, we had the chance to use the pool facilities. They provide towels for drying off, and there are large beds by the pool for lounging in comfort. We honestly could have spent days at Cambana D'Angkor Suites, and it was a shame we were only there for two nights. The people of Cambodia are beautiful souls, and the staff at this hotel made our stay even more memorable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

The lobby has direct access to the street, and while the door is left slightly ajar for easy guest access, it does mean that occasional smaller visitors, like lizards and rats, may wander through the open-plan lobby/pool area. While this is typical in South East Asia, it might be off-putting for some – if you're not comfortable with that, I’d recommend considering other options (or not travelling SE Asia).

We were upgraded (due to a room fault) and our room was delightful- presidential suite. Really powerful shower Super comfy bed and nice bedding etc, room cleaned well during stay Good aircon and fridge Good WiFi Beautiful little courtyard and comfy day beds which always had space on, nice pool and feels like a little oasis Great base to explore Angkor wat Breakfast at the hotel was good Staff were very friendly and smiley and helpful

Bathroom sliding door was quite sticky and difficult to move Baths are cool but made of stone so very cold to lie on and had to use kettle to get enough hot water to have a bath Breakfast pack provided for our sunrise tour by hotel was poor! Just bread and an apple! Breakfast was included in our room rate so this felt like a bit of a shame Walk to town was about 20-30 mins - this was fine for us but be aware Not really any sun by the pool at this time of year which was a shame They keep the big wooden door open to the courtyard from the road which makes it less tranquil inside

Everything in general was very good. The location suited our needs with a well appointed supermarket just across the road, bank next door and plenty of local food places close by. A nice part of the city a distance of about 2kms from the bustling area near the Old Market, excellent if you want to keep away from the tourist crowded areas. The staff were very good and helpful. The small number of rooms makes for a very quiet common area.

the location is very convenient! you can easily get to Angkor Wat, and also to visit Elephant Sanctuary (or other Sanctuaries). also big supermarket is close. City center is not far also. Room was clean, very authentic. Stuff was nice and friendly, they fixed the water pressure problem fast. Also thank you for very early check-in🙏🏻

The breakfast is not included in price ( I had a presidential suit). Sometimes electricity was off, also hotel still has problems with water pressure. Hard to get hot water to full the bathtub.

Service was excellent, the staff were all very helpful. They let us shower and store our bags long after we’d checked out. Well needed after a long and hot day exploring Ankor Wat. The rooms are also beautiful.

Could have been a bit cleaner and lot of construction works started outside the window at 7am meaning it was impossible to sleep.

The staff was excellent—very friendly and helpful. The location was great, just a 10-15 minute walk to the night market and about a 20-minute Tuk Tuk ride to Angkor Wat.

There were too many mosquitoes! Don’t forget to bring mosquito repellent when traveling in Cambodia. The mosquitoes are large and everywhere.

The room is very nice and comfortable, just 10 minutes away from the night market by tuk-tuk.

A downside was that I checked in quite late, and they gave me a room without a balcony, even though I had reserved one. They didn’t offer any compensation, but they did change my room on the second day.

had the presidential suite after receiving an upgrade, was amazing spacious clean great shower, staff are very friendly an cater to any bookings or queries, breakfast is good, 4-5mins tuk tuk to town, a great place to stay.

Staff could not have been more friendly. Rooms were amazing. The pool was lovely. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend. It is not close to Pub Street though if you want to be very central but it was only a $1 and 10 minute tuktuk drive away.
