I had an amazing stay at Banff International Hostel! The atmosphere was super friendly and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt right at home. They served breakfast as well which was really good for the price i paid, The location is perfect just a short walk to all the main attractions in Banff, with breathtaking mountain views all around. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with plenty of communal spaces to relax and meet other travelers. I especially loved the cozy common areas and the kitchen, which made it easy to prepare meals. The dorms are spacious and quiet, providing a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, this hostel offers fantastic value for money and is a great base for your Banff adventure. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Good Hostel with super friendly staff and unbeatable prices, The Location is perfect! Close to Everything you need like grocery store 5 min walk bust stop just front of the hostel, restaurants and bars few minutes walk, highly recommend for a budget friendly comfortable stay.

Rooms were super clean and our bed was super comfortable, price are better than most of the hostel in town, location is very close to downtown, every restaurant and shops just near by. Staffs are polite and welcoming. We will definitely visit again.

Enjoyed my stay, quiet 6 bed female dorm, no party hostel, could sleep excellent. A lot of stairs if you carry luggage but it‘s worth the price- Banff is really expensive, hostel is the smart choice. Breakfast is rather simple, cereals, toast, some tiny pastry’s, tea, coffee, syrup/juice… fruit would be nice…but it’s free, if you prefer healthy or have issues (lactose, …) I would advice to just grab a tea and choose one of the many breakfast options on the way to the centre. Also small grocery store near and bigger one in the centre if Banff (food can be stored in the hostel+) If you take the shuttle bus from Calgary : it arrives at Red Carpet Inn, just 5-10 min walk, very convenient. All other local busses have station nearby, 10min walk to central bus stop (all busses you need for daytrips) Bathroom in dorm was excellent

I enjoyed the extra-2bed upper floor area in dorm (more stairs though) - but that might not be everybody’s preference, you might wanna ask about that when you arrive. The regular bunks could use some curtains for privacy. Breakfast options could improve a tad 😉

It was my first time staying at a hostel and to be honest at first I had my doubts, but I had a great time there I stayed in a room with 4 bunk beds and private bathroom, as soon as I arrived the guy in the front desk he explained me everything I should know about Banff and which busses I needed to take to get to the places that I wanted to go. If you are looking for a fancy place or a great breakfast this might not be your place. I was very happy with coffee and pancakes, the location is PERFECT pretty much everything is walking distance. I would definitely stay with them again.

Fantastic location in the centre of Banff. Comfortable accommodation - I was in a spacious 4 bed mixed dorm with ensuite. Facilities in the room included a fridge, and USB, power, reading light and curtains for each bunk. Well equipped kitchen and free breakfast. Whole place was spotlessly clean. Staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful (particularly when I sent my phone down to the laundry rolled up in my bedding😬)

Rooms were a little dark and hot but fans were provided.

The hostel is centrally located in downtown Banff and offers free parking options in front of the house. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is clean, comfy bed with bedding and curtains for privacy in shared dorms. The dorm that I stayed in had an own bathroom and shower, which was super practical. The common area downstairs was great for watching tv, playing games, chatting with other guests or working. There's a huge kitchen with everything you need in the underground floor. Everything was super convenient! I enjoyed my stay and will gladly come again :)

It was rather loud in the room because there were 3 fans running all night long for ventilation.

They have amazing staffs and their room is very clean and quite comfortable.and of course the locker service which saved me for the 2nd time after 4years. We stayed in 2021 there and decided to stay there again in 2025 because i love their storage service.

The room temperature was quite high. The ac wasn’t working. There was a fan which wasnot enough for 6 people. As a result both of my sisters had dry nose and had nose bleeding the next day
