The location was great, could take a walk to the downtown area where there were restaurants and shops. The place was not big but cozied and comfortable. There was a car parking provided behind the building which could fit my Audi Q7. The reception staffs were nice and helpful (you have to go check-in at Irwin's Mountain Inn which is the next building to the right). Although no breakfast provided here, you can find something to eat in the town or from the supermarket - IGA Banff (in a walking distance). For transportation, there were bus routes (I mostly took no.1). The bus stop was not far from the place. We stayed there for 3 nights and enjoy our stay.

The heater in my mother's room was having a loud noise. However, we went out all day everyday so we did not have time to inform the place. Maybe please go have a check.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the room had lots of space. The room in general was amazing. No problems. The view from the balcony was wonderful, and I could see plenty of mountains. The showers were clean, running water. The hotel was good, the staff were professional. The distance from the hotel to downtown and other stores and restaurants was amazing. The parking was convenient, and there was lots of space.

I sent an email to the hotel regarding our booking inquiry, and the hotel took a month to respond. Overall, the time for the hotel to respond to our booking inquiry was unexpectedly long.

The room was to the back and very quiet especially in the middle of the week - we could hear other people in the hallway during the weekend, but the room was still quiet to sleep in so it didn't get noisy. There was a lot of room in the underground parkade, which a lot of guests didn't seem to know about. The staff were very friendly, the maintenance guy had to come in a couple of times and was helpful and nice to talk to.

The bed had a groove in it that I kept falling into - the bed needs a new mattress, but it was still a pretty good sleep.

Room was roomy and had enough space for 2 adults comfortably. The hotel was easy to find and had a variety of parking opportunities provided by the hotel. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

Would have been nice to know that check in is at the neighboring hotel (Irwin's hotel) prior to arriving at our hotel as it was confusing to walk around the ground level until passing by a staff member to find out that the check in was next door. Would also be nice to have shelves in the bathroom as limited counter space and areas to place extra towels or toiletries.

Walking distance to downtown. Most other visitors in the hotel or our floor were quiet and respectful. Somewhat newly renovated suite interior. Shampoo/conditioners/body wash on wall mounted dispenser. Does have good TV and microwave/fridge in suite. Hot water kettle available upon request.

Windows were absolutely paper thin. We could heard everything from buses coming and going to people's conversation as they walk pass the hotel one street level just in front. Elevator does not go down to underground parking level. Not a lot plug ins available.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Very nice and clean facility, centrally located, on the main strip of Banff. You can walk to all stores, coffee shops, museums and restaurants of this beautiful little town. The room was very spacious and tidy. Daily room service who puts everything back into place. We loved the hot tub / mini swimming pool which was a great plus.

The mattresses, in our room, could use some improvement for side sleepers like us. More appropriate for people who sleep on their back. The parking lot could get easily cramped

Location was very good, reception staff were excellent incredibly helpful with tours and directions printed off bus schedules. Just went over and above really. Best service we have received in 7 weeks of travel. There was a microwave and kettle in room which allowed you to be a little home like for meals. Didn’t have to eat out all the time

Property is a little dated,

All the staff were friendly not just the desk staff but also the housekeepers being helpful and friendly. Staff were also nice about letting us check in at awkward times upon asking about it, the hot tub was lovely with beautiful Mountain View’s if your staying here I would definitely recommend you using it. Me and my partner also used the gym in the hotel next door with no extra charge it was a basic gym but had what we needed for a light session. Many people that come to Banff are looking for luxury but as a young adult on a budget in chose to go here however I was very impressed with the value for money we got the king room and it was huge.

The red carpet inn doesn’t have a check in desk you have to check in next door however this really isn’t a big deal as it’s a couple metres walk outside

The location was great, The beds were comfortable, the room we stayed in was Renovated and the rooms were clean.

The Hot tub hours ended too early and the there was not enough parking for a regular size Truck. They should be enforcing that anything smaller than a truck park in their underground parking. . There were no closets so I would also suggest more hooks for hanging coats, ski pants and any other kind of items that need dry or air out prior to the next day.

The hotel is in a great location, a short walk down to the shops etc without being so close that it's noisy. I'm not sure why people are saying the rooms are small or dated, ours was huge and even had a balcony which was excellent. Hot tub looked great but we didn't use it. Staff were friendly.

The only two things we didn't like were the lack of hanging space in the room. It had two coat hooks but nowhere to hang coathangers etc and not much space in the bathroom. Also the train noises through the night, but this isn't the hotel's fault and they were so loud we could hear them up Sulphur Mountain too.
