Really loved having a full kitchen (studio apartment). Saved some money on not having to eat out all the time. Room was spacious. They thought of EVERYTHING to make this a comfortable stay. They provide shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, dishwashing tabs, firewood, coffee...Loved having a real fireplace! Added bonus is that the ROAM shuttle stops right out front and the front desk provides you with a free pass which will save you a ton vs parking in downtown Banff. Very friendly front desk staff. Great location- make sure to explore the viewpoints nearby on Tunnel Mountain Rd.

The studio apartments are very nicely appointed inside but have confusing access. On arrival, I basically had to park up a hill and then drag my stuff down the bend and then drag it up two small sets of stairs to this narrow hallway. So please be aware if you have mobility issues or strollers. If I stayed there again I'd pick a different room type. My room patio faced the street, so not much privacy from the living room. The bed was placed right by the door, the door had gaps and the corridor was noisy with people coming and going. Wish I had packed sleeping pills and ear plugs.

The loft style rooms were so cozy! Bed very comfortable and bathrooms were equipped with nice products from Rocky Mountain Soap co. The location was great because it was just outside downtown, away from the busy tourist area. It was so peaceful sitting on the balcony. The hotel provided guest with a free bus pass so getting in and out of downtown Banff was a breeze. Downtown is very accessible. Even a cab was only 14$. We liked how we were able to park right in front of our room making travelling with my two senior family members easier. The kitchenette was a great feature fully equipped so we saved a lot of money making some of our own meals. Would definitely recommend this resort and stay again.

Honestly, no complaints after our 5 day summer stay. We were worried about no air conditioning (very common in western Canada). But the windows opened and the hotel had nice tower fans in the bedrooms so we slept great. The mountains get cool at night.

Mountain chalet was great--clean, spacious, and great location.

Parking was little tight...no reserved parking so sometimes we were forced to park further away from our chalet which normally would be ok but not great when snowing. Also the property is missing a coffee bar or cafe. We had to go across to Prow for food.

The location was great, the room was really clean and overall, the room has a cosy vibe during a cold day. The room and beds were large and we enjoyed our stay.

Comfy beds, lots of cookware, liked the fireplace. Friendly staff!

Pool was a little cold even though it was supposed to be heated.

When we initially checked in and found that our room was essentially in the "basement" with no view and basement-style windows, I was annoyed. No other rooms were available and staff offered me a no-penalty cancellation option. We decided to stay and honestly, it was great. Sure, no view, but the room was so nice and dark that we slept incredibly well! The room itself was clean, the bathroom was spacious, beds and bedding comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Laundry was great, fitness center was just fine. Loved the free bus into town and also up to Sulphur Mountain - much better than driving and trying to find parking. Lots of nice hikes nearby and a 15-minute walk into the Uptown (not Downtown) if you ask where the "secret" stairs are along Tunnel Mountain road. Be sure to take the 30-minute "hike" to the hoodoos!

Would have been nice to have a view.

Excellent front desk staff! Very clean throughout the resort. My room seemed recently renovated. Bus stop right out front...free bus pass included with room. Comfy beds, plenty of pillows, rather lofty and firm. Herd of female Elk and their babies just up Tunnel Mt Rd( to left as you leave resort) seen often.

Laundry facility has 2 washers and 2 dryers. One set was out of order, other seemed always in use. Front desk staff recommended the laundry on the lower level of the Cascade Shops. I parked in the free lot, kitty corner and back 1 block from the shops. Free for 3 hrs. Used that lot 3 times, always found a spot. Great laundry!

It was a nice apartment, big enough to accommodate five people without any stress. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable. We received a bus ticket to use to get to downtown. At the back of the property is just nature, which is really nice, we saw bunch of animals. The soap was from Rocky Mountain and really good.

It's a little bit far from downtown to walk, but we got a bus ticket for the entire stay, so just keep that in mind. Super close and easy to use the transit. I thought it was much more enjoyable using the transit. The apartment was smelling of curry when we got there, I guess it was just impregnated

Excellent spacious room with a balcony n beautiful view of tunnel mountain. There was a kitchenette as well which was handy. I had booked a superior suite. It was on level one. Did not use the swimming pool and the Gym. Reception staff were very helpful and lent us the bear spray for our hikes. The surroundings are beautiful with good walks. Saw a baby deer. WalkabilityBanff town is about a 20 min walk. But we were given free bus passes to town which only took 5 to 10 min

The electric hob was temperamental with overheating and cut off after 20 min of use. Had to wait for it to cool down.
