We have stayed at other Holiday Inns before and it really is our hotel of choice and one of the reasons is because the included breakfast is always a treat; our kids enjoy it. The gym was nice and the pool was good although a bit small. Onsite laundry was very useful and thankfully I did not have to wait as there was only one washer and one dryer.

Although the room was comfortable and neat, I felt it was not as clean as it should be. I found hair and dirt gathered on the floor of the bathroom from a previous guest, I am sure the carpet was not vacuumed at all as I found crumbs as well as a lone shoe by the bed from a previous guest, and there was a towel on top of the shower head. I thought it would be better after the daily housekeeping, unfortunately it was not.

Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, breakfast (especially the pancakes) was great. We were able to get a table quickly even though we arrived for breakfast around 8am. Nice shower with Dove soap/shampoo.

Had to go downstairs to the check-in counter to ask for more towels (we had 2 towels, but 4 people), only 1 staff members was available for check-in so it took a while, only 1 elevator so we had to use the stairs as the wait was getting long.

I stayed in IHG hotels before, I like that they have comfortable rooms including a microwave, fridge, and a drip coffee machine (although I would prefer the Nescafe or any other capsule espresso machine). Breakfast included eggs, sausages, baked beans, cinnamon rolls, yogurts, orange/berry juices. So I would say breakfast is good and you don't need to spend time looking for a cafe. I like they have a pool - it is nice to spend some time after long hikes. The location is a bit far from Victoria center, it takes about 20 min by car to get there. For us it was ok, we like researching different districts of cities, not only downtown. Btw, the Hatley Castle is nearby - I recommend visiting it as a hike from the hotel. There is also a park around the castle. But I also strongly recommend visiting the Butchart gardens.

All usb sockets did not work. I would like to see a bathtub in the pool. Ice machines are not on every floor, but you can still find them.

it was very nice 👍🏻 . The bed is comfy, and the bathroom is clean . Meet everything I need . I will give 4.9 of 5 . The 0.1 is because of the noise coming from upstairs, I can even hear the guests moving upstairs. The breakfast is great , the staff is awesome 👌, hardworking, and welcome 🙏.

The location was close to alot of amenities. Fast food and grocery store, etc

The pool was small and there were very few towels available at the pool. However when going to the desk to ask, the attendant was courteous and gave us regular towels.

Stores close by, for eating, banking, shopping and purchase of food. Easy access to main highway and facilities. Good breakfast.

Outside noise, low lighting and not enough lighting and room rugs look old and worn.

Good location , clean and has access to so many nearby stores and restaurants.

Sound proof is poor, could not sleep well as occupants above my room were extremely noisy they had little kids who were constantly skipping, jumping and playing ball.

It was very clean, staff was great. Was so nice to have breakfast and a 24 hour coffee station.

Only thing we wish it had was a better pool area. There was no hot tub and the pool was small and when a few families are in it, it’s really loud as it is such a small space.

Really good breakfast. Not a ton of plant based options but really good for dairy and meat eaters!

We were happy. We filtered for pools and the pool was getting renod so that was a little disappointing but the value was to much it did not effect the quality of our stay.

Clean, quiet, spacious room. Convenient location for walking and food and drinks.

A little too busy at breakfast. The entrance door issue with street people which of course is no fault of the hotel.
