View was good, it was a corner room with a wrap around balcony with sliding glass doors to either side of the balcony. The view was partial to the harbour and surrounding neighbourhood. Location was excellent as it was close to everything. Air conditioning was great. Nice to have amenities in the room such as a microwave and kettle etc. Parkade was good, large enough so that you were able to easily find a space. The bathroom was large and had a Toto toilet which was great. There was also a large separate sink to rinse bathing suits in or do hand laundry in. Good flip flops provided to going to the pool. The pool area was nice and the women's locker room was clean. I like that the pool and exercise area opens at 6am.

This room had a connecting door to the next room. There is no sound proofing between the 2 doors so I was able to hear the use of the microwave, cutlery being placed on the counter, walking around and conversations. Every word. The massage chair is operated by a remote. The only problem is, if the person in the next room is pointing their remote towards your chair, your chair will recline. This was resolved by turning the power off to my chair.

It was a nicely renovated property. The rooms were very nice with modern finishes. My kids got a kick out of the bidet. They have a fantastic shuttle service they offer to and from downtown for free. The driver Reid was fantastic and helpful. I suggest tipping of course- it is a service. We used it often when our kids were tired from walking as we had already rented bikes for 3 days and our kids didn’t want to bike anymore. It was also great to get to and from dinner instead of getting an Uber or Lift. The pool is heated and is both indoors and out. There is a nice area by the pool to sit and see the marina. We took the pathway upstairs along the marina - there is a large chess set my kids enjoyed & the gardens are beautiful in the summer. We were there in late July. There is a little Fisherman’s Wharf nearby with restaurants for more food options. It was a couple minute walk. It was less expensive than the hotel food and there are cute floating homes. There is also ice cream.

Nothing really. It’s a pretty great place for a family or just a getaway if I were to go back with my husband.

Given that a strike was going on, I must say that the employees who stepped into the vacant roles were wonderful. The accountant who checked us in was incredible and tired! I look forward to when both elevators are working that would certainly help with wait times. And I missed being able to eat the delicious food that your restaurant is known for. It is too bad that it was closed during out stay.

Fabulous view over the harbor! Bathroom toilets were high-tech and wonderful. Others have mentioned noise issues from the float planes--the planes are there but they are only active during the day and do not impact sleeping at all. Staff was friendly, drinks were nice.

One of the two elevators was down for repair, not a big issue, but at prime time in the lobby, it got a bit backed up. Additionally, the trash can in the lobby was overflowing both of the days we were there. It is literally across the room from the reception desk so it should not be a problem to see that it needs attention. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but the food was great.

Although the elevator was not operating to open at the 7th floor, the staff happily helped us by taking our items through the service elevator. We did walk the stairs at least one flight when arriving and leaving during our stay. The elevators and floors were confusing, especially when trying to go out to the parking structure. However, the safe beautiful location beside the water with lovely night lights on beautiful historical places was romantic and scenic. Very relaxing and peaceful with a clean, water view room! Proximity to Ferry close to go to US.

Location, shuttle, swimming pool, room, heated toilet seat. The driver of the shuttle was very nice. He gives us some good information.

The description of the room on booking.com is misleading. It was named a coast room, so i expected a room with sea view There was no simple breakfast like a bagel with cheese and a coffee and fresh orange juice. We had to go to the neighbors. There was no simple lunch like fish and chips or salad when you have a pool day and don’t like to go outside. Some tiles in the hot pool were broken. Pool towels are very short and ineffective. We used 4 towels, and so does everybody. Pool showers did not work. One of the elevators was broken.

Lovely location! The staff were courteous and helpful. Our room had a terrific view of the marina and surrounding area. We were able to walk everywhere and also had the choice of a shuttle to take us downtown if we needed.

The beds were not very comfortable for us. I am relatively short and climbing in and out of the tub was a chore. Thankfully there were safety bars. My husband who is a foot taller had no issues. We really wish there was a shuttle available from the airport.

This hotel is nicely located on the water, next to fisherman's wharf, walking path out back.The bed was very comfortable. We had a king room which was spacious. Staff are eager to help you. Bathroom is nicely amenities and spacious. Large chairs to rest in. This hotel offers free shuttle and gives umbrellas to guests to use during their stay.

The restaurant food was disappointing. Plate size small and service was not so good. I had reservations several months in advance but they still sat the two of us next to a very rowdy 8 person table. We could not even hear each other speak. The manager completely ignored us while he doted on the larger table. It was ridiculous. We were barely noticed and had significant wait for anything from the waitress. I would suggest you dine elsewhere. Rooms are expensively priced so not always affordable.

The hotel location was superb, on the waterfront in a quiet area, near to the Fisherman's Wharf but also within walking distance of downtown. The facilities were first class and the staff were unfailingly charming and helpful. We ate in their Blue Crab restaurant and found the food and presentation to be very good. On the basis of this experience we would definitely stay in this hotel or other Coast hotels again. I believe that they are owned by Japanese management and it shows in their attention to detail and service.

The only thing that we could fault was a lack of towel rails in the bathroom.

This hotel is excellent, located just 10mins walk from Victoria center. The outdoor/indoor pool is great. Bedroom has lots of extra's and the beds are so comfotable. Our bedroom looked onto the ocean, plenty to see with the boats and sea planes coming and going. Visit Fishermans Wharf, just 2 mins walk, for some delicious food and see all the house boats. Every staff member we met was friendly, helpful and professional. Views from the hotel are amazing.
