The location overlooking the city harbour is spot on. The property is located perfectly for easy walking access to the harbourside, fisherman's wharf and city centre. If you like an easy picturesque walk, leave the property via the dining area, cross the road then turn left and follow the trail to fisherman's wharf. Although there is a restaurant in the property, if you like seafood in quiet surroundings go to the harbour house restaurant just around the corner from the Days inn. The city has so much to offer for the visitor, but if you want a challenge, go to the information centre on the harbour and ask for a hands of time map. It's very clever, but the location clues are not necessarily 100% accurate

The property declared that air conditioning is not available, but fans are readily available if needed. With temperatures in the high 20's, a fan was definitely needed. We tried opening the window to assist with ventilation, but the street noise was too much

The location was brilliant for visiting the harbour, town and Fishermen's wharf. We were on the top floor with a harbour view and enjoyed watching the boats and planes coming and going. There was a nice small outdoor pool at the back and a bar and restaurant at the front. Free parking was available in a good sized car park. Staff were all helpful.

The hotel is basic and the decor is tired but the view and location compensated for this. The bathroom was up a step in the bedroom and was very small. For a reasonable price you are getting some great facilities but the whole place needs updating

We had a corner harbour view room which was great for both air flow through windows and watching the goings-on on the harbour and area. Room was quite nice for an older hotel with good amenities. Bed comfortable, bathroom acceptable. Free parking. Restaurant and bar with patios on site. We ate at restaurant three times and food was good, and restaurant staff very attentive. Would recommend this hotel. Good rates.

One window needed replacing as thermal seal was broken. The elevator needed servicing as there was a big thunk when it reached the requested floor. Room had an adjoining door to next room so when people were getting together with other parties it was noisy.

The room with kitchenette is very nice and comfortable. There are a frying pan, 2 pots, 2 glasses, 4 plates, cutting board, spoons, forks, knives, spatula, dishwashing liquid and kitchen towels. It was enough to make an easy breakfast or to reheat a meal. A dishwashing sponge was absent, but it wasn’t a problem for us, as we had one. The bad is nice and there is a lot of space in the room. The room doesn’t have an AC, but it’s so windy outside that AC is not needed.

The elevator is pretty noisy

The close location to the inner harbour. I had a harbour view room which was well worth the extra money. I could stop and use my bathroom or relax during the day very easily. It also offered free parking. I could not hear sound from other rooms which was a huge plus.

It is an older property. The elevator is extremely small & slow. The room / bathroom is small. I had some trouble with the electrical working in my room the first night. The bed was quite soft and there wasn’t a comfortable chair in the room for relaxing. I ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant the morning I left. The service not subpar and the food did not sit well.

THe location was perfect. We had a gorgeous view of the Harbor and were in walking distnance to practically everywhere. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, the room was clean and looked like it had been painted recently. Even the bed was comfortable for me.

Nothing, really. If I had expected a luxurious hotel, I would have been disappointed. For example, the hallway carpet was worn, it's an older building. But I didn't expect luxury and I thought it was great.

Loved that they put me right beside the pool. Enjoyed the pool, nice and clean and clear, good temp and it was a beautiful day. Really like the surface parking, been to a few places recently with UG parking that did not fit a standard F-150. Was nice to just grab my stuff and walk short distance to my room.

The building and suites are a little tired, but everything was adequate and clean. Might be time for a reno, but the price reflects what you get and really is a great price considering location.

The room was recently updated, very clean, and quiet. The bedding was excellent. There was a night light in the bathroom. There was a comfortable chair, a table, and coffee/tea was available. The TV worked very well.

The smell of old frying fat on the main floor was very noticeable. The hotel needs to balance the air flow on the main floor to exit the air from the kitchen out of doors and not near any air entry. I did not smell the odour in the room on the second floor.

The hotel is close to the harbor, and the bus goes to Vancouver. The staff informed us that the hotel room did not have air conditioning, but it had a fan, which we accepted.

We have asked for a quiet room, and we have been have given a room on the top floor. This room does not have air conditioning, which means we need to have open windows due to a hot night. As a result of the noise on the street and the restaurant at the hotel that ends at 2 am, it was difficult to sleep before that, and I will recommend having ear-propper. Breakfast is not included in the hotel fee.

I liked the harbour view from the window, also the sun does not directly shine into the room all day, if it is warm outside you can open a window and place the fan in front to keep the room cool.

The step up to the bathroom was a bit strange and the size of the bathroom was very small. Our stay was in May we had the window open you could hear people chatting outside on the patio from the restaurant directly below. Our room was directly across from a large Ferry that comes and goes from Seattle every day also the Seaplanes you could hear the engines.
