Cindy and Brent were such excellent hosts. Although my partner and I only stayed for one night, we really wished we had more time to stay longer. The accommodation was extremely beautiful, spacious, and clean. The backyard is connected to a river and had a deck where you could go out and relax or you could opt for the hot jacuzzi with towels provided! The bedroom was extremely cozy as well. I have nothing but great things to say about this place as well as Cindy and Brent being extremely kind and gracious.

This is my second time staying here and hope to do so many times in the future. It is located in an idyllic location on a quiet lake where no neighbours can be seen. The hosts, Cindy and Brent are kind, gentle, trusting and helpful. You are welcomed as one of the family. The accommodation is everything you could wish for! A large bedroom with a large desk and very comfortable bed. The main living area is large enough to house a pool table. It has a well appointed kitchen with everything you could possible need. There is even another bed tucked under the stairs. The state of cleanliness is impeccable. Despite having chemical sensitivities I was completely comfortable here. There is even a hot tube to be used on the deck facing the lake.

Nothing except that I couldn't stay longer. A perfect place to unwind after a long trip.

Brent and Cindy were very personable and easy and nice to talk to. It was like we had known them for years. The esthetics of the facility were beautiful and amazing and felt cozy and inviting. Definitely plan to return, it was a nice getaway with it being right off of the river. We can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer and fall. We felt very much at home and we’re very impressed.

Our stay wasn’t long enough.

We had a huge suite (bed, bath, kitchen, living room, and dining area, with a wonderful view of the lake. There's a hot tub for those who want to use it. The property slopes down to the lake and there is a deck and dock to sit on (or launch from!).

We love Strong Timbers! Cindy and Brent are marvelous hosts, the property is on the water, immaculately kept, easy to get to, totally quiet, and offers a real breakfast. It’s our new go-to for the long journey between Boston and Nova Scotia.

Everything everything everything. We travel a fair amount, and this was hands down among the top 5 places we have stayed. Super comfy bed (best ever), great breakfast, beautiful location, incredible price, an entire apartment overlooking the beautiful river. Perfect host and hostess with the sweetest dog! There is NOTHING I would change.

Amazing location and exceptionally beautiful house! Romantic view, hot tub, pool table, homemade food for breakfast. My husband and I had a great escape for the weekend ☺️

Everything was perfect. The only thing I would improve is the Queen's bed change to king size, I'm just used to more space)))

Beautiful location with lake views, extraordinary design and incredible hospitality. Brent and Cindy were lovely hosts who went out of their way to welcome us into their BnB. Delicious homemade cakes and waffles and well appointed accommodation with lots of space and ambience made this stay very special.

This was an unbelievable stay. Brett and Cindy are just outstanding hosts. Within half an hour we felt we were staying with some old friends We hadn’t seen for a long time. The only way this stay could have been improved was by staying longer ( we had only booked an overnight stopover) . Their house is an a beautiful area

This is a beautiful property hosted by a lovely couple sharing access to their home. It was a welcome stop for us on a long road trip and we wish we had more time to enjoy the beauty and hospitality of of our host’s home.
