Location was great. Staff friendly.

Bed was too soft, pillows too thick. This may have been great for most people, just not for us.

The pictures on the website don't accurately depict how close you are to the water. The motel is in two sections - one inland part with several rooms and a separate cottage, and the one we had which was across the street and had 2/3 studio type rooms. Everything was exceptionally clean and attractive. The bathroom was quite large with a great shower. The deck was just right and it was very quiet. The only thing we struggled with were the beds which were a bit lumpy. But we will be back ! We really enjoyed our stay.

Like I said - the mattresses could use an upgrade. And they need to put the smoke detector back up. Otherwise . . . .

Staff (friendly, informative and helpful), pet friendly accommodation, spotless updated rooms, outdoor seating, access to beach, plus grills and bikes available for use are all things to like about Friar's Bay Inn and Cottages. And the sunsets were amazing! Defintiely a good value for the money, and a very pleasant place to stay. Perfect spot from which to explore everything Campobello Island has to offer.

Wifi is available at Friar's Bay Inn, but room Wifi didn't work for us. Staff tried to help, but couldn't get it to work while we were there. Given our short stay, not a problem for us.

Charming bright updated rooms with a great cottage vibe. Fantastic views of Friars Bay from your window or Adirondack chair. Saw a bald eagle on the beach out front. Comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff. Cozy, but well planned use of space gives everything you need without losing the airy feel. Location very close to Roosevelt Cottage, restaurant, sea. Loved our time there and would definitely come back.

Wifi could use a boost -- to send those great photos home.

The view was great. We even saw seals at the beach. The bed was comfortable. The feel was a throwback to 60 years ago, but with modern upgrades like coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The staff was great.

There was not a comfortable place to sit. It was raining when we arrived, and there was no mat to wipe our shoes, so when we took them off at the door, we left puddles and dirt on the floor.

The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchenette was handy and the staff were very pleasant. We had a great view of the water and it was very close to the restaurant associated with the motel. We were surprised how quiet the room was - a bonus for sure!

The kitchenette lacked any cutlery or plates/bowls and glassware. Not a big issue but since the island grocery store didn't carry them either we had our oatmeal in a paper cup. We'll know for next time!

My husband and I have been traveling for a week and this is our 4 motel/inn. It was the most comfortable of them all including the Hampton Inn the night before. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. It was newly remodeled with plenty of power outlets. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this inn.

The only negative is the hot water to a long time to get warm in the shower.

I loved the cleanliness of the room. The staff was exceptional. Loved the decor and appreciated the lawn chairs in front of our room. Beds were very comfortable

I was disappointed that there was no cutlery, kettle or dishes. Even bare minimum would have been nice but the ladies were very accommodating. I should have probably looked a little closer when I booked

This lodging is centrally located in a quiet bay with quick access to local attractions. There are adorondak chairs provided so you can take in the exceptional views. Picnic tables and grills are also available. The rooms were spacious. The bed was comfortable with the best pillows ever. There was ample parking for vehicles. The staff was very helpful and informative.

The staff and the food are excellent.... they make you feel like family.... the Food is home cooking at it's finest. Wonderful view of the bay. From the Inn to the restaurant, a very short and nice walk.

The only thing that could be better, would be stayting longer... This is island and the people are hidden Gems. Loved the island.... We will be back!
