Staff (friendly, informative and helpful), pet friendly accommodation, spotless updated rooms, outdoor seating, access to beach, plus grills and bikes available for use are all things to like about Friar's Bay Inn and Cottages. And the sunsets were amazing! Defintiely a good value for the money, and a very pleasant place to stay. Perfect spot from which to explore everything Campobello Island has to offer.

Wifi is available at Friar's Bay Inn, but room Wifi didn't work for us. Staff tried to help, but couldn't get it to work while we were there. Given our short stay, not a problem for us.

The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchenette was handy and the staff were very pleasant. We had a great view of the water and it was very close to the restaurant associated with the motel. We were surprised how quiet the room was - a bonus for sure!

The kitchenette lacked any cutlery or plates/bowls and glassware. Not a big issue but since the island grocery store didn't carry them either we had our oatmeal in a paper cup. We'll know for next time!

This lodging is centrally located in a quiet bay with quick access to local attractions. There are adorondak chairs provided so you can take in the exceptional views. Picnic tables and grills are also available. The rooms were spacious. The bed was comfortable with the best pillows ever. There was ample parking for vehicles. The staff was very helpful and informative.

Really lovely cottage right on the beach. Everything was really well maintained and the staff are very friendly. You also have an amazing view of the ocean right out the window so you can enjoy breakfast or dinner while watching the water.

The wifi was pretty bad some devices weren't connecting at all and those that did had very weak signal. The kitchen is super small so not a lot of space to make meals (no counter top space).

Check in went smoothly and lady is very friendly and kind ! Room is spacious and has a comfortable king size bed with a mini split for A/C or heat ! It comes with a microwave and mini fridge with coffee maker ! Perfect place to go …close to ferry to deer island and few minutes to the US border and the Rosevelt cottage ! Beaches are nice for beach glass picking ! Waterfront cottages is perfect place for peace and quiet! Love Campobello love staying at this place!

We stayed in the Cottage right on the Bay. Incredible deck looking west to receive the most beautiful sunsets each night. We were there over the Harvest Moon, so we had the sunset and the big moon rising and reflecting on the tide as it rose to high tide. Can’t beat the location and deck set up. Jessie, the manager was fabulous and welcoming.

Not a thing. It was great for the entire 4 days/3 nights we were there.

The inn overlooks the Bay of Fundy; our room was nicely renovated with a desk, mini-fridge, coffee maker, a butcher-block working area, and storage. A couple Adirondack chairs, outside each room, were perfect to view the setting sun. The inn is close to the Roosevelt Campobello International Park. Places to eat on the island include The Pier Waterfront at the east end and The Porch, next to the inn.

The shower was a little small for hubby.

The location and the view were wonderful as was the convenience of the restaurant for breakfast. Beds were comfortable and TV/internet reception were great. We had a late arrival, but the proprietor had left detailed instructions on how to access the room via a phone call and instructions on the door.

We arrived late and it was very foggy. There are no lights on the sign for the entrance and we drove by it twice. The shower is very tiny considering the size of the room and they have a significant problem with water bugs on the floor. Our seaside cottage was great, but if you stay in the main part of the motel, you have to hike up the hill with your luggage from the parking area.

Very clean. Comfy beds. The room was small but it was arranged such that lots of nice amenities were packed in and easy to use I especially liked the dresser/hanger piece and that there were two comfy chairs. We loved the location and wished it was a bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the Adirondack chairs and grill on the lawn. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was great.

We stayed in the Room with a queen bed! It had a cute little area that had a k-pod machine, bar fridge and microwave! The room had central air which was a lifesaver as the weekend was very warm! The bathroom was small but plenty of room for what you need it for VERY clean! It had extra storage and a tv above a desk. It felt bright in the room and most importantly clean! The ocean was across the road, and a great beach for the kids to play! We even spotted a seal. They had community BBQ’s and we brought our propane fireplace which was nice!
