I can't pick out one thing I liked that stood out more than others. It was a blend of everything put together that made our stay exceptional. The rooms were themed and cozy. And for an older building, it was very quiet. The breakfast was exceptional as well. I feel I shouldn't say what we had because it changes from day to day, but I will say it was delightful, tasty and very well presented. The host was super friendly and helpful. It was just a wonderful place to stay, and if we find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely book here again.

Honestly, the only thing I didn't like, is that we didn't find this place sooner.

This place is perfect in Louisbourg - clean, cozy, easy to find and wonderful owners ❤️ The main floor has different seating areas for you to relax, borrow a book from the library and a well stocked coffee / tea area. The rooms are upstairs, very comfortable, spacious and excellent water pressure. The owners are very knowledgeable - thanks to them we had one of our best meals of our trip. Breakfast was delicious - Eggs Benedict, fresh fruit and strong coffee. It was raining when we were leaving, and they offered umbrellas while we explored the area. Interesting notes - friends of ours stayed here 15 years ago, celebrities have stayed there during filming & it has been a location for filming

Cranberry Cove is in a large beautiful historic house very centrally located in Louisbourg. There was great parking and we could easily walk to restaurants in town. Breakfasts were amazing!! Delicious with such appealing and artistic presentation!

The Inn is somewhat dated and tired. Needs some updating. Sheets didn't fit the bed tightly. It was difficult to get the TV to work even with the instruction sheets. The owner was able to make it work for us. The hot water was not that hot. The heating unit in the room didn't work and the extra heater also didn't work.

The marvelous attention to detail and consideration of guest requests was exceptional. I had mentioned in my reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary and Rose put us into the Hearts and Flowers room - an homage to romance. We found an anniversary card on the bed, chocolates and a fresh bouquet of flowers. The bathroom featured a Jacuzzi tub large enough for 2. The breakfast was delicious with homemade muffins, eggs, etc served at individual tables. There was a comfortable sitting room on the main floor and a generous selection of snacks and water bottles in the small fridge. The TV received a wide range of satellite channels and the WiFi worked well and was easy to access. The location was easy to find and quite close to Fortress Louisbourg. Rose is a fastidious host who pays close attention to every detail to make guests feel comfortable and special. She made our 56th anniversary one to remember. I would stay here again if we ever return to Cape Breton. Rating: 11 out of 10.

The stairs up to the room are a bit narrow.

Cranberry Cove is an exceptional B&B. Beautiful grounds, lots of flowers, huge row of rose bushes. Everything was in super condition, well painted, wall papered, floors pristine condition. We had an enchanting room Garden Secrete which was absolutely beautifully decorated with separate bathroom with a jetted large bathtub. The owners Glen and Rose made us feel at home. A stunning breakfast was served, French toast with ham, home fries, real maple syrup served. Exceptional B&B

Loved this historic Inn. It was immaculately clean The beds were comfy and pillows, particularly love the softness of the sheets. Inn keepers Rose and Chef Glenn were very friendly and informative The two course breakfast in the morning had to be a highlight of our stay Beautifully arranged, fruit bowl with dairy cream to start and then a full hot breakfast There was also an area with cereal and juices and milk and muffins if you want quick, start to your day. I would highly recommend this beautiful Inn to family and friends Look forward to my next stay.

If you prefer BnBs to regular hotel accommodation, look no further - this is the place to stay in Louisbourg! This is a lovely BnB in a heritage building close to the Fortress. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very quiet, clean, tidy and cozy, with little touches you don’t get in a regular hotel room. The property is within a short walk of the downtown area (with restaurants and shops) and is also a short drive from the Fortress, which was the main reason for our visit to this area. The breakfast included with our stay was excellent. In addition to some self-serve breakfast items that were available, one of the owners cooked individual breakfasts for each guest. This included a plate of fresh fruit, plus homemade french toast, all beautifully presented. Breakfast was served in a lovely dining area on the main floor.

The breakfast was superb... elevated, beautifully plated, appetizing and absolutely delicious! Thank you so very much for the thoughtfulness and care you have taken to prepare and serve our two course breakfast. Cranberry Cove became the highlight of our three-night Cape Breton roadtrip for its food, hospitality and its interior. Cranberry Cove is a jewel with its well-appointed, elegantly furnishings. The attention to detail is simply remarkable, and this is what makes the common areas, bedroom and bathroom absolutely delightful, welcoming and comfy. Highly recommended!

Cranberry Cove is a beautiful B&B with the owner, Rose, doing all she can to ensure your stay is perfect. We were there over Thanksgiving so we were happy to have dinner at the property. Dinner was absolutely delicious as was breakfast the next morning! We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Cape Breton. We spent the next morning at Fort Louisbourg which is a very short drive from this B&B, a place that I would also like to return to!

Breakfast was lovely, there was lots of options like freshly baked blueberry muffins(delicious), yogurt, all kinds of drinks and coffee. We started with a lovely bowl of fruit and the main part of the breakfast was very lovely, it was a dish they typically didn't make but for the folks that were there several days it was a way for them to switch it up, glad we were able to try it out :) Started our day on the right foot!

It met our exact expectations, nothing I would change.
