New siding being put on. Two suites at back now have new decks with patio furniture. New windows. New dressers and bedside table. New thicker towels Benches outside rooms cute. Made from old lobster traps. Cute. Good shower. Water was warm. Refrigerator and microwave Plug by bed up high. Great for use of cpap machine.

TV staticky Bathroom needs to be updated although Odd smell in bathroom Did not like sheets. Felt rough. Also bed made a noise when turning over. Mattress cover has vinyl lining which may make it make noisey

Location was great had big river along the back also foodland market across the street and liquor store,the rooms are big siz great move around we had double bed and pullout couch the down is just 5 minutes walk with lot stores to view and restaurants near by also the staff was fantastic to deal with the Johnathan into was amazing host I would recommend anyone want to come this way to this motel ...

The bakery was awful the breakfast was horrible I suggest no eating there the bacon fake and we both got very sick from that bacon...

Accommodation is fairly new so beautifully presented, with all the amenities you need. Lovely outlook over grounds with lovely big windows. Staff were great. Loved the crockery - interesting and bright. Good wifi too.

The only thing we didn't like was that our unit (back bedroom) was next to the kitchen, so very early in the morning, there was banging and noise. There really should be better sound proofing between these walls. The other thing which is a personal preference, one bed had acrylic sheets and not cotton.

Good area. A grocery store across the street, a restaurant on site (delicious food). The motel itself was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. We plan to go back again. The no vacany sign went on for the nights we were there. They do not not serve free breakfast for the price they offer, but you can make your own in the little room in the lobby. There are kettles, coffee maker, toaster, coffee, tea, fresh milk, creamer. In your room there is a fridge and microwave. Also in the lobby is a freezer with bags of free ice. Now what else do you need to enjoy your stay? I would rate a 4 out of 5.

LARGE mowed area behind the motel. Very pet friendly. Quiet. Free tea and keurig coffee in small room between front doors. John at desk welcoming and friendly. Called as we were traveling to Tatamagouche to check on arrival. We were ok with directions with our map app. Checked into Junior Suite which is around the back of the checkin/office. Awesome windows in both dining/sitting area and main bedroom. I’d choose the Junior suite again as it is elevated (approx five steps up?) so higher view. Two separate bedrooms. We shut door to room with two singles and took queen bed with the view!

Area not mowed down to water so only had a sliver of river view. It’s possible that is not owned by owners of inn but it would have been soooo wonderfully calming to have a better view of the water to see from the humungous windows that we had in the Junior Suite. Noise thru door adjoining Kitchen or servery? Loads of spiders outside on windows. If you love that part of nature it won’t shock you.

Amazing service. Jon is the epitome of customer service. He called us in advance to confirm our arrival. Unfortunately, when we arrived our room was not made. Jon couldn't be more apologetic about it and gave us a huge discount (room and dinner). He didn't have to do it. I have seen worse in luxury chains and they never cared. Jon has his customer's comfort as first priority. The cleaning service was called and the room was ready in under an hour. We enjoyed dinner at the onsite restaurant (Whats for Dinner). The motel room had massive windows offering panoramic sunrise views which we loved. There were other nice touches like tea/coffee available 24 hrs. A telephone to reach staff if you didn't have a cell phone (or no signal). Overall a fantastic experience.

We didn’t have breakfast there, but it looked lovely. Our room was spotless! The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the view over the river. The wifi was good. We were travelling from Ottawa to Halifax and stopped for a funeral in Tatamagouche. The location was perfect, and the man I spoke with on the phone was very accommodating with our late check in. We would definitely recommend this Motel and would gladly stay there again.

There was nothing lacking at all. We had everything we needed.

There is no included breakfast (some web listings indicate that there is, but there is not.) There is an on-site bakery that does breakfast sandwiches and also pastries and good coffee.

Listed as "pet friendly" but website does not state pets are not permitted to be on furniture - which is odd, as many peoples' pets would normally sleep on the bed at their feet.

Loved everything about this place. It was clean, well located on our travels and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Simple accomodations with all the basic needs, comfortable bed Will definitely stay there again

No coffee maker in the room but there was lots of coffee available in the room off the lobby 24 hours a day. Worked out great.

I liked the spaciousness of the room with a sofa to chill in and a large window with views of meadows and the river. The 24 hr coffee tea station was handy and the staff friendly. Walkable to everywhere in town, close to food land and pet friendly.

I got confused by the shower taps. I've never seen this design before and it was hard to get the hot water right.
