We loved being able to wake up and golf, ride our bicycles to “the grand bend strip”, and have access to a beautiful beach.

We had originally requested accommodation on an upper floor, but were informed that none were available due to our last-minute reservation. Furthermore, the hallway exhibited a pervasive odor of marijuana, which posed a challenge for my fiancé, who has a heightened sensitivity to such scents. Upon explaining our predicament to Dylan, we received exemplary assistance. Dylan, displaying kindness, professionalism, and exceptional flexibility, promptly arranged for us to be relocated to a different room on the second floor. In addition, he generously heated up some leftover food for us. Dylan’s exceptional service not only averted a potential setback, but also transformed our experience into a delightful one. Our heartfelt gratitude to Dylan.

Upon our check-in, we encountered a lack of professionalism and friendliness from the receptionist. Prior to our arrival, we had specified our preferences for a room located above the ground floor and had requested additional pillows. When we inquired about these requests, the receptionist informed us that no suitable rooms were available due to our last-minute booking. However, subsequent information from Dylan, who facilitated our room change to the second floor, indicated otherwise. It appeared that the receptionist was unwilling to accommodate our initial requests despite the availability of alternative rooms.

stay and surroundings...

after I came back and checked my credit card transactions I noticed two transactions processed by your front desk totalling 197.67 that I had not been input by me by credit card for because it was wrong amount...how it was processed is beyond me?? one of the charge of 47.67 is still showing as pending on my card ...so it left an unpleasant feeling from my otherwise pleasant stay...I will be disputing this charge with my credit card c/s service..will require a response from your office of your findings....

It was very clean and comfortable

The bathroom was not clean and had to keep asking for clean towels and also the toilet was loose when seating down kept moving, the air conditioner kept going off was on for like and hour and then off and had to turn it on all the time and was not cool , room was hot .

We liked Dave’s pub the beach the bed the grounds

The air conditioning was very weak room was damp and humid Parking was tight and always full need more spots

Easy access to the beach. Not too close to the busy strip. Walking distance to some stores and Tim Hortons. Resort had amenities on site

Our lodge smelt of cigarette smoke but was clean. It would have been nice if there were a walking path around the property

Breakfast was alright. Beach is what we enjoyed a lot and the atmosphere around the property with green grass and lots of trees. Fresh air! Food at Dave Pub and Grill was awesome. Our favorite place an hour away from home. It's a bit pricey though but we still love the place.

No microwave in the room

Amazing to have the private beach. The public beach is very crowded, so it was nice to able to have room for the kids to play. Great staff, breakfast. Family friendly.

Outside the rooms (hallways, stairs) was very hot.

Regular breakfast buffet style, nothing special for $21 per person Excellent location , beautiful grounds and private beach, not crowded.

We had reservation for 3 days but coffe only for 2 pods, plus tea 2 pods. We got more when we asked, no problem.

The surrounding was beautiful and the staff was awesome the restaurant however did not meet expectations for the price food was mediocre

The restaurant the drinks were good but the food was not no drink venue and most of what we wanted they were out of and food was cold
