Loved the parisian feel, the staff were 10/10, location was 10/10, facilities and activities were 10/10, us and the food or more specifically the evening meals were about 7-8/10. Overall it was a beautiful location.

When it comes to the geese on the property they didn't bother us. Although the pathways were a bit messy - perhaps somebody could carry a water container on their back and spray more common foot paths on a regular basis but again they didn't bother us to any great extent. The food, more specifically the evening meals were about 7-8/10. But breakfast menu had good choices and great coffee.

I liked pretty much everything, no exception.

I was very disappointed to learn that there was a $200 damage deposit required for each of my two rooms for each night of my stay. In other words, I had to provide $1,200 deposit when I checked in. There was no indication I'd have to deposit more that $200 when I booked through Booking.com - so that was a bit of a shock. I also truly don't understand why it's not just $200/room for the entire stay. I also was disappointed to discover that there was an amenities charge for the pool/day/room if used - I discovered this at checkout. There was to my knowledge no notification at the pool about this, nor was I advised at check-in about this. Very disappointing to be nickel and dimed without any prior notification.

All was excellent. The team is amazing. Lovely place. The garden is fantastic. I recommend this hotel as a beautiful place to stay.

There are some concerns regarding Mohammed’s performance as a reception supervisor. Unfortunately, his approach to customer service falls far below the standards expected in a 5-star hotel environment. Hospitality at this level is an art—one that requires warmth and professionalism skills. However, Mohammed demonstrates a fundamental lack of customer service knowledge, which negatively impacts the guest experience. His interactions lack the polish and attentiveness required in luxury hospitality.

super staff starting at the reception,Sandro the concierge very pleasant snd helpful.The lady at the coat room was extremely pleasant and helpful in recommending some fun food not served at your restaurants like smoke meat peat which had great smoked meat and a full band doing great blues on Saturday night. absolutely nothing to complain about.

I believe in giving gratuities to service staff because if they do their jobs properly it does make a visit so much more pleasant.I wasn't aware nor would I object to a service fee being on the hotel charge when checking out,i just feel it should be transparent when booking in.

I have been staying at your hotel for about 10 years, while traveling from Ontario to my cottage north of Montreal, to visit with my kids & grandchildren. I have always enjoyed everything while visiting. But this last visit upset me in terms of staff.i actually ended up staying for 2 nights, with a separate booking. The first issue happened when my daughter arrived to visit me on Saturday, early in the morning. I had about 2 hours to have them visit, and I hadn't seen them since December.My 7 year old grandson over the last years has actually learned to swim in your pool! And now my 2 year granddaughter is learning. As we entered the pool area (nobody was there, by the way), An assistant from the reception RAN into the pool area to confront me as to who these people were with me and advising me that only registered guests could use the pool. I was speechless and flabbergasted at his abruptness, as I have come to feel like family during my visits and my kids have always visited me every time I'm in town for a swim with Nanna and a short visit Ultimately we finished our swim, but my daughter & son-in-law were not only embarrassed, they wanted to run out of there. Your wonderful employee who works the reception and greets incoming guests as an 'Ambassador' for the Chateau has come to know my kids & me, over the years, and he has only been helpful and gracious during my short family visits. When I told him about this incident, he was horrified and he gave me Ms Antoinette Di Paola's business card and recommended that I communicate with her about my story. Since he has reduced his presence there & now works only part time, he explained how he has come to know all regular guests by name, and acts as your host & ombudsman should there be any issues, friendly, and honest. I told him I felt like a nobody this visit and instinctively said I couldn't stay there any more, after so many visits & good times!

I very rarely give reviews simply because I'm a very difficult person, and it is rather an exception that I'm really happy with my stay. But in this particular case, I should give my five cents. I wish I could give all five starts. This is an excellent and highly well-maintained property. I say more - this is my favourite hotel in the world. When we visit Montreal, we don't think twice about where to stay - it is Chateau Vaudreuil. Your positive experience starts with a very pleasant scent across the entire facility. The property is surrounded by walking passes along beautiful trees. There are plenty of activities to do during summer, such as tennis, kayaking etc. Rooms - hands up, you feel the cleanliness and a taste of entourage. Employees of the hotel do help you all the way and very courteous

But... there are some cons I want to bring herein - it would be nice if housekeepers checked the alarm settings when they prepared rooms for the next guests. It is already twice that alarm wakes me up at 5.30 am, and after, I could not fall asleep. Restaurant - it is twice that waiters brought us dishes we did not order, but they presented as being a part of the ordered dish.

The property looks over lac des deuce montages. Evening meals are peaceful, and restorative. The chef is creative and truly talented. Every day a new and delightful soup, wonderful range of breakfasts. The main reason that this hotel was wonderful is the team that have been chosen and well trained. Patricia served me for most of my stay; she went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Just a truly kind and caring sole. Made all the difference.

Sunday evenings the restaurant is closed, was a bit of a challenge as I had just got off a long flight from Europe. The chef delivered my room service and was kind and generous, more than made up for the situation.

Well managed, properly renovated, careful attention to detail. Excellent restaurant, in fact it’s the reason we stay.

As locals we come for a mini getaway, however unfortunate checkin/out times. Checkin 4PM, out by 11AM. In my experience that’s an unfair hit from both ends; a 4PM checkin usually signals a 12PM checkout. We would have spent extra $ for room service breakfast but simply didn’t have the time. Yes we were lazy sleeping in but that should be what it’s all about, esp after a $5xx dinner - a wedding anniversary evening. We requested a late checkout that morning and accepted their offer: 11:30AM. Close but no cigar. We subsequently enjoyed our Egg McMuffins at the drivethough in Vaudreuil.

It was an elegant beautiful hotel, the style was totally us! Loved that it had kayaking tennis, basketball & bikes to ride right on the property. The restaurant was lovely & had delicious food. The club singer even sang Happy Birthday to me. I also enjoyed the afternoon tea & cakes, which was so lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sandro who went above and beyond to make our stay good here for my birthday, despite the bad weather for the first few days. All in all, I think it is the best place to stay in the Montreal area. My kids loved the pool too. It was clean and the beds were so comfortable. There were two weddings & a bridal shower over the weekend at the end of our stay, and it didn't interfere with us. It was easy to see why one would want to celebrate an event at this beautiful hotel!

The only thing I could say negative was the bad weather in the beginning because of severe flooding and highway was shut done. We had major traffic getting back to the hotel. That wasn't the hotels fault, but they had some plumbing problems because of the flooding. We had to switch rooms after one night. They accommodated us nicely with a better view and free breakfast.

Enjoyed the spacious suites and very comfortable beds. On 3rd floor facing the front towards the car park and main highway. However, no noise issues at all despite it being a busy road. Bathroom had a very good shower with excellent towels, soaps, etc. Air conditioning was great and not overly noisy. There was a fridge and bottles of complimentary water were provided each day. Free Wi-Fi had a good signal and no issues. Lots of free car parking. Nice sized grounds on the waterfront were nice for a short stroll. Appear to have lots of weddings on each weekend - 3 on one day the Saturday we were there. However, caused absolutely no issues for us. Pool was never busy and had a great hot tub and also a sauna and gym. Ate in the restaurant one evening and although expensive was excellent. Staff were 1st class, helpful and very nice.
