If you are visiting Beijing this hotel is a great location in the middle of a busy street with lots of food options and the staff can speak English which is a huge plus! The room is very spacious and clean, we choose one with a window and had an amazing stay here for a very good price. For all foreigners that are traveling to Beijing, here are some tips: Buy your internet sim card at the airport, you cant buy them downtown!! If you would like to see the forbitten city you need to buy tickets days in advance (4/5 is the earliest as its sold out all the time). Your train tickets you need to book in advance and you need your passport to buy a ticket. If you arrive at the station it can take hours before you can go on a train. If you visit the great wall at Badaling, we advise: do not go between 10 am and 2 pm, we arrived and had to stand in line for 2 hour when we got down at 3 pm there was no one there and you could go up right away, we wish we knew. (we are no hikers and only wanted to visit the wall for 2 hours to see it however we went down right away as it was over crowded, we only stayed 30 min)

The hotel was located in a charming alley filled with interesting shops! We appreciated how big and comfortable and quiet the rooms were, with no unpleasant smells. The staff are very pleasant and Zachary in particular was very kind, helpful and approachable!

Not so easy to take a taxi because of how narrow the side alleys are. Though taxis can technically drive through the side alleys, those are NOT one-way lane so we saw how difficult it was for 2 cars travelling in opposite directions to squeeze through the lanes. Need to budget additional time when traveling to airport.

All the members of the staff were very kind and helpful and could speak some English, which was great :) The room was very clean and cozy, toiletries were provided. Air conditioning was easy to use. The bed was big and comfortable. There is a Japanese-style WC which was nice. The location is touristy but very lively and cute, and around 8 minutes away from the subway.

The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable with plenty of storage to put your things. Cleaning takes place every day, and they give free bottles of water every day. The staff is amazing and were helpful with everything I needed. They also offer tours to the Great Wall (Jinshanling and Mutianyu), which I definitely recommend. Special thanks to Zachary as he helped me out from the very beginning of booking this place, even before I had arrived to Beijing.

Note that the street is closed for cars most of the day as it's a very busy pedestrian shopping street, so if you have a suitcase with you, you'll have to wheel it for around 10 minutes from/to the bigger streets around this area.

On a very lively street in an old Hutong but very quiet rooms. Lovely timber highlights in the room.

The room would have been perfect if there was a small fridge, but the hotel does sell cold drinks.

The hotel is recently renovated to a high standard and is one of the best options for a mid-range hotel in this location central to the heart of old Beijing. Note that, for most of the day, Nanluoguxiang is pedestrian-only, but taxis can access the hotel using the 'cross-hutongs' and Nanluoguxiang metro station is 500m to the south of the hotel (use Exit E, which has a lift).

There is no lift, but staff are happy to help with heavy luggage - as they are with any issue.

The location was amazing, in a busy Hutong, with lots of shops and places to eat but so quiet inside the hotel. We stayed in a deluxe double room which was a good size and modern with a nice en suite. Complementary water, coffee, tea each day. The staff were helpful and easy to deal with as they spoke some English. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you wish to stay in a traditional hutong in a vibrant area.

It was literally perfect experience to stay here. Location is so good. Room was so clean and comfortable. My stay was much better than I expected. If I visit Beijing again, I will simply book a room in this facility. Many thanks to hotel employees. They are doing a great job. Special thanks to the lady, who assisted us perfectly in getting our way back home on March 8th. She was super nice.

The staff was really nice and helpful, everyone spoke english. The room was big and very nicely decorated. Perfect location - in the center of the Hutong area, very close to the metro station. I can only recommend this hotel! Amazing atmosphere!⁸

No breakfast. The room was very quiet, which is great, but the view was average.

Best choice ever: location full of life and at the same time quiet room and good sleep; big clean room with all amenities, comfy bed, complete bathroom with all the necessary needed and more. Really accommodating and helpful staff, before arrival and during stay communication was fantastic: thank you, Sunshine and Zachary!! Will be back!
