Fantastic location to explore the Hutongs and many places close to the city centre. The room was very comfortable, with a very cozy and reasonably soft bed, and a Japanese toilet in the bathroom! Also liked the complementary water being refreshed every day. Nice style of the room as well and no noise coming from the very busy Nanluoguxiang, at least in the rooms out to the back of the hotel. Staff is very helpful too!

You will here a lot of noise from the hallway and your room neighbours as sound insulation inside isn’t too great, just the windows are proper noise proofed. Not sure I would choose it for a private trip as price seems to be on the higher end but you get a very decent room for it!

What a fantastic place to stay! the room was very clean, quiet and well presented. The staff have a very good English language level and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were happy to arrange anything I needed. The location could not be beaten, right in the middle of the hutong’s which are the old cities alleyways and courtyards. Steeped in history and culture. You are within a short walk of many top attractions including the bell and drum tower, the Lama Temple, Houhai lake, Shichahai and Beihai park. If you want to go further you are only a few minutes walk from the underground ,which is the best I have been on or 5 mins from a major bus route or taxi’s. Because of the location you are surrounded by a vast array of restaurants with many different cuisines at very reasonable prices. I have stayed here before and have no intention of ever staying anywhere else while in Beijing. I believe there could not be a better place to spend your time. I will return as soon as I am able.

Excellent location in very busy Hutong. Hotel exceptionally quiet. Spacious room. Great bedding. Furniture and decor authentic. Checkin was seamless. Highly recommend for an experience in Beijing Hutong. No meal options however plenty at variable prices within 100 metres. Beautiful walks to nearby canal experiencing community Hutong life.

The TV was snow however did not book property for TV, should be improved.

I stayed in room 207. The wall is against a pub. My first night, pub would not stop the music till 12.45 am.

It was centrally located in a nice area with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants around. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the bathroom and shower exceeded our expectations. The hotel also let us check out late to make the most of our sightseeing time due to an evening flight out.

Our room did not have a window and at times there was loud banging noises through the walls that we couldn’t source where they were coming from.
