Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The facilities are modern, well-maintained, and offer great comfort, making our experience very pleasant. What truly stood out was the excellent service – the staff was always attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay even more comfortable. They went above and beyond, assisting us at all times and even helping us purchase tickets for events, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The breakfast was also excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality and great service. Without a doubt, I will be coming back for another stay in the future!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen hotel, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and friendly service from the hotel staff. The room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The bed provided a restful night's sleep, and the amenities, including the complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV, ensured that I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. One highlight of this hotel is its location. It is conveniently located near Dongzhimen Subway Station, making it easy to navigate the city and explore popular attractions. Additionally, there are plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance, which was a bonus. The breakfast provided at the hotel was outstanding. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, including both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring that there was something to suit every palate. The quality of the food was excellent, and the staff at the breakfast area were attentive and friendly. Throughout my stay, the hotel staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or arranging transportation, their professionalism and helpfulness were truly commendable. Location is really good. With metro it is very quickly reachable from Beijing Capital airport.

Weird taxi driver hanging out in front of the hotel looking for customers tried to offer me sex. The security guards seemed to know him quite well. Doubt I was the only one he did that with.

- Great buffet breakfast - loads of choice and it had a nice atmosphere. - Location was ideal for us - lots of good choices to eat and drink nearby - (close to a couple of taprooms if you like craft beer Jing-A and Great Leap) also near the metro and also some good malls for shopping. - We used Mu-Bus shuttle to visit the Great Wall and their pick up point was from Dongzhimen station so very convenient for us on our first day in Beijing. - staff very helpful - used translator apps to aid communication but mainly spoke good English - Room was very clean and comfortable - we slept really well.

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our 4 week stay in China. Very safe, quiet, super clean, free parking, nice garden. The very popular buffet breakfast is excellent. The restaurant attendants are most helpful and hard working. A great selection of fresh fruit is always available. The reception team are very proactive, professional, helpful and arranged courier delivery of some items for us, organised taxis and stored our surplus luggage while we flew to Vietnam. They have a very cute robot scooting around making deliveries to rooms.

Our only negativity about this hotel is the fact that, over our various stays totaling 7 days, all the food in the bain maries was lukewarm or cold. Why? Because the bain maries heat source was not turned on: like never! Notwithstanding the obvious implications in terms of food safety, it detracts from the hotels dining experience. It's strange to encounter an issue like this in such a professional and slick operation.

We spent a wonderful 4 days in this hotel. Extremly kind staff allowed us a very early checkin after our night flight. MANY THANKS. The building, elevators, room, restaurant are super quality. We did not think a really reach breakfast, many wester foods (baguette, croissant, cheese, omlette,..). Delicious fruits. Good coffee. Room was extremely clean, comfy bed, nice shower. Good facilities, fridge, kettle, AC. Free coffee in the lobby and very nice decoration. Dongzhimen Line 2 and Airport Express is from 15 minutes walk. Small restaurant and 7/11 on the way. I hope next time here and I warmly recommend this hotel.

Nothing negative things.

The breakfast was excellent..lots of choices for everyone's taste; big breakfast hall...although it fills up pretty fast...breakfast from 06:30 every morning...I liked the fact that there is a little fridge in the room...and they provide you with 4 0,5l bottles of water every day; the location is about 20 minutes walking from the metro station; lots of stores and restourants around; there is 7-11 close by..the hotel stuff was great and helped me with everything I asked for; overall I eould stay here again next time I come :)

The great firewall prevents you from opening pretty much anything..so the hotel internet is pretty much useless for foreigners (you better install and activate data e-sim before you come to China); btw..viber works on the hotel internet connection...:)

The rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you could ask for. The staff is a standout feature. They’re not just friendly, they’re genuinely helpful and flexible. Special shoutout to Amanda Shang and Miya Hou at the front desk who assisted with everything from booking excursions to helping get a local SIM card. They even accommodated late check-out request with no issue. The breakfast is amazing! The variety is fantastic, and there’s something for everyone. Finally, the location is ideal. Situated in a peaceful district, it’s surrounded by supermarkets and restaurants.
