We had a fantastic stay — it was flawless from the moment we made the booking, to after we checked out. Ahead of our stay, they made a booking for a restaurant on my behalf, and even rang me from abroad to discuss the best time to do up some decorations for the room as we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and I wanted to surprise him. We were delighted to step into the room that evening with fresh flowers, balloons, and a neon “Happy Birthday” sign greeting us. Throughout our stay, the front desk, reservations team, concierge, and housekeeping team were so helpful, responding to all our messages swiftly and delivering service with utmost professionalism. The level of thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and overall service we experienced was truly unparalleled. The room was always spotless and we felt so comfortable staying there. Housekeeping also wrote us notes to inform us that they had rearranged my makeup on the counter so I could access it more easily (but that if I didn’t like it they wouldn’t touch it again), and that they had retrieved from the bin and set aside a box of (expired) medication just in case we had thrown it out by accident. We even came back one evening to find that they had cleaned our boots even though we hadn’t requested for a shoe shine service! Amazing location, and the facilities and amenities were great as well — we particularly enjoyed our 90min massage treatments at the hoteli spa, which deserves another 10/10 review altogether. Shoutout to Jenny from the reservations team, who made sure we were going to be well taken care of prior to us even setting foot in the country. Shoutout to front desk staff Nora too, who checked us in and out, and was so lovely, friendly, and warm — all smiles, eager to help, and even sent us off with a bath bomb as a little parting gift!

Loved the location, the cleanliness and the comfort. Daniel was most helpful at breakfast, couldn’t do enough. Also Tomas, King and Oscar were extremely helpful and polite.

We just had one disappointing event and that was at your Char restaurant on our last evening. Our server was excellent but was the only one who could understand us. The food was wonderful but the kitchen staff forgot the potato wedges with 2 of 3 of the mains. We had to request that steak dishes be returned until potatoes cooked ! Waiting staff not attentive we had to call for attention. Other than that I would 100% recommend your hotel.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was beautifully designed and had a unique charm that made it stand out from typical hotel accommodations. The highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view—it perfectly captured the entire Beijing cityscape. Watching the sunrise from my room was an unforgettable experience. The staff were also fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality truly made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Beijing. Can’t wait to return!

Serene, classy and exquisite. The gym is pretty well equipped and the spa in this hotel is a must, although comes at its own cost. Overall, very homely and I would recommend you stay here if is your first time in Beijing.

Policy on deposits. One shouldn’t have to pay deposit for everyday of their stay. I understand it’s to protect the interest of the hotel but a minimum deposit would be more probable.

Location is off the main attraction area in Beijing so expect 45min travel time by car during peak hours. However intercontinental in Sanlitun area is full of life with plenty of shop, restaurant & bar to choose from. Especially the Chinese restaurant in the hotel is superb. Breakfast is excellent, there is difference variety everyday as I stay for 5 nights in the hotel and is great to eat different things for breakfast.

My stay at the InterContinental Beijing was fantastic!! Oscar and Brandon started off my stay with kindness and made the check-in very fast. I was so pleased with the room and the amenities that are included! Breakfast was incredible with lots of choices of fresh food. So much to do around the hotel with tons of restaurants and shopping!

I had an excellent stay at the InterContinental Beijing! Everything about the hotel was outstanding—from the amenities to the service. I stayed on the 22nd floor, where the views were spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Beijing. It's definitely a place I look forward to returning to on my next trip!

The only downside was that the swimming pool was under maintenance during my visit, which was a bit disappointing.

Very new facility, great decoration and bed was super comfortable. Room was very quiet and internet connection was superb. I liked the design of separating toilet with shower, but the toilet is with walls that can be seen through on the sides, making it a little odd for non-family members.

Check-in was long, and we got a lower floor room than I expected, although I requested a high floor room. Even that room was ready after 4pm. Breakfast was okay, I would expect better quality and variety from a five-star hotel.

The staff was warm, attentive and personalized our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special by preparing special surprise for our honeymoon. The room was confortable, clean, and design was luxurious
