When I travel (for business) in China I like to alternate between hotels and serviced apartments. The latter allow me to do some laundry and are often an inexpensive option if you don't care much about hotel breakfast buffets and go out to score your own Chinese food like I prefer to do. Beijing Elegant Seasons Park Apartment is renting out small and simple apartments in a typical Chinese 'xiao qu' (community). Public transport (bus and metro) are a 10 minute walk away. If you don't want anything fancy, this is a great option for your stay in Beijing. The staff was also very helpful.

The apartment could use a bit of maintenance. The shower hose comes straight from the ceiling where you're standing when you shower. That was a bit annoying and I had to figure out how to tuck it away. I was a bit put off by the message I received asking for a 10 score review and to mention issues in a private message.

This was the second time I stayed here. I needed a serviced apartment with washing machine for one week and this is close to perfect. Very affordable and you basically have everything you need. It also gives you a good idea about the way many Chinese people live. The bed is very comfortable, there's a desk to work on and a kitchen. Having lived in Chinese apartments, I know not to expect excessive luxury but efficienty use of space. The cleaning lady comes every two days. Metro is a 10 minute walk away and next to the metro there's a shopping mall with many food options in the basement. Besides this, Dongzhimen is a rather quiet neighbourhood.

One thing I (still) really dislike is the shower with the hose coming our of the ceiling and the showerhead tilting over whenever it gets to much pressure. I had to make a contraption with shampoo bottles to keep it in place and not feel like I'm constantly fighting a water-spitting dragon. Also, the apartments have some design flaws. While they are clean, the choice of cheap non-water resistant wood for parts of the bathroom (like around the basin and the door) means things tend to look rather worn and damaged. A spare roll of toilet paper and some garbage bags would have been handy. Neverthless, I'd come again.

There are few sockets near the desktop table and there are used by the internet devices... You can't charge your devices while you are eating or working there In the morning, you can ear people playing tennis. It it was not a problem for me. Note I said tennis, not cars or parties.

I stayed in Beijing for almost 7 weeks and this apartment was excellent value for money for a longer stay. A fast internet, kitchen and washing machine were important to me. Nice view on the city, comfortable bed, good air condition, great hosts that are easy to contact, very helpful and speak good English. Location is excellent (10 minutes walk to the Capital Airport Express and Dongzhimen subway station). The Liangma River is just around the corner which is great for a relaxing walk or run.

Furniture could be newer and the room overall more stylish, but as the apartment is very affordable I think you can't expect a boutique hotel look. More kitchen tools, plates, cups and pots would be a plus for someone that want's to cook for real.

I really enjoyed my stay at Beijing Elegant Seasons Park Apartment. The apartment is conviently located in a calm neighborhood and is close to two Metro stations (10 minutes to Dongzhimen, where you can also take the aiport express train and 15 minutes to Worker´s stadium). A short walk also takes you to either the Liangma river or the bustling Sanlitun Village. The window looks out onto a kindergarden and sometimes the kids are doing exercise in the morning (this did not bother me at all, but could be a problem for someone who likes to sleep in). There is also a convenience store in the apartment complex where you can buy day-to-day products as well as a Jenny Lou´s just 2 minutes from the gate. When i got there, the hosts colleague picked me up at the gate to hand me the key and show me around. Communication was always good and all questions i had where answered imminently by Wechat. As you can tell from the pictures, the apartment is not exactly huge, but it is big enough that i could comfortably stay for 11 days. Apart from all regular appliances it also includes a washing machine. Facilities where cleaned every two (?) days while i was not home, which is also a great asset.

There is not really anything that i did not like. Pictures are accurate and you get what you pay for.

The owners of the property was waiting for us which was very useful. They explained to us a few things about the apartment and also about the city and they also were contactable during our stay. The bed was comfortable. The apartment had the utensils for cooking breakfast and dinner which was very important for us. The location was excellent. It was very close from the station. Going to touristic places was very easy from that station/accommodation. We recommend staying in the apartment.

Everything was excellent - very smooth check in, friendly and super fast responsive host, very clean and spacious apartment. Cleaned regularly. Pretty close to the metro station and supermarkets. Very peaceful and quiet area. High standard and many useful amenities - even no charging adapter is needed. Washer and iron available. Lastly - THE view from the window.. amazing. I would surely come back to this place.

Comfortable location. 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. Shops, cafe, restaurants and shopping centre are in walking accessibility. Everything necessary stuff (dishes, towels, clean bed linen, iron, kettle, washing mashine etc) was in the flat. The host was friendly, polite and helpful. We could check in earliear than it was marked on the site without any additional fee. Cleaning without any claims. Sound proof is perfect.

Old furniture. Flat needs to get a little cosmetic renovation.

The location is in the center of Beijing, it is very easy to go to all the tourist views. There are plenty restaurants and shops closes to the place and easy to call a taxi too. the people work there are very nice and helpful, once you need extra bottle water or toilet tissue, message them, they will give you very soon. The room is big enough for a four family, they have washing machine, kitchen, fridge, so it is very ideal for a family.

We like everything.

Very nice, clean and central apartment, close to the subway, multiple bus connections and possibilities for food, groceries etc. They made me feel like a family member during my whole stay, were very communicative, organized a taxi to pick me up and drop me off to the station after my stay. Very nice, polite and discreet people. Highly recommended!
