Zoe and Orange at the reception were very helpful when we arrived late at night. Orange paid for our taxi from his own money, as we had no cash and our WeChat wasn’t working! He also bought us some noodles from the vending machine as we hadn’t eaten. What a great start to our trip in China and the wonderful friendly and helpful people there. Thanks again Orange :-D The suite was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable — with plush bedding, a spacious layout, and all the amenities we could ask for. We appreciated the attention to detail and quality toiletries. It was useful to have a washer dryer too. The views over the city from our suite were outstanding. Try to arrange for a good view if you can. Superb choice for breakfast, a huge selection. Definitely worth considering this hotel if you are visiting Chongqing.

Perhaps a little more attention from the many staff in the restaurant at breakfast.

location is the best in Chongqing (best shopping mall just downstairs, and walking distances to most of the tourist spots). And compared with the intercontinental hotel (just next door), it is half the price, and double the room size, and also has washer/dryer, which is a plus for travelers who are away from home for more than 1 week.

We had a great stay at Ascott Raffles City Hotel. The location is excellent, and the modern, very spacious rooms are perfect for a family of four. Everything was spotless, and also the pool was great. It’s also very convenient to have vending machines available in the lobby. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to arrange an early check-in for us, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was good, though it could be improved with fresh juices, a wider selection of cereals, and more fruit. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Everything about the hotel was amazing – from the atmosphere to the overall service. One small suggestion: it would be great if room service was available 24 hours, or at least until midnight, as 9 PM feels a bit too early to stop. I especially want to highlight the kindness of one of the front desk staff on the 29th (I unfortunately forgot her name). She went above and beyond by using her own phone and account to help us order McDonald's delivery – such a thoughtful and generous gesture. She truly made our stay even more memorable. Thank you!

Location was excellent. Hotel staff were wonderful and helpful. Rooms were very spacious and exceptionally clean. Panda and clown robots delivered vending machine groceries which was amazing and so cute! Swimming pool was clea, quiet and a good temperature.

Restaurant not open for dinner (only breakfast and lunch). They offer in-service dining that can call down. As a foreigner with no Chinese, I could not call down so had to go to reception to order. But they were very helpful.

I stayed for 4 nights and got and upgrade to a suite with two bed rooms and two baths - quite to big for me alone. Anyhow - Really appreciated that and the friendliness at the reception. The check-in worked fast and staff is very nice and supportive. The room at the 33th floor was big as said before, and there was view at the river side, but not too much as the other towers partially block the view. Also nothing to complain about, even if there might be rooms with better views. The room was modern and clean and got a small kitchen and washing facilities which came quite handy for long-term travelers like me. There is also a coffee machine. The breakfast was included and offers all choices from continental to local fresh made noodle soups, I liked that very much. There is also a late supper offered. The location at Raffles City is central for sure and it is not far to see major attractions and the crowd and especially the living blocks with their crazy architecture (for which I mainly came for). The nearby metro station is very nice to go even farer away like visiting the Liziba station or the Great Hall of the People. Did the check in at the front desk, and asked if we could get a room with betther views. They offered the option and showed us both rooms to decide, in the end we went for the better view one for a very rasonable upgrade fee. Enourmous apartment with two very big bedrooms, the beds are very comfy. Breakfast was good as well. Facilities are amazing, with gym and large swimming pool and sauna Location is great, with shopping mall, metro attached to the hotel.

We were worried about the convenience of the commute to the central area, but it turned out our worries were unfounded. The hotel is just above raffles city mall with a metro station within the mall. Lily at the front desk is very helpful. She assisted us with the changes we needed to our hotel booking. She also assisted in arranging for a one day tour to Wulong with pick up from the hotel. The entire stay was very comfortable. The room we had is very spacious and clean. Will definitely recommend this stay if you are visiting Chongqing.

Fantastic location of the hotel. Polite staff. Very spacious suite for three adults and one child. Comfortable and very clean beds. In general, the entire suite is clean. Breakfast is ok, but the restauran can be very crowded because the dininning area is small for such a large hotel. However, the staff reacts quickly and cleans the tables, so you don't have to wait long.

Bad internet. The water in the pool is cold and the deckchairs and parts around the pool are not quite in line with the whole hotel. The window panes could be cleaner so that fingerprints of previous guests are not visible.

Clean, spacious, and quiet room. Anything we needed we could ask at the reception and they bring it shortly, and the staff was very kind. The location is amazing, close to the restaurants and the metro. The breakfast was also great. And the welcoming decoration was lovely 😍.

Despite the fancy room on 43rd floor, the view wasn't that romantic, facing another building, but it is very minor thing, the overall experience was great.
