What was upsetting was that the booking (25-26/10) on our return from Zhangjiajie was upgraded, without my request, to Business Deluxe from King Deluxe. We were very happy. However on our checking in we were informed that this room was without breakfast, whereas our previous booking (16-18/10) in the Kings room, had included breakfast. We would have preferred to have the same booking with breakfast instead of the hotel arbitrarily upgrading us without asking and slipping in the no-breakfast clause, which we did not notice. We paid extra for the breakfast, which in any case was a reasonable RMB 300/- But we had not asked for an upgrade...the hotel just did it on their own.!

Location in the centre of the city, rooms cosy. Buffet dinner quite good, great gym.

LOCATION WAS SUPER .STAFF AND DUTY MANAGERS WERE THE BEST.WIFI WAS CONTROLLED AND PROHIPETED BY GOV IN CHONGGING IN THE HOTEL ROOMS.TV WAS WORTHLESS, CONTROLLED PROGRAMS,BY GOV.HOUSE KEEPING WAS SUPER.CHINESE PEOPLE IN CHONGGING WERE VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL.ATTRACTIONS WERE GREAT.FOOD WAS NOT AS WAS EEXPECTED IN MODERN CITY.TAXIES AND DIDI'S WERE VERY GOOD.WEATHER IN AUGUST WAS SO HOTT.

QUALITY OF FOOD WERE NOT AS SUPPOSED TO BE.HALAL FOOD PLACES AND RESTAURANTS WERE VERY LIMITED.

I absolutely love my stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, everything I need was just nearby, from local attractions to convenient shops and restaurants. The surrounding are vibrant and safe, which made my trip even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained, and offers excellent facilities. One of the highlights for me was the breakfast - such a wide variety of choices, both local and international options and everything was delicious. i truly had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

One thing I didn’t quite enjoy was that the rooftop restaurant closed a bit too early. I was really looking forward to visiting it, unfortunately couldn’t manage to make it in time.Also, I noticed a bit of language barriers with some of the front line staff. I believe that having basic english communication skills would really help the guests experience, especially for international visitors.

I booked 3 separate rooms with an extra large double bed in each room for my family for 2 nights stay. Booking.com gave me free upgrade to 3 Deluxe Business Rooms with breakfast included. The rooms were so beautiful, so big & also on the high floor! It has a desk, a seating area, kitchenette & sofa bed, the extra large double bed was so comfortable! We love the amazing gold trimmed bathroom with a large bathtub, beautiful vanities and equipped with very high quality towels, bathroom toiletries or hotel amenities. We really enjoyed soaking in the bathtub with Epsom salts provided by the hotel after a day out in Chongqing. Glenview ITC Plaza Chongqing is a truly 5-Star Hotel! Highly recommend it & value for money!

Location cannot be beat, situated between subway lines 1 & 2 travel to other parts of Chongqing is fast and easy. Hotel is located in the middle of the shopping and dining district with an abundance of options. The room was warm and comfortable, making it an easy choice to sleep in on cold mornings. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Room service food was good and delivered promptly. We had an excellent 8 night stay that far exceeded our expectations!

The Chongqing weather was cold and grey, but we had a great time anyway. No hotel complaints at all, it was excellent.

The hotel is central and within walking distance to the Linjiangmen MRT and most of the major sightseeing spots. We were upgraded to an executive room which was big and quiet. Staff from the reception to the cleaning and technical people were unfailingly polite and helpful.

1) Housekeeping could be better. We had eaten bread and some crumbs were on the sofa and floor which were not vacuumed away. But generally the room was neat and clean most times. 2) Breakfast price was a little steep though the selection available at the buffet was pretty adequate

Very convenient location - truly downtown and within a short 10 minute walk from almost all the main attractions that this incredible city has to offer. Shopping malls nearby, good restaurants a few steps away, convenience store across the street. Friendly and helpful staff - better to know basic Chinese though, but not necessarily. AC works well, bed is comfortable, rooms are big, breakfast is above average for China. Gym is ok, not too large. Make sure you check out sky lounge on top floor - it’s really cool.

Soundproofing of my deluxe business room could be better. Room cleaning missed a few visible spots, but not critical.

Very nice and large, with grand and classy furnishing. I appreciated the touches of traditional Chinese culture. The beds and the bathroom were very large, and stocked with great amenities. Additionally, the room was view beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially receptionist Cami, who assisted us in a very kind early check-in. Overall, the hotel and stay was lovely.

My only main concern was that the room was too warm, and didn’t seem to be controllable via the dials in the room. While not detrimental, it did disrupt sleep slightly. The power outlets by the bed were also below the bedside table, meaning that while useable, it was very inconvenient to try and plug things in and they often didn’t stay in either.

Great location. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The cleaner checked our room and as we were checking out they received a call from her to say I'd forgotten a bracelet. The concierge even went up and collected it for us. The room was clean and large and very comfortable. The bathroom has alot of amenities, and I especially enjoyed the large tub with Epsom salts. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on the food. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

The rooms are quite old style luxury. I didn't mind this but the carpet in our bedroom is definitely due a new one.
