1/ Hotel has just been renovated. Higher floors renovated in 2023 while lower floors renovated in 2024. 2/ Room is moderately spacious, clean, non-smoking, comfortable, modern and quiet. As a light sleeper, I have requested for a room facing the back of the hotel (instead of the front main road), it is quiet although time to time, we can hear neighbors talking along the corridor but only a short while as they passed. 3/ Toiletries, room sandals, mineral water were provided daily. 4/ We reserved room without breakfast, so can't comment on it. 5/ Wi-fi is very good. Can access to yahoo, Facebook, etc. 6/ Service is excellent especially, front desk, Linda is very helpful. Just sharing my experience that we flagged down road-side taxi from Guangzhou Baiyun International airport to the hotel and was ridiculously charged RMB400. I highly recommend to book thru Didi apps which probably will cost around RMB200 + toll fee (if you opt for it to save 20 min journey if no jam).

1/ Location is 20-25 min walk to the nearest train station. However, it is also not located in a super jam area. As we travelled using Didi (Grab equivalent), location is not an issue for us. 2/ The shower water temperature has a tendency to change from warm to cool. It didn't bother us much as the variation in temperature is not that great. It is not extremely cold and the change is probably 2 seconds. 3/ Small leakage in the shower connection (room 2106) that caused slight rustiness in intersection. 4/ sharp corner of basin tap handle that cut my finger.

A really helpful and extremely attentive team. Excellent diversity in breakfast The suite is exceptional, with excellent exterior vision. and relatively well soundproofed, given the traffic in the city center. A good starting point to enjoy the city.

Perhaps a small improvement to be made in terms of infotainment. The televisions installed in the rooms are of excellent quality, but do not allow channels in languages other than Chinese. A small, relatively controlled diversity of foreign languages could be a plus for foreign tourists... But apart from this little point of improvement, I really don't see what I could add...

Mr Rainy quo on reception, met very warmly, also took luggage from cab to room. He guided us for taxi as I had to attend Canton fair. He wrote in Chinese language on hotel card and helped. Also he arranged microwave to cook veg food packets which I possessed. Also other staff were cooperative. on 8th floor foot massage was very relaxing. On the whole a comfortable business stay.

It’s a great place to stay. We arrived early and were offered early check in as soon as room was ready. The staff can speak very good English and helped us a lot with directions, taxis, money questions etc. The rooms are very comfy with softest beds and fluffy bathrobes. Would totally recommend.

Good location! The environment is good! Parking is free and convenient, the breakfast is good, the room is comfortable and warm and clean, the front desk brother Achu Rainy service is good, also gave a small gift, cost-effective hotel! I'll keep visiting when I get the chance!

Say Hello to Concierge Mr. Rainy Qiu when you arrive, He is a very professional, kind, friendly Man and knows all the answers you will need to have an amazing stay. Mr. Rainy will go the extra mile to accommodate and will answer all your questions or issues you have in Guangzhou while also providing excellent solutions you may have not thought of. For example, during these Covid days he arranged for my travel to the only place in China I know of getting a National Vaccination Certificate issued by The Government, which, take my word for it , is not an easy thing to do. By the way, It's in Dongguan. Rainy has helped me in every way I needed help and please say hello to him when you check in. Mention him by name and your stay will be fantastic. Ten star review, 5 stars not high enough for him. All the staff and receptionists were all friendly, helpful and made me smile whenever i needed assistance, you will not regret staying at this perfectly located Hotel, it has everything you need. Did I mention Mr. Rainy gave me a free room upgrade? I had the biggest TV i have ever seen in a room ;] ;] . I love Victoria Hotel and Mr. Riany and I will never stay anywhere else in Guangzhou.

There was nothing i did not like, which is unusual for me, i am well traveled so have many hotels to compare Victoria to.

Location and room is excellent, comfortable beds, clean room, lots of bottled water, and staff are friendly.

Gym is very small and limited, wifi is poor, very slow and didnt work on my laptop. It would also be nice if the hotel had a western restaurant in it, only has chinese restaurants.

This hotel is in a great location if you are visiting the Canton Fair, they also had a shuttle bus to and from the fair. The English is good and they were very helpful in arranging taxis and translating English words into Chinese so the taxis know where to take you etc.

Everything was great, the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast adapted to Western food. 10-15 minutes from canton fair. We are back in this hotel!

Overall very good stay. Pick up and drop facilities to attend Canton fair. Special snacks and drinks after arrival from Canton fair. Very supportive staff with multiple choices for breakfast.

My suggestion is to add more option in vegetarian food.
