I don’t usually review, but this hotel was something else… Heaven on Earth – Just Book It! I don’t say this lightly—Rosewood Sanya is absolute paradise. From the moment I arrived, everything was flawless. If you’re even thinking about staying here, stop overthinking and just book it now. This is hands down the best hotel in the area, with world-class service and stunning surroundings that made it nearly impossible to leave. I’ll 100% be back! One of my favorite parts? They have a dedicated guest experience team who will help you plan everything—from adventures to relaxing getaways I did a yacht and helicopter ride—at super reasonable prices. I rented the cutest pink Porsche for just £60 for 24 hours (yes, really!). What an unforgettable experience. The seafood restaurant is another must-visit. Fresh fish swimming in tanks for you to choose from—so fresh, so delicious. The staff there are next-level amazing. A lovely woman from Nepal made my night with her warmth and impeccable service. She was so attentive I couldn’t even finish a glass of water before she’d top it up. Her name was Prettisha or so can’t quite remember but Truly a gem! Between the gorgeous beach, exceptional food, luxurious facilities, and the kindest staff, everything here is beyond amazing.

The interior design and room layouts were beautiful and luxurious, and a lot of the architectural detailing and style was iconic 'Rosewood' styled. As an individual couple looking for a luxurious stay in great comfort on Hainan Island facing the bay, this was a veritable steal.

While the hardware was excellent, and the staff were friendly and super helpful, they all seemed to lack confidence in a way and were not as sure of how an encounter was meant to go. The building is also split between the hotel, and service apartments stacked above that you can only access from a separate entrance on the other side of the hotel, so in many ways this was only 50% of a Rosewood hotel..!

The infinity pool is one of the best tourist attractions in Haitang bay. Our room came with a beautiful balcony and bathtub that had a brilliant view.

We had to wait to have breakfast because the restaurant wasn’t big enough. It’s on one end of the hotel strip.

Very good location and beautiful setting. Staff were nice and friendly. Heated pool was great.

Only minor things - The bed was a little soft and no double basin made the bathroom a bit tight.

The hotel is luxurious and very well maintained. Beautiful pools and great gardens!

The hotel should offer a shuttle bus to nearby activities and the guest relations desk could make some more effort to promote local activities!

no English speaking staff who seemed rushed and inattentive. I was patient and understanding, knowing it was a busy holiday period, however I have come to expect better service from the rosewood group. price was highly inflated to take advantage of the holiday season too. room was large but spatial configuration made it seem smaller than it actually was.
