The hotel itself was excellent—clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What truly stood out was the staff. They were exceptionally helpful, kind, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Their outstanding service made my stay truly memorable.

The breakfast service was disappointing. Although it was advertised from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, by around 8:45 AM, they began clearing items and didn’t replenish what was finished. Even after requesting specific items, the response was a firm no, which felt dismissive. Additionally, I was deeply disappointed by a comment made by one of the staff members regarding my nationality (India). It was disrespectful and completely uncalled for. While I’ve chosen not to name the individual, I believe such behavior should not be tolerated, especially in a hospitality setting. That said, my overall stay was pleasant thanks to the rest of the team.

I had an excellent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Shanghai, and I want to give special thanks to the front desk staff. They were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. They assisted us with everything we needed and even offered a complimentary room upgrade that perfectly met our requirements. Their outstanding service truly made a difference. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The location was good as well with nearby restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on my next visit to Shanghai.

Property is near. Good food outlets nearby. Next to Starbucks. Nice view from room. Lots of activity in the arena opposite to the hotel.

Property listed as if it’s near NECC but only connectivity is by taxi and it’s about 5 km away. I should have done a bit more research but name is slightly misleading.

Rooms are very Nice. I stayed at this hotel 4 times in last year and I liked it very much.

Breakfast is bit disappointing for vegetarians. Very less options for vegetarians

Room is tidy and clean, well maintained. The bed is comfortable, I stayed for two nights. Staff are friendly especially appreciate for the help from reception who helped me to order taxi as well as recommend nice restaurants nearby.

The price of the hotel is very good. It is a very good place to visit Shanghai exhibition.

The most important drawback of this hotel is that it does not have access to the subway by walking، The distance to the subway is about an hour by walking.

Friendly and helpful staffs. The high floor and back street view was very nice. There was free coffee at the lobby. However, the public transport wasn't very convenience. There has no metro, but bus station isn't too far. There are many small resterants nearby. Also there's a local market around 10-15 mins walk. My shops and food there.
