I like most the ubication, I was not so far from NECC. Staff do not talk english but they use translator and all of the are very kind.

The place to take breakfast is 4 squares from the hotel. It Will be better if we can take breakfast on the same building. However breakfast is really good, they have many options like american breakfast and chinese food.

The place is nice and clean, with a gym at the ground floor. The staff were very nice, no problem with speaking english at all. Interior was nice, colourful and modern. The room me and my friend got was really good, the cleaners come everyday with fresh towels, bedding, bottled water and slippers. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We also had TV in the room, as well as kettle which came very useful during our stay. The location is quite nice, a little far from the city centre but getting a didi turned out to be quite inexpensive so no problems with that. Multiple bus and metro stations near the hotel also help with commuting. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings, perfect for late night trips. Ordering takeout through 美团 was easy, the food is always left in the same place next to the reception desk. You can also order packages from 拼多多 and pick them up in the package point outside the hotel. The staff is eager to help when you need it. There are at least 2 convinience stores near the hotel, as well as a starbucks and a restaurant. Overall our trip was 10/10, check-in and check-out went seamlessly. The staff were even nice enough to let us stay additional 4 hours because of the typhoon that was currently going through Shanghai. Definitely a place worth staying at!

It is cute in a sense that it’s budget-friendly, clean, comfortable and quiet. It has small convenience shops and diners close-by. The closest metro station is called “Panlong Road” and it’s 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The district “Hongqiao” is a bit further from downtown and all the must-see’s of Shanghai. Once you figure out how to use the metro, the distance wouldn’t be a problem anymore.

The staff’s english language skills are limited so make sure to have translation apps downloaded. When I arrived they asked me to pay the room fee, even though I had already paid through booking.com. They said my pre-payment will be refunded through booking.com once I check-out. For a person who is traveling on a budget that was an unexpected expense, and waiting and uncertain amount of time for the refund is inconvenient.

The breakfast was great, just need to walk to the another hotel. The location is very good as is walking distance to the exhibition center, Hongqiao ariport and railway station. The rooms and spaces are modern, it has a gym and laundry and meeting rooms. There are banks and small shops around. Can arrange pick up to Pudong airport for a reasonable price. The pick up fee to Hongqiao airport I think is a little high but they also offer it.

The wifi inside the rooms wasnt that good. The staff doesnt speak much english although they are very friendly, they even help me to receive a parcel. There werent many restaurants around so better to ask for food delivery.

Cozy, clean and luminous room, very comfortable bed, nice shower and toilet, very welcoming and polite staff. Mr Roger and his staff at the reception were very helpfull, it was my frist time in China and they offered all the help I needed.

It is a bit distant from the city centre, but the metro station is close and taxis in Shanghai are cheap. The insonorization of the rooms could be improved. Breakfast could be less expencieve.

Everyone was helpful and nice. Especially, Koi Xu, who was sincere, kind and patient to answer all of questions and help me with my requests! The cleaning staff did an excellent job - I really appreciated it. It was a pleasure to come back to my room in the evening. Facilities were clean. Good location, in a walking distance from NECC and Old town. Great value! Thank you, everyone at Lyf, for a pleasant stay!

The object is very neatly designed and have everything I needed for my very short stay lasting unfortunately only 5 hours. Room was very clean and everything worked flawlessly. There was a short distance to the subway which will be even shorter in near future as there will be additional station built.

There was small communication problems as reception desk couldn’t talk in English language but used mobile translator which eventually resolved the problem.

everything, proximity to NECC, staff , cleanliness, service, even though no one understands English besides Roger , but they all are equipped with translation device and will manage all that one needs efficiently. there is a small supermarket next door which is very convenient . stay was very comfortable.

breakfast is not in the hotel, one has to purchase coupon and go to next door hotel to have . they have a tie up so one has to buy coupon and walk 4/5 min in another building.

We stayed here for a 5 day show at the NECC. Hotel was exceptionally clean with good quality bedding, pillows etc. Rooms were spacious and location to the NECC as well as various touristy venues was a huge plus. We didn't pay for breakfast but it looked delicious and will do so next time.
