InterContinental Hotels are always great! We chose this property because of the size of the rooms. They were clean and spacious! It's located near the National Convention Expo, about 45 min from the Pudong International Airport. Although further from the city center, the property is within walking distance of a subway station, which makes all the attractions and amenities, including the subway to Nanjing Rd/the Bund/Disneyland, etc., accessible. Quite convenient indeed. Their continental breakfast is excellent, and they have various local and international stations.

Great hotel, especially if you’re attending an exhibition at the NECC. I was able to access the exhibition through the hotel, which was very convenient. The rooms are good with the basic amenities you’d expect from an Intercontinental Hotel. The breakfast was good. There’s also access to the subway via the NECC which makes it convenient to get around Shanghai.

I was unable to use the swimming pool or Jacuzzi because I didn’t have a swimming cap. I wasn’t notified about this requirement when booking the hotel. There’s only one bar & restaurant excluding the Buffet restaurant. The hotel reception gave us the incorrect information regarding the duration of the Subway from NECC to Pudong International Airport. She advised that the duration is +- 50 minutes, however, the actual duration was around 90 minutes, which is a significant difference and could result in someone missing their flight.

Location directly at the exhibition center was very convenient. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, and dining in the traditional Chinese restaurant in the hotel very good. Service staff was very friendly and helpful.

If possible take a room with an outward view, the inner rooms look onto the exhibition halls and that is not so nice. I could have changed rooms since it was offered by the service stay but decided to stay in my room. After a couple of days it feels a bit claustrophobic though.

I booked a massage at the spa which i believe could have been better . The lady doing the massage was inexperienced and half way through the massage left to use the bathroom for 5 minutes. It was unprofessional and the massage itself was substandard and definitly not something i would reccomend to anyone.

There is no better location if you are going to the fair. Breakfast was top-notch. Everyone was very kind. The massage was excellent.

The prices in the café located in the lobby are very high. For example, a regular cup of coffee was over 10 USD. The room is of a decent size but cannot be said to be spacious. There are no special amenities in the vicinity of the hotel, so you have to use a taxi where you will have a problem with communication.

They have Indian Chef who prepares Indian dishes like Parathas, Choley, Masala tea, Daal, Rice etc A Five-minute Walk to Xujing subway station (Line2) Hotel Interior is fantastic. If you would like to book Airport Taxi, you can contact Hotel concierge, they will book fixed rate taxi for you. Concierge booked 6 seater luxurious taxi to Pudong Airport for 65 CNY.

Everything was perfect, if you are visiting the exhibition centre don't look around, it is the best option.

The swimming pool was closed, and there was no halal meat option in the breakfast buffet. My room had cigarette smoke smell, and I asked them to move to another room, and they did straight away. Free Wifi sevice wasn't that good, I had to use my mobile roaming data.

Very good location to Bakery China. Good food and very corporative staff.

I booked for a Jounior suite but std room having much better facilities like wall to wall cupboards and there is a passage inside the room which cannot unitize. Only to enter the room. I paid double more than the my friends normal room . Next time I will book std room.

It’s within walking distance to the convention center, staff are professional and hospitable. Very helpful as well. Love the spa facilities, and the bar - BRU.

Distance from some attractions, and how hectic traffic can get. And oh, shower water leaking in the loo, there’s a hole in the shower seat that needs to be sealed but wasn’t addressed by the staff during our 5 day stay. Still good though, not really bothersome.
