The room was excellent, with a very comfortable bed, great bathroom with a bath and good shower and kept very clean and stocked by the cleaning staff. Only downside about the room was the selection available in the minibar, which was poor. The staff were also very accommodating changing our room on the day we arrived as there was an issue with the shower in the first room we were provided. The hotel itself is immaculate, staff have a good knowledge of English in comparison with elsewhere, and they are very helpful. The facilities are in general very good, with plenty of restaurants, bars and leisure facilities. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection available. The little touches were appreciated, e.g. bath salts to use in the bath, lots of fresh towels and robes and lots of water / toilet roll (our previous hotel had been very stingy with the toilet roll!)

Unfortunately, the leisure facilities only look good on the surface. In reality, we didn't make much use of them and felt let down considering it's a 5 star hotel. I don't understand the point of having a sauna if it is never on. It took 1 hour to heat up the Sauna in the men's room and even then it only got to 48°C. It was even worse for my wife. A sauna in one of the therapy suites was switched on for her to heat up while we went for a swim, but one of the other staff switched it off while we were in the pool. She gave up since it was hotter outside in the Xi'an heat than in the Sauna. So in theory, excellent facilities, but there's little point in having a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, etc, when they cannot practically be used! Other than that, excellent stay.

The staff were exceptional, one young man in particular Andy, who so helpful kind and courteous. Andy spoke excellent English and was able to assist with arranging activities and making sure we had everything we needed. The club on level 11 was great, afternoon tea with little cakes etc. and happy hour drinks. Nice way to meet other guests.

The bathrooms were clean but the sealants were in need of replacement. In saying that the shower was great! We had to change rooms as the wardrobe doors wouldn’t open but the staff (Andy) showed us another room which was very nice with a better view.

Wonderful hotel. Fantastic staff and facilities. We had a suite and it was wonderful. Lots of space and a number of extras offered which was a lovely touch. Spa and pool area were beautifully maintained and again the staff were fantastic. Highly recommend! Koi restaurant was an excellent addition to the hotel. We ate there a couple of evenings and everything we had was delicious and staff were wonderful also.

Nothing. It was over 40’ most days we were there so we took a Didi cab most places which suited us , but if you wanted to be front and centre in the action this may be a little further walk to get to Bell tower etc. However we loved the location - inside the walls and in a little calm oasis in the centre. Wonderful.

It is a very big hotel complex, as i can remember with 5 buildings. Inside the complex it looks very comfortable and expensive, the hotel staff is really profesional, they booked us the tickets for Terracotta army and gave us the tips. Not all of them are speaking english, so they recommend you to wait for a minute and than someone comes with a decent english. They called the taxi on the next day, the driver already knew all coordination, waited for us and brought us back. Inside the room it seems to be little older, but still very beautiful, huge room and everything was clean. The hotel is exactly in the center, so you can reach anything taking a walk and see this very beautiful city. You have a lot of food choice in the city, but i would recommend you to take a lunch/brunch inside the hotel, it is very rich with choice and quality, the price was around 20 Euros, but they gave us it for around 15 as we stayed in the hotel. On the other side the drinks at the bar are expensive, beer, wine, between 7 and 10 Euros for a glass.

1. The bottle of water costs 10 euros, you get also a free bottle, but mistakenly we have taken three of them that weren't free, so had to pay 30 euros, which is incredibly expensive. Both bottles are on the kitchen, so be carefull. 2. They cancelled the deposit as we left the hotel, but after one month the money wasn't really cancelled. So we had to contact them again and they apologized, after 3 working days the deposit was canceled. Don't think it was intentionally, can happen, always check twice.

Great location in the city center of Xi-An, a 15 min walk away from the Bell tower and the Muslim quarter. The room was very comfortable with a big bed, sofa, large desk for work, and bathtub. The hotel wi-fi already includes a VPN which gives access to western websites, and they also use a robot for room service deliveries. The hotel breakfast was also amazing, with a lot of choice. A very special shoutout to Andy from the concierge desk who was extremely helpful booking restaurants, taxis and activities for our group, and teaching us how to use WeChat. He made our trip so easy and pleasant!

Very comfortable and well located hotel. We paid extra to upgrade to a bigger room, breakfast and evening food/drinks. It was definitely worth it. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Mr Wang the duty manager made sure we were helped every time, Will spoke excellent English and helped us with transport options and Andy and Kevin helped us with a taxi. We met the sales and marketing manager of the hotel on our way to the subway and she walked us to the station and helped us buy tickets and find the right train! A big thank you to everyone for the great service.

The hotel is a bit old but still very comfortable and great value

I had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. The location was ideal – easy to access, close to everything I needed, and in a quiet, safe area. The staff were, always friendly, professional, and ready to help with anything. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Everything worked perfectly. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. A great variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to different tastes, and everything was delicious. All in all, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay

Good location. Easy walking distance to most places inside the city wall. 20 min walk to Yongxingfang, busy market place and eateries. Azure Restaurant at the hotel for meals, although you pay a little more but the service and food was very good. Western and Asian choices. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having a pre dinner, drink in the bar. They have cocktails, beers, top shelf etc. Most of the staff speak a little English but it’s a good idea to have a translating app of some sort. We felt very safe walking around at night.

We stayed in a Prestige Suite on the 10th floor, and while the room itself was very nice and well-appointed, the air conditioning in the first room was virtually non-existent. After raising the issue, we were moved to another room where the air conditioning was slightly better, though still not up to the expected standard. Despite this, the staff at the executive lounge truly elevated our experience. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and thoughtfully organized a special birthday treat for my partner, which was a lovely and much-appreciated gesture. Their exceptional service really helped offset some of the room's shortcomings.

Best hotel we stayed in for our China trip. We stayed in three locations Shanghai, Xi'an and Beijing and this hotel was by far the best which was down to the staff who were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Andy went out of his way to provide us with assistance, even walked us round to the chemist for my mosquito bites. I loved the robot, I was in awe. The location was perfect and I wish I had spent more time there than other places. It's definitely on my list to go back and without a doubt I would stay at this hotel again. Value for money is an understatement compared to the other 5* hotels in the other cities we stayed, especially with the Club access for free snacks and happy hour cocktails.

The only small negative is that we were not on a no smoking floor.
