Everything was truly lovely. The staff was super kind and helpful. The breakfast and diner were delicious. We particularly liked that the hotel is very quiet. There is no music being played and there are I think only some 10-15 rooms. The area is really nice. There are two private beaches where you can go for wonderful strolls. Between those beaches is a small river where you can see real Caiman/Crocodiles! The nature overall is incredible! The beaches are empty, no vendors, no nothing, just beautiful nature. The waves are magnificent and beautiful to watch. You can jump into the water to refresh, but cannot swim because its too dangerous (currents). There are some surfers though. A 10 minutes walk will lead to a third beach „playa los angelos“, which is next to a hostel. Very nice place with good food and drinks. Again, you cannot swim but its beautiful. Another 20 minutes on is Kokkos beach. The Hotel also offers great Yoga classes and amazing massages! 5 minutes taxi drive away you can enter Parque Tayrona which is beautiful and where you can go for a 2-5 hours walk in the rainforest! Its increduble! Inside the Parque there are also 3 beaches where its safe to swim (aka going into the water - cause the waves still are strong but there is no current pulling you out). Overall the place was probably the most beautiful spot we ever visited!

Beautiful location overlooking the mouth of the river and sea. A very special place to sit and look out from. Quite spectacular. The cocktails were also great.. We had one of the pool suites . Lovely to be able to step out of the door into the beautiful pool area especially given that it was not possible to swim in the sea. Our room was very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Be aware that like most places in Colombia there was no hot water. I had 2 great massages . I highly recommend them. There were loads of birds and wildlife everywhere and the gardens are beautiful. Overall a beautiful hotel although a bit pricey but I would still consider going back

The restaurant service was not great. Some of the staff were fantastic others less so.The hotel is quite expensive by Colombian standards.

The location is puerly magical!! It offers sunsets like nowhere else in the area of Tayrona (the National Park does not have such beautiful sunsets). It has a fantastic surrounding nature. It has both the luxury confortable option (suites) and the spectacular options (cabana). The Maloka is a mix between confort and spectacular. Staff is lovely and very accomodating. We took a great yoga class with Haile at sunrise. We had drinks in the Sierra bar, and a parrot was naturally roaming around. The photo is taken from the Sierra bar, which is near Cabana.

The webapp is not easy to register into, but once it is done you can order breakfast in bed :)

The views are just amazing! The lush vegetation of the park contracts against the sierras and the water was beautiful and very calming. We enjoyed our stay very much, recommend the suite with the private pool although the other rooms have also a magnificent view. The food was very good as well. Also I recommend you use Uber to move around since it's 3 times cheaper than ordering a taxi which ends up being the same people that drive the Uber. Beaches you should go to include Los Angeles (8 minutes walk from hotel); Mandihuaca and Kokkos.

The AC was not really working but they had floor and ceiling fans which worked fine for us. The bed was a bit hard, so a topper would be nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Maloka. The staff was super nice and helpful! They always treat you with a big smile! : ) My bedroom was super nice. The site is gorgeous as well, with awesome spots to take great photographs! The beach is beatiful and private, pool area, bar and food, were delicious.

Im not sure if this is something I did not like, but it is kind of a bummer, that having access to a river and the beach, you can't really go in either one, because there are caymans in the river, and the beach is just too violent! At least it was during my stay.

Stunning views, very peaceful. Hot stone massage was exceptional. Evening meals were delicious. Loved the pool area for the suite bedrooms. Friendly staff and excellent service. Enjoyed the sunset views at the nearby bar where resident parrot Roberto could be found. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel for a stay near Tayrona Park!

Restaurant kept running out of some meals or drinks and didn’t re-stock during our 4-night trip. Having some background music in the restaurant area would create more atmosphere. Breakfasts were a little hit and miss but their dinners make up for it!

Amazing location, stunningly beautiful. Wonderful property spread across several buildings across the sprawling site, all with their own version of the extraordinary sweeping views. Stylish, comfortable room with a balcony. Good breakfast, excellent dinner menu. But this place, for me, wasn’t about the food but the breath-taking location. Small disappointments… Sadly, some of the staff seemed less than fully engaged in their work. The flasks of hot water, supposedly available all day, were often empty.

Stunning views, nature on your doorstep with caimens cruising along and iguanas perching in the trees while the lovely staff bring your drinks. Comfortable rooms, nicely decorated, although we did prefer the second room we were in (due to late booking/availability) since the glass windows (rather than mosquitos nets) helped the air con function better. Showers just delightful. Also had wonderful massages, super relaxing, at the same time. The breakfasts were amazing - loved the multi-course style.

We didn't like that we had to leave.

Location was excellent with river and sea views. Restaurant area was breezy and food was delicious. Pool bar by the two beaches and river view is sublime! Rooms clean and beds extremely comfortable. Great location for Zaino entrance to Tayrona National Park - and real chill out location 👌

Staff were very welcoming on arrival but less easier to get the bar and restaurant staff to serve us. Customer service is different in Colombia so be patient, or get up and go and ask them!

This is a place I hope to return to again and again. The property is beautifully designed, with friendly and attentive staff, and the food is fantastic. It feels like you’re truly at the edge of the world, but with the comfort of clean, spacious rooms. The location is nothing short of breathtaking—situated where the ocean, river, jungle, and the Sierra Nevada mountains all converge. On top of that, it’s conveniently just a 5-minute drive from the Zaina Gate entrance to Tayrona National Park, making it the perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility.
