The location of the hotel is great. You are a 2 hr hike to the more popular beaches. You have two beaches right on the property. The views from the room are phenomenal and we loved hanging out in our hammocks. The bathroom was very clean and we had hot water and great water pressure. The included breakfast was delicious.

There were a lot of stairs so be prepared! The menu at the hotel is limited and they were out of a number of items due to the park shutting down in a few days. This is not a complaint just a warning. This is close to the beach so the sounds of waves is loud and the fan you need to stay cool is loud as well (bring ear plugs!).

The location is unbeatable! The most amazing views of the park and the beach. It was a dream come true to stay there!! The staff was extremely nice and helpful, very easy check in and check out, and the breakfast provided exceeded our expectations :)

I feel that the price is a little too high for what the ecohabs (rooms) offer. For what you pay you expect higher quality of furniture/amenities. I understand that the ecohabs are located right in front of the ocean and that the salt produces for metal to get corrosive, however, I feel like better sheets and towels could be provided, without stains and newer ones. It just feels like the place could be a little more taken care of. There could be additional supplies in the bathrooms like extra toilet paper, bar soap, toothpaste, etc. Just little things that make the guest feel more comfortable.

Lovely setting, great styling of room interior and buildings. Beach access , shower

For the price our expectations were higher…just a little….a couple of simple things should be included here (they are at cheaper properties) 2 bottles of water to drink should be included especially when the tap water is not suitable for drinking) restaurant was quite good but for this level you should expect to finish your appetiser before your main course is served, a chair in the room, and better style netting over the bed. We stayed at a different hotel in the park (cheaper but similar style) that provided all these things. Easy to do and provides a better experience

great location, in the national park, close to a stunning swim beach. very close to nature

the main problem was the use of bottled water. as an ecolodge there should have been a workaround to this. but you were essentially forced to buy water in plastic bottles, and thus use a whole load of single use plastic, inside a nature reserve. the sort of people who will go typically try to avoid plastic usage as its bad for the environment. It would have been good to have large reusable metal vats of water with a tap on them that you could buy instead. second issue was the presence of cats and dogs in the nature reserve (some owned by the ecolodge). Cats and dogs can kill wildlife so dont tend to help conserve nature.

The little ecohabs were perched up above the ocean with great views and a relaxing area to hammock below the main sleeping area. They were comfortable and clean. It is a challenge to make something this nice in such a remote area and they did a great job. The dining room area was comfortable and food good and they did not take advantage of the situation and charged fair prices. The access to the park and beaches was awesome and worth paying extra to not be with all of the crowds.

They need to train their staff better especially the beach access area. It was very hit and miss. We are paying a lot of money for the private amenities and although i do agree the beach should be public to everyone there were many times that people not staying there would just plop down on one of the chairs reserved for guests and sometimes even have a smoke with was very offensive. The icing on the cake was when i moved a lounge chair into the shade. I put my towel on it to let people know someone was there while i ran up to my room. When I came back one of the employees had moved my towel to a chair in the sun and was sound asleep in the lounge chair! He had an official eccohabs outfit and was sound asleep and probably supposed to be working? Didn’t sit well with me.

The location is incredible. The views from the higher huts is immense. We loved the sunrises, hanging in the hammocks, the sound of the jungle and waves at night. The private beach is nice, and they arranged us a transfer to the steps of the ecohabs from the airport for a reasonable price. The food was good if not spectacular.

The service in the restaurant was incredibly slow. The place was busy when we were there, but we had a few waits of >1hr for food. There’s no way other than the collectivo to get to the Zaino gate if you don’t book your onward transfer with them (depending on where you’re going, some of these prices are not that competitive), which given the standard of the hotel is something that could probably be added.

Very relaxed and extraordinary quiet place over and at the beach, with even the possibility of a bath in the sea in a small safe area of its own sandy beach (all other beaches in the area are closed for swimming either due to turtles breeding or the everywhere highly dangerous off-coast currents with more than 100 people’s drowned)

Transport on the last part of the very bad road to the hotel was not possible as the buses stopp a 15min walk before; but private taxis may be available for those with heavy luggage, who are not willing or able to carry it on this wet and dirty road

WHAT A VIEW!!! I cannot express enough on how mesmerizing the view was from our ecohab! Watching the sunrise and sunset from our room was extraordinary and a memory we will not forget! In addition, the private beach is easily one of the best best beaches in Tayrona. The room was perfect for the two of us, and staff was very friendly! Huge compliments to the bar tender who works the tiki bar; she provided high level customer service! When we return to Tayrona, we know where to stay!

-The mosquito net: it is just too small for the bed and kept touching us while sleeping. -As some have mentioned, the food could be better. For instance, the ceviche was very good, but why accompany the ceviche with crackers, when they can accompany it with patacones! Many dishes already have patacones, and it just makes it that much better! The meat was a hit or miss on the different nights we were there. Nonetheless, this would not discourage me from returning to this wonderful location!

Beautiful place and cabañas. The views are amazing. We simply loved it and were very happy that we decided to stay 3 nights. I could stay even few nights longer as I enjoyed it a lot. We were close to the nature inside the Tayrona NP. It is the best choice to stay inside the NP and in one of these beautiful cabañas. We were able to park our car in front of the reception without any problems. The food was tasty and with a big choice. Nice beach with sun loungers with umbrellas. Drinks at the beach. Lifeguard at the beach. Swimming possible. Other beaches nearby. I can only recommend.

Bed was a little too short for my husband, but it was not a big problem. Water was cold in the bathroom, but again it was not a big problem.

A wonderful getaway for a long or short stay, perfectly situated at the beginning of the north/eastern trail of the Tayrona Park, a full-day (albeit gentle) hike to some of Colombia´s most beautiful beaches. The forest itself is remarcable too. However, the habs and the private beach are all a tired soul could dream of. A perfect spot to disconnect from the world. WiFi is only available at the reception, the restaurant, and the beach - there is barely any phone signal in the habs which is what we were looking for. The food was good, the staff super kind, and the coco-lemonade to die for. Bring bug repellents, and enjoy the nature!

The lack of culture of some people (including the lifeguards) who insisted on leaving the sound on on their telephones at the beach, poluting the tranquil space with their questionable choice of music. Also, there should be some light on the beach at night, the treck to and from the habs via the beach at night is a bit tricky without headlights. There was a coffee pot at the hab but no coffe - bring your own just in case.
