The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Especially Charlie, cool guy and always smiling :) the location is pretty central and easy to access the public transport.

The common space can feel a bit small, but they have nice balconies to relax. The room I slept in didn’t had a window to the outside so it got a bit hot during some nights, each bed has a fan though. so wasn’t that bad.

The hostel was so much better than expected. The kitchen had everything you need. The 4 Bed dorm room had 2 showers which were super clean. The bed was very comfy and everything was beautifully furnished. The balcony also had a very nice view and offered a place for relaxing. I also loved the different spots you could hang out at. The breakfast was yummy and the staff was nice.

The only thing I didn’t like was the location. I didn’t feel safe walking around by myself.

Nice location close to the center, nice bars and restaurants around. Like the local feel, away from the tourist bubble. Personally found the area fairly safe.

Rooms could get a bit hot, and on the other hand the fans were quite loud at night.

To me this hostel is one of the best: from their design, to the breakfast and the people working there (very nice and always willimg to help you- of course if you speak Spanish will be easier). You can cook in the kitchen, you have all you need. The breakfast is enough for the money, they change it every day. It is clean. I was lucky enough to sleep all alone even if it was a shared (female) dormitory. The location is ...the location. Very central, but not the best at night to see. I cannot recommend this place enough, exceptional and good value for the money. Now I moved to another neighbourhood in Medellin ( I wanted to spare my stays in different places in town), but, you can't compare the quality of the places. It is warm and has all you need for a hostel. Thank you very much! Gracias!!! ❤️ Ps: they have unlimited filtered water.

I loved everything!!

Very clean and pleasant, nice equipped kitchen and common area

El centro is without any doubts one of the worst neighborhoods of Medellin in term of security. You can't go out of the hostel at night without grabbing a taxi. During daytime is fine but got to stay vigilant.

Good amount of facilities and had a very homely feel to it.

Close to the road so a bit noisy and location was a bit further out from some of the areas we wanted to visit (but it is very close to the centre of Medellin)

The staff was very helpful and friendly - they cared about our experience in the accommodation and were quick to help with any requests and give tips on what to do in the city and other destinations in Columbia. Breakfast was alright (sometimes quite little portions for one person) but there is a food market right next to the accommodation, so we just went there to grab some more snacks and coffee.

Since our room was directly next to a net on which you could sit in the common area, it was a bit noisy at times, but the quiet times were enforced every day, so from 10pm on, it was rather quiet.

It has a good common space where I managed to get some work done on my laptop. It is very clean. The staff are nice, especially Charlie. They serve light breakfast daily. There is everything you need. Also, a public library and a huge food market- both very close to the hostel. If you are sound sensitive (traffic, music inside), consider buying earplugs.

I really liked the facilities and the staff was really kind

The ubication is good to do the touristy stuff and your are really good connected, also you have quite a lot stuff in walkable distance. But the surrounding areas are not safe at all.
