The hotel is very nice, perfect for a one night stay prior to an early flight. The food in the restaurant was quite good (Italian, mostly pasta), and the included breakfast was REALLY good. I was most impressed with the shuttle service - so many places claim to have free shuttle service to the airport, but don't actually deliver (or there's a cost, or the transport times are limited) - but this service was really good, a comfortable, well-marked van. It's only a 5 minute ride to the airport, but these things are much appreciated by solo travelers like myself.

The room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable, but the room does need some upgrading. Huge bathtub needs to be re-grouted. Toilet handle was quite loose and needs a little maintenance (room 309). Towels are cheap and scratchy (for the price of $97USD, fluffy towels are expected). The room also needs some more accessible outlets for electronics.

Wonderful staff all-around. The facilities are modern, clean, and VERY CLOSE to the airport. They offer complimentary van from/to the airport. The front desk personnel were helpful and friendly The food and service were excellent. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again!!!

The area around the hotel is kind of sketchy. It was fairly OK to walk around during the day, but would definitely NOT do it after dark@

The free airport shuttle was at the airport within ten minutes of calling the hotel. A plus with that was the driver. He always had a smile and appeared to like his job. Upon arrival and check-in, we were greeted with a smile and a personable personality. The shuttle driver took our luggage and showed us to our room. Even though the room was basic, it was spotless and equipped with everything advertised in the listing. The bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was hot. We ate breakfast at the hotel the next morning and no complaints at all. It was hot and delicious. Upon checking out it was smooth with no surprises what so ever. We only stayed one night to be close to the airport and not fight the traffic coming from Medellin. It met our septations. The entire staff was outstanding.

It is not a hotel fault but at present time there is construction near by to improve local transit mobility. Late at night we could hear heavy equipment working forcing us to wear earplugs. Other than that the hotel is a great place for traveling. Close to the airport with a convenient shuttle.

Loved it, I just loved it. The next time I come to Medellín, I definitely want to spend more time in Rionegro. It's too bad I only reserved it for 1 night to catch my flight the next day. The restaurant has delicious food. Breakfast service was great. Staff is very friendly. Room was comfortable, they gave me a fan which was adequate. Rionegro actually gets cool at night unlike Medellín. Definitely want to spend more time here next time!

We have stayed at Santiago de Armas for the past 15 years and always leave very satisfied. I recently traveled with Senior parents and the staff go beyond their call of duty to assist us in making our stay comfortable. Maria and Camila, at reception, Rafael and Carlos, the shuttle drivers, and the food staff were, as always, very friendly and helpful. ¡Muchas gracias!

The staff very kind and attentive. The food was very very good! The property is under renovations at the moment so many areas were not available. Although we thought it was going to be noisy with the machines and workers, but it truly wasn’t.

There was no hot water and the walls are very thin so you hear everything that’s going on outside your hall.

. Very convenient to airport, and FREE 24*7 shuttle with excellent driver. Good hot shower and modern but flexible lighting. Great staff who wanted us to be comfortable-there were very noisy people near us, preventing us sleeping in the short time we had to do so, and they efficiently changed us to a quieter room. Rest achieved! Info in room says they support different communities in Colombia by using their products and employing people from different areas.

This place was great! We arrived late and they sent a free shuttle to pick us up from the airport. The staff were excellent. The room was remodeled and was very nice. They even gave us a room with 3 individual beds. In the morning we were amazed with the breakfast. Eggs, potatoes, coffee, fruit, cereal, bread, etc. Lovely patio to enjoy your breakfast. This place was really nice. Would stay again for sure if my travels take me back to Medellin.
