The breakfasts were good, well made, and well served: eggs to taste, pancakes, French toast or arepa, coffee and juice. You can bring other food and they will gladly serve it to you at breakfast. Excellent preparation. Reasonable quantities and variety. Excellent value for money.

Accessible. Cabs available. Walking distance to interesting sites. Bicycle tour available, excellent service. Restaurants for all budgets and good food. For fish go to "adonde Chucho" on one of the corners of the Plaza de los Novios. Andres is another excellent option if you want excellent quality meat. Delicious ice cream. For the aucuario and Tayrona you have to take tours or cabs to the boat departures. Casa Charlottee is as shown in the pictures. Spacious, clean, air-conditioned rooms. The attention of all the staff was at all times cordial, efficient and very helpful.

Nice little gem in the heart of Santa Marta old town, 2min walking away from Parque de los Novios. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. The pool is rather small but a nice plus. What we loved about this place is the breakfast, that Rosi was freshly preparing upon our requests.. eggs, arepas or pancakes or fresh toast, everything very delicious!

Casa Charlotte is very central in Santa Marta. Nevertheless you don’t feel the inconveniences of animated neighbourhoods (noises, etc). In Casa Charlotte, you feel like you’re at home. You feel welcomed and the tenant is here to help you with all your inquiries. Special mention to the jacuzzi.

The jacuzzi needs maintenance and the garden a little cleaning.

It is a well maintained & simple property right in the heart of town. Sharon from their staff was extremely responsive & professional pre-check in to check-out. The rooms are uniquely designed & it is fairly quiet once inside the hotel The main attractions from eateries, churches, beaches are all within a few minutes of a walk

The rooms are un-conventionally designed, which means 2 things - A bath tub with a shower curtain are right in the room - rather than a seprate area - The large glass gable doors have curtains that one can draw. However, from a privacy point of view this may not be the most comfortable for some people - For solo travellers like myself this was not an issue. However, couples/ friends sharing the space may or may not align with this design concept

Loved the overall feel of the place, spacious and airy. We had delicious breakfasts including the most fantastic arepas! The room was comfortable, two large beds.

Our door didn't lock which was okay as we felt safe enough but not ideal. Also no hot water both times we visited. Moments of warm water only in the shower. A hairdryer in the property would have been useful as well as a dedicated person to call. The lighting was dim. They definitely could have used brighter bulbs.

Rosie was lovely and very helpful. She kept the rooms looking spotless. The bedrooms were very nice - AC worked well and the showers were hot and had good pressure. The breakfast made by Rosie in the mornings was tasty!

The jacuzzi was stale and full of leaves when we arrived. We were told it would be cleaned and filtered on the day but when we went back, it just had some leaves removed. There were still leaves stuck to the filters and the water was slightly green, so we didn’t go in, which was a shame because we really wanted to!

What a find. The kindest and most attentive staff. Let us in early. Brought a blow dryer on request. Great shower gels. Spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast. The first time we’ve had proper homemade arepas on our trip. Relaxed. Clean. Good location.

Nothing. But ypu need to know this is a chilled place. One communal breakfast table. Funny loos & showers which are separated by walls not in seperate rooms. If you want more trad separation possibly not for you.

We used Santa Marta as a stop over to head to Tayrona national Park. It was a great place beside some very nice streets which had a lot of food and bar options. Didn't want to stay out too late though going by other reviews. The breakfast was outstanding (French toast was crazy good). We didn't speak Spanish and the staff were very helpful to accommodate us.

Understand we're in an area were there are a lot of insects - but the jacuzzi had a lot of them and the building is slightly hard to find, there are no signs out the front from we ever seen - a local had to help us.

Super clean hotel. Really well located near to the restaurants and the beach. Rosy, who attended us, was just amazing. She helped with us with everything we needed, breakfast, times, etc.

There was a couple who had no respect at all for the other guests and their rest, talking out loud and smoking in the terrace til 2 in the morning. That was just terrible, not at all to blame the property, but to say to the other guests please respect the people’s time.

This place is amazing!!! Really beautiful architecture and decor, lovely garden area, and cool upstairs jacuzzi. The room was nice, the beds (and particularly pillows) were extremely comfortable. The shower was nice and the room was very clean. The location is also great, very close to the hustle and bustle but far enough away that there isn't any noise. 10 minute walk to the local beach, which is really a great place to swim and relax. The staff was absolutely wonderful and so kind to us, very helpful! The breakfast was divine!!!
