The hotel is gorgeous and cozy. Staff is so kind and discreet. Somehow they really fit with the place, very charming. Excellent location nearby supermarket and historical streets with main restaurants, nearby the central market where buses depart for main attractions. Rooms are spotless, charming and functionnal. I'd stay there again if I have to stay again in Santa Marta

The rooms upstairs are really quiet and nice (this was my first stay) but not the one on ground floor (my second stay): you hear everything from outside. It is usually quite quiet so not a major issue.

The Hotel Casa Verde is nice and cozy, well cared for with high attention to detail. The rooms are reasonably priced and very cute. I especially liked our bathroom which were spotless and modern. We were welcomed by the owner and her staff very friendly; especially the owner was very helpful in arranging transportation and with recommendations for getting around; restaurants, etc. Although the hotel is in a busy and lovely area, the rooms are located in a small patio and are quiet. They come with aircondition and (if included) a simple but homemade breakfast.

Breakfast could have a little more options / variety, but it was just fine for two nights.

What I liked about Casa Verde Hotel is how accommodating and welcoming the staff were—they stored my luggage while I went on my 4-day trek to the Lost City, making my trip much easier. The hotel’s interior design is quite chic, with an exotic and interesting feel. My room was modern, clean, and spacious, exactly what I needed to rest after the long trek. Plus, it had AC and hot water, which were much appreciated.

Honestly, nothing! My stay was smooth and comfortable.

Beautiful setting and decor, we stayed in two different rooms on either side of a treking trip. Both rooms we spotlessly clean, well appointed and stylishly decorated. Breakfast is either eggs and pancakes with fruit or toast and fruit, both of which are filling. The staff were incredibly helpful and made the stay all the more enjoyable.

Beautiful hotel, especially the courtyard and pool area. Rooms appear to vary in size, but did not feel cramped, and lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was great, with very friendly staff team. Location was great, just a 3-4min walk to main area for restaurants, and a main shopping street in the other direction, but no impact of noise etc.

Safe. Comfortable beds. Hot shower. Air conditioned. Beautiful common areas. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Held our suitcases while we visited Tayrona National Park and Minca.

No drinking water. We travel with reusable water bottles to reduce our plastic consumption. It would have been nice to refill them from a 5 gallon jug.

My favourite hotel in Columbia so far! Lovely peaceful oasis in Santa Marta. Beautiful colonial style decor, arches and high ceilings. Wonderful little pool, plants everywhere. Our room had a hammock on the terrace. The most charming staff who couldn’t be more helpful, looked after our bags for two days while we went to Minca. Sorted taxis for us, and produced food and drinks to order during the day. Good breakfast.

A little dated, the air conditioning and fan were noisy.

The hotels located within a short walking distance to the beach and right down town Santa Marta where all the restaurants/ bars and clubs are . Beach / excursions during the day , shower/rest and 2 minute walk max to all the night time activities. Nancy (hotel staff) speaks some English , is super nice as is the rest of the staff. The rooms are clean, safe in the room to keep your valuables ,breakfast is amazing , has a cute pool to relax after all day and an amazing chill black / white cat that likes to hangout in the lobby . In my opinion you wont find anything better/ safer / cleaner / friendlier for the money. I took video of the hotel but this only allows picture uploads.

I absolutely love everything about the property and the staff. They could of charged double and I still would of paid it .

Staff are extremely attentive. I was quite ill while I was there because I had just returned from the lost city trek and they were all very kind and helpful to me. The owner is very friendly and speaks perfect English. He kindly gave me recommendations not only for the local area but also e.g which restaurants to reserve in my next destination. The decor is stylish and it is newly renovated. The courtyard is a very pleasant and cool place to sit.

Beautiful hotel in the historic center but on a quiet street. We liked our stay here so much that we added several nights. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Delicious, filling breakfast with 3 options. Complimentary coffee and purified water, and a refreshing soaking pool perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The staff really make this hotel stand out. They are kind and welcoming and went out of their way to assist us when my husband left his phone in the taxi, and when I hurt my knee & wrist after a fall on the street. After our side trips to Tayrona and to Minca, returning to Casa Verde felt a bit like coming home. In our 3 months of traveling this is hands down our favorite hotel. I highly recommend Casa Verde and will stay here again when we visit Santa Marta.
