Right in downtown Santa Marta, close to everything. Very safe area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable, great value for the money.
Very loud in the morning. If you like to sleep in, get a room upstairs. We were on the 1st floor and way too close to the kitchen. They prepare (a free) breakfast right outside our door very loudly!

The staff was incredibly friends and the location is just a few blocks away from the main square. That said, you wouldn't want to walk too far in the other directions though.
The pool area wasn't open and the pool didn't have water. We also had to pay with cash as their credit card machine wasn't working... and I have a feeling it wasn't working for a long time and they do not plan on fixing it. This made it difficult as it is hard to obtain a lot of cash being a foreigner.

really good value for the price
you can hear people talking ( employees ) really loud from the bedroom. At night music I thought was coming from the doorman. in the morning I had to ask them to lower their voices . but they did and it was all fine

There was no shampoo when we arrived. No hot water in the bathroom and breakfast started at 7:30, a litle late.

The AC was directly heading the bed, which was very uncomfortable The restaurant in front of the hotel had super loud music until late The bathroom was small and the water pressure not well Generally the place wasn't very inviting

They canceled my stay. Then after an argument they had a miraculous last second cancellation. They charged me almost double for the room parking was not free.
