Loved the bed, the style and how quaint the premises look! I had an incredibly good sleep and the additional green blanket felt heavenly. The hotel is located in a development area subject to not so nice areas, but in a few years it will look amazing. Close to Playa Dormida beach and the beach itself is quiet, there are very few sellers, and if you love to watch planes depart and arrive, that's a perfect spot for. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the airport, though I consider paying $25.000 COP for a taxi is expensive. I walked from the airport to the hotel, it was about 20 minutes away, I do not recommend doing it at night, during the day it's all good to go, I travelled solo and felt secure, even when I walked through the railway to arrive to the hotel. Hotel was in low occupation, food was really good and it was the perfect spot to escape from the city and relax. They are building a rooftop bar, I will look forward to go back and see it to enjoy the sunset!

The pool looks nice bit it needs a deep cleaning in the corners, if the WiFi fails you will be totally stranded as some mobile providers don't have a high range reach. There are a lot of sandfleas and mosquitoes, so ensure taking with you a bottle of stay off to prevent being eaten alive!

Very cute and friendly staff at this small hotel. The rooms are pretty new and modern. The food is prepared directly in the open kitchen so you can basically watch them prepare it. The pool is nice and refreshing. The hotel is located pretty close to the airport and the beach.

The hotel is located very close to the airport, so aircraft is starting close to and passing just by the hotel on a very low altitude with considerable noise. Luckily, the airport is small so there are not too many flights and no night time flights as far as I can tell. Unfortunately, the WiFi was unreliable. The hotel is located in an undeveloped area close to the beach with bumpy dirt roads leading to it.

The staff was super friendly, accommodating and kind. The place was pretty, charming and clean. We loved our Macondo room with its butterflies and tribute to Gabo. The bolognese we ordered was delicious and I wish we had more time to eat more meals there.

The rain showerhead is annoying because it covers almost all of the shower space so you can't really stand in the shower without being rained on.

The best part by far is the staff, incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel itself is amazing, 10 mins by taxi from the airport and 5 mins from the nearest beach. Room was spotless and pool, food and overall appearance was super!

The shower head in our room made it difficult to not wet your hair, it was a very minor detail.

Located very close to the Santa Marta airport- convenient to stay 1 night prior departure. Sweet garden with a pool. Lovely ladies welcomed us on arrival, and despite late hour kindly agreed to prepare a quick snack.

Breakfast was rather average, I was surprised it was highly praised in the reviews.. but may be something have changed.. a lot of items in the flat showed signs of being worn out (chipped doors, cracks on the sink).. very basic toiletries, so best to have something of your own

This house was an great value for the price! Ritacuba is beautiful and quaint, I stayed in a family size room with plenty of space… amazing staff, and short walk to the beach with resorts near that allow day passes to their facilities 🏝️.

Nothing not to like about the actual property in general… Only thing is the Airport is near, so the jets taking off can be a bit loud.

the quiet and calm is what I hoped for, that is once the planes stopped flying overhead. there are positives and negatives to staying close to the airport. luckily the plane noise did not disturb us during our sleeping hours. staff super friendly and attentive; their kitchen had a variety of tasty food choices; once they get their rooftop remodeled it'll be a great place to hang out and enjoy the view

for 2 women it was not a good location to be able to go and walkabout after dark, even if it is only 6pm. as they say, off the beaten path, which for many it is a rush and an adventure; not our cup of tea, but not bad for our first visit to Santa Marta.

Angela is an angel. Her dedication, care, hospitality was at another level. Rooms ample in size and clean. No luxury, but full of warmth and love

The dirt road. But it's by the beach so....acceptable. close to main road and a 5 minute drive to Zazue Mall. Awesome

It was near some slightly rougher areas of town. But the security of the hotel makes up for it. The walk from the hotel to the beach is not rough

I needed a place for a few hours in between flights, this hotel was perfect for that. I arrived early, and although check-in wasn’t until later, the staff kindly allowed me to access my room ahead of schedule which was very much appreciated.
