Absolutely love this hostel and will keep coming back. Great pool. Great events. Easy to meet people. Just all around great. Cheap drinks at the bar. Hands down best hostels in Santa Marta and arguably best Viajero In Colombia maybe just behind Tayrona Viajero.

Only issue would be the A.C. it's typically in the corner so people in front of it freeze whereas the people furthest may sweat at night. Also they turn it off from 11am-6pm I believe so if you want to nap during the day it can be difficult if you don't like heat. Room isn't unbearably hot but warm enough to be sweaty and uncomfortable.

Loved it has a lift which is handy for people with mobility restrictions. Dayana the receptionist being nurse as well rescued my life ;-). Inés and Sheerlin were also very nice. The private room is rather small, but the bed was comfortable & ended up liking my room as much as the spots to lay on the sun at the rooftop terrace !!

Food was very disappointing and there is not too many options for restaurants as the hostel is not in the central area. Also, if you have food intolerance they don’t give you the chance to modify your dish. Even if you want a piece of lettuce on your burger instead the cheese, they will make you pay for a piece of lettuce. Quite annoying tbh ! Letting it apart, I had a nice stay. Thanks guys

Nice hostel in Santa Marta. Locker below the bed - can fit a smaller backpack. Available to keep my stuff before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast was not included in my reservation but I bought it and it was tasty and good portion.

Pub crawl tour that was starting at the hostel sucked. We went to empty bars and very, very poor drinks. It cost 50.000 COP (around 13.5 USD) but even that was too much for what we got. I would prefer a more expensive option but with better drinks. Also, the hostel wasn’t really doing anything to connect small groups - we were all the time separated.

We had an AMAZING STAY, we were supposed to stay one night but ended up extending it to 6 nights! We booked a twin bedroom, super comfy, AC, clean, everything needed was here and there are also loads of activities at the hostel to meet others viajeros. 🤙 I couldn’t find anything to improve. Big thanks to Ines and Camilla, such smily humans,friendly, attentive to your needs, and helpful regarding the activities if you’re wondering where to go and how to, this stay wouldn’t have been the same without you ❤️ Also thank you to Roxy on the rooftop you’re a sunshine 🌞

We liked this hostel as a stopover before going into Tayrona national park. We bookend 4-bed dorm and got a 6-bed dorm just for us which was great. Each bed has a curtain for some privacy and the room had a bathroom and air conditioning. The hostel is great and feels like a hotel with several floors of rooms, a rooftop terrace with bar, music, and a pool as well as a nice restaurant on the ground floor. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! Their English was probably the best we've heard during our trip which was great. They offered us a storage room for our big backpacks while we went overnight to Tayrona. The location is not right in the city center but only a short walk from it. Since we were 4 we dared to walk the short way at night after dinner in town. For solo travelers it could be worth to take a taxi although it is just a really short way. All in all nothing to complain!

Very clean, staff were great. Food in the restaurant nice and reasonably priced. I stayed in a private room which was a perfect size for one with a large suitcase. Had both fan and air con which were very much utilised. Was able to store luggage for a night while I went to Minca.

It’s not in the centre of Santa Marta but I didn’t need to be as I was using it as base to and from. It would be nice if they provided a water filter to refill bottles rather than just sell them - Even if room temp.

We loved our stay in Viajero! The staff was super friendly and helpful, we had a private room and bathroom that were clean and comfortable and all the main parts were so fun! The cafe/restaurant is the cutest place and their food is sooooo good! We loved the breakfast, probably the best one in a hotel/hostel I've had so far! The pool is very nice and much needed in the heat and there are so many places to sunbathe and chill. The bar on the roof is also very fun. They are always taxis parked in front if you need and also you can just park your car in front of the hostel, which was really handy for us. Will miss it lots even!

This is the best place to be in Medellin for a party and safety. The staff are great too and make you feel welcome, which is so important. Even if you can't afford it or it is full, you can always visit and enjoy an evening cocktail or 10 on the rooftop.

General rule in Medellin: Be careful when going out to the clubs especially if you're a man. The local girls are 80% working and will likely drug you and steal your money. Always take precaution with money. The hostel is safe but when walking around at night look out for each other. And stay away from Tinder.

Rooftop is epic! Good spot to meet people. Restaurant is very handy to not have to get out and there are plugs for laptops. Very popular large place with lots of places to chill. Helpful staff. Felt very safe because other people with laptop. Shared bathroom was ok clean.

Honestly, I went for dorms but like ANY DORM, be aware people might turn on the light at 1AM, and then you hear alarm at 6AM, that makes it quite a short sleep : / I thought by choosing 6 bed female dorms, girls would be more mindful, but not really.. But that is the case of ANY DORM.
