Everything! As previously mentioned it was an oasis of quiet and calm near to the centre of Jaco but far enough away. We had the pool to ourselves every day as we preferred it to the beach. We loved listening to and watching all the birds including scarlet macaws ( which are very noisy!!) A possom wandered past whilst we were sitting on our patio one night, and there are 3 resident iguanas! Our hostess Delphine was very kind and always around if we needed help. A wonderful end to our trip to Costa Rica!

There were only 2 sunbeds which was not a problem because it was so quiet. It would have been nice to have somewhere to hang wet clothes. It would have been nice to have an English TV channel. But these are only very minor...

Clean and comfortable room in a lovely lush garden setting. We could see macaws from our window and saw a toucan and an iguana in the garden! It’s in a quiet part of town, which we enjoyed. The pool was really big although we didn’t get to use it as much as we wanted as the weather wasn’t great. The terrace is quite big so we could sit out even in the rain. Delphine was very kind and helpful, and super responsive.

It would have been nice to have some basic crockery (a couple of bowls, plates and cutlery) in the room. There is no kitchenette but sometimes we wanted to make lunch or a snack from what we had in the fridge.

This place is very special the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much, the room was so clean and comfortable and spacious, the garden was beautiful we saw so many birds, and the humming birds each morning were a delight. The pool was lovely. We were so sad to leave and if we come back to Jaco we will be back.

The only thing I would say is that it would be nice to have a few more beds by the pool

We loved our stay! The room is spotless clean and very spacious. We loved Delphine who welcomes you and is a lovely woman. The rooms are very well maintained. The pool is very clean and the WiFi works well I loved being woken up by scarlet macaw parrots. It was a very safe residential area and we slept very well because the area is so quiet!

Our hostess, Delfin, was amazing and kind. The housekeeper was also extremely good and creative. I loved that it was just 10 spacious rooms and a lovely pool that felt like our own personal space. It was also walking distance to the beach and downtown.

Only that maybe the bed was a bit firm for my liking.

A beautiful studio, with a great share pool. The place looks beautiful. The host was lovely. There is a kitchen, living room and a beautiful bathroom. The location is great. A few minutes walk from the heart of Jaco. In the middle of everything. Yes very quiet and feels isolated.

No breakfast, but coffee was available every morning. ALL the staff were so accommodating

We really appreciated having air conditioning. The unit was quiet and effective. Our only MINOR complaint is that the unit was above the side of the bed, blowing the cold air across our heads at night. Would be better above the head of the bed, blowing down towards the base of the bed, or away from the bed altogether.

The pool area was lovely and the Jackson, our host was very accommodating.

There was a plumbing issue caused by the people before me that took some time to resolve. No fault of the hosts - more a supply issue - but I had to wait for some time to get access to my room. In the end, I was able to negotiate a late checkout, which turned out to be a great silver lining to the experience.

Breezy common areas, including the pool. My room was spotless and beautiful with a comfortable bed, a coach I used more than expected and a stone shower in the bathroom. Just a few blocks from an Internet cafe and a fruteria with amazing fresh smoothies.

the walk to the beach and center is a little long but not a problem

It’s a very nice villa with everything you need to feel comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommended. I plan to come back one day.
