We liked the included breakfast, just wished it would be more interesting. The breakfast is served by the restaurant on site. Basically, very day you have the same option: eggs with rice and bean, fruit bowl or French toast. There is also milk and cereal, juices (I liked their green juice a lot) and coffee. Breakfast is served on a beautiful shaded patio next to the pool. The breakfast is served from 8 to 10. I asked to have breakfast at 7, as we were leaving to the airport (the restaurant opens at 6), but was refused. No a big loss :-) We liked the shaded pool. Didn't like the mosquitos next to the pool, that come from the greenery. But there are ways t deal with the, We liked the kitchen in our room and the washer and dryer. Not sure the kitchen is equipped for serious cooking, but you can definitely make a decent simple meal there. The hotel is 15 min away from the beach. Numerous supermarkets nearby. We really enjoyed the closeness to the Sabrress restaurant.

No serious complaints overall.

It's a nice hotel, nice art on the walls, clean rooms, well appointed

They charge as $250 deposit upfront, and charge it to the credit card in case of "damages" and for the restaurant, which I didn't use aside from the included breakfast. What bothered me is that it took 5 days for the $250 to be returned to my account. I know that's a bank thing (the 5 days), but the $250 deposit is harsh and rude; i understand Jaco is a "party town" and Oceano has to cover their asses for rowdy clients, but I did not like the deposit thing, and am not going back. I go to tons of hotels for work all over Costa Rica, and none of them do that.

The front desk lades and gent are the BEST!!! The Breakfast staff and girls there are AWESOME!! The house cleaners are great to our needs!The free Breakfast is a huge plus for us and a reason we choose this place to stay. used the pool everyday..very nice!

Just some suggestions for owners of the condo's that have kitchen It would be nice to have paper towels and tissue's My wife had a cold and we had to ask for xtra toilet paper several times. I'm sure they thought WOW they POOP alot!! LOL The A/C unit in 28 on third floor did not cool. They charged it but still did not cool. We got stuck in the elevator twice, once with a worker who had a radio and once by ourselves but rang bell and was helped.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, the staff was very kind and attentive, the location is good - not in the center of the city, so you don't hear the noise in night, but close enough to beach, so you can walk. The pool is very good maintained and not very crowded. The small pool at the balcony was an extra plus.

I only wish the breakfast was more adjusted to European standards, but I understand that Europeans are not the majority of guests.

Breakfast was good. Hotel was good. Staff were friendly.

Do not book the airport transfer with the hotel as the travel company sent a very poor, very small, not fit for purpose car. It was not big enough for the cases, had no air con and I didn't feel safe on the roads. The journey time was over three hours (in comparison to the return 1.5 hours with a different company).

These are full size apartments, not hotel rooms, all facilities available, full kitchen, washer/dryer etc.... loved it. Plenty of space to hang out, work, lovely balconies. I'm not usually a 'pool area' person but it was really chilled out, nice sunbeds, drinks service, i can't fault it at all! Staff were lovely and didn't mind my pigeon Spanish. It's only a 5min walk to the main avenue with bars/restaurants etc so you are nearby without dealing with the noise etc. Plenty of parking with security 24/7. Would definitely stay here again! This is the best hotel in town and close to everything. Comparisons are meaningless because there is nothing better or even comparable.

Every room has a balcony and from the balcony you can literally see into everyone's rooms. If you want privacy keep the shades down (so like don't expect to wake up to a sunrise).

We loved the pool, also the fact that a restaurant and bar were onsite. It was very comfortable and easy to just 'lounge about' without being hurried or rushed. The late checkout was very helpful as we slept in!

No security was onsite after 11PM. We had a problem with some guest being VERY loud and called all 3 numbers supplied for 'security'. No one every answered. We were told by the lady at the desk that there was no security available when we called at 11:30PM.

Excellent, efficient and friendly service especially from the reception - Johan and Daniella are amazing and went out of their way to assist me!! The pool area is really pretty and the bed is comfortable. The pictures on the website don't do the hotel justice! It's prettier and has more facilities.

It is a 10-15minute walk from the beach - but it is also not necessary to be on Jaco's Beachfront, as the Beachfront is not the safest area. Some areas of the room could be better cleaned but that is also nit-picking!

The room was spacious, however, we upgraded after a week to a Pool room. which was on the balcony. Absolutely Loved it. Exercise in the pool downstairs in the morning< and refreshing cool pool in the afternoon on the balcony. It was amazing. You could not ask for more in a hotel. We loved our stay. The staff are wonderful. The Manager Alexandra was amazing as well, very helpful. It was a full apartment, with a kitchen, refrigerator, stove, microwave. If you wanted to cook You could. Pali grocery store is minutes away, Maxi Mennos ( Walmart) is a 15 minute walk on the main strip. The main Pool downstairs was amazing, with a side jacuzzi and little huts for shade, as well as beautiful lounge chairs. If you don't want to cook, you can order with confidence from the restaurant in the hotel, everything was delicious. The breakfast is included and spectacular choices. As far as we were concerned it was all first class, the service, the staff and the apartment. We loved our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel. The cleaning is done daily. you have a choice of the time it is done. They cater to your every desire. We even washed our clothes before coming back, as there is a washer and dryer in the apartment, you just have to buy detergent that's it.

My husband had a difficult time with the tv programs, as even though I was able to switch the channel to English all the commercials were in Spanish and he has alzheimer so it was annoying for him. But that has no reflection on the hotel. Although it would e nice if the tv is set up for us before hand, as I had a difficult time finding out how to switch the language bit.
