The property was very beautiful. There were many trees around. The pool was right in front of the rooms. The trees made the property cool inside. The staff was very friendly and courteous with everyone. The food was good, the rooms were clean, the beds were soft, and so were the pillows. Overall, the stay was perfect. The only inconvenience we had was that the bathroom floor was not non-slip, which caused me to fall sideways and hit my hip. We reported it to reception, and they were super attentive. The hotel manager introduced herself, even took me to a clinic, and they covered all the medical expenses for the X-ray examination. While waiting for the results, the hotel manager was really friendly, talking with us, sharing about his family and life. We also shared about ourselves and mentioned that we were traveling for my mom's birthday. Fortunately, nothing was broken or fractured, but I was left in with pain, they took care as well of the medication I was prescribed and they also took care of providing dinner. The next day, they sent a birthday cake to my mother, which was very nice. Everything, the food, the employees, and the cleanliness were excellent. We are just hoping that they consider putting something non-slip in the bathrooms to prevent the accident from happening again. But overall, the staff and the manager were super attentive and caring about what happened, making the accident and the scare from it less significant due to the attention we received from them.

This hotel is located next to many US and local restaurants, has its own restaurant and bar, and off of hwy for easy access. Staff doesn’t speak English so beware if not bilingual. Nice locked parking lot. Rooms were fine, food and drinks good, staff nice, pools nice. The town itself is pretty sketchy, don’t recommend walk alone or at night or too far from hotel. Overall I recommend this hotel for it’s convenient location, rooms, price, value.

Rooms a little dated, walls very thin but seems to be very common in this country. Not for light sleepers.

We were there for four nights. The room was simple and plain, but very clean. The bed was comfortable. The pool area was great. Nice pool surrounded by lush plants. Small pool for the kids and a whirlpool. The breakfast which was included was good with fresh fruit and hot dishes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had ice packs that had to stay frozen and and the staff were great with this as I swapped every day. Recommend the mojitos at the restaurant! There are lots of restaurants within walking distance; both fast-food and local cuisine. We would go back to this hotel if we were to return to Liberia.

The furniture is banged up and balcony furniture uncomfortable but a nice balcony. Hot water was iffy if there was a crowd. Can get very busy and loud early in the evening but does get quieter later on. There are some bugs as the doors are not sealed but we are not bothered by them, part of the hot south. People complained about the street noise but we could hear very little from our room.

Great start to our honeymoon! The hotel grounds are beautiful. The hotel is close to nearby shops and restaurants and easy to walk into town. A good first place to stop after flying into Liberia airport. Although the hotel is on the edge of the city by a busy road, it doesn't affect your stay at all - you can't even tell once you're sitting on the balcony looking through the lush vegetation at the pool, which gives a nice foretaste of what the rest of the country is like. The place has a very authentic feel to it. The staff very much appreciate you attempting to speak Spanish. We really enjoyed the food here, great gallo pinto. Would definitely recommend.

We liked everything about this place!

Staff were extremely kind and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was very good, including breakfast that was included. I just needed one night prior to my flight so I wanted a place with a nice pool and this hotel's pool area is a beautiful oasis in the city. I was very pleased. And the rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, quiet at night. Had a great sleep and stay.

Would be nice to have a small fridge in the room.

It was great to have use of the pool and the hot water for making bedtime drinks. Good location for getting access to Rincon Park and the beaches around the west coast

The security in the hotel was good but the area has huge deprivation problems. Constant hassle from beggars and concerns regarding theft of which we were victims at one of the nearby beaches.

The courtyard was the selling point. It was amazing to hear the birds, and the sounds of the water feature. The trees and pools made it feel like an oasis in the city. I appreciated the excellent security for the rental car. There is a great restaurant across the street and a grocery store nearby. Super close to the airport but nice to be in more of authentic setting.

The bed linens were clean but a bit tired.

The restaurant and pool were very nice. The traditional breakfast included was also very good. In room safe was a bonus.

It was difficult to communicate with the desk staff. I realize we are in a foreign country but at least being able to communicate with front desk staff is important to us. Getting help with directions and simple requests like finding a store or atm we’re impossible. Rooms could also use an ice bucket, not a plastic pitcher. The ice melts way too fast!

We spent 2 nights here and the location was great. The room was very comfortable with relaxing chairs to sit outside the room. Breakfast included personalized omolettes and fresh fruit. The restaurant food was excellent. My casado with beef was the best I have had and the chicken soup was so tasty. The waitress was so kind. A great place to stay as we had to be at the airport at 4:30am.

Sorry but I cannot think of anything that I did not like.

Everything was great, we loved how fresh the hotel is, from the combination of trees throughout the property, the pool in the middle of the courtyard and the layout of the hotel creating a noticeable drop in temperature from the heat in Liberia in this time of the year. It was a great place to get away for the week, and there are great restaurants around, we highly recommend eating at Sabor Porteño for dinner, the food was amazing and fairly priced for the quality of food you receive. The following morning we had the included breakfast which was great as well. For lunch we ate at Foodnication, another great find. The value of this hotel is amazing, a great place to stop at if you're in Costa Rica, or if you're just looking to get away for a weekend and you're already down here. Looking forward to coming back.

Please powerwash or retile the slide, everything else was great. We would have used it if it werent for its appearance.
