Well cared for family run hotel, nice pool area. The buildings had a nice look to them, and unlike most places, they have ample parking and even covered parking!!. Plenty of hot water! AC! The best thing were the people. Dwight definitely knows how to take care of things that you may need. I prefer family businesses for this reason!

There was anything negative that affected my stay.

Hotel la arena was the perfect place for our final stay in Costa Rica. Raphael and his son Dwight were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool area in the beautiful garden. The room was exceptionally clean with comfortable beds. Dwight drove us to the airport and I left one of my suitcases in his car. He contacted me about the suitcase and was kind enough to turn around and bring my suitcase into the airport. I defend recommend this hotel.

Relaxing, friendly, interesting landscaping, pet friendly.

difficult to find from the direction of Libiria. A message to people ahead with exact directions would help. Would have liked some English speaking channels on the TV.

The owner went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! The pool was clean and refreshing!

ff member provided invaluable and generous help in setting up our mobile phone SIM cards and data plans. Incredibly helpful as he talked to the agent, in Spanish, over the phone.and even used his own account to transfer our funds for more data.

Watertemperature during shower was a bit cool.

The owner Dwight is an amazing host and went above and beyond to help us in a time of need. He personally drove me back to the airport and helped me navigate getting my lost suitcase back. Even stopped at a grocery store because I mentioned I needed to get water and juice for my kids. He's a generous, wonderful guy who cares about his clients like friends. I will stay there again in a heartbeat just to hang out. We should have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful pool! Next time.

It was the perfect accommodation for the last night before the flight back home. Huge room, comfortable beds, good facilities, nice pool, big shower. Also Dwight was super friendly and even turned on the massage jets in the pool for us on the last day :)

The accommodation was a bit outside the center, but for us it was okay. For little money you could take a cab to the center.

Great family run motel. The father and son team went out of there way to be helpful, calling taxis for us and helping with all of our questions about area attractions etc. The property is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. 5 out of 5

Everything was great!! We are staying another two nights and coming back next week!

tHE GROUNDS WERE BEAUTIFUL, SHOWED TASTE AND HARD WORK. pOOL WAS JUST RIGHT. tHERE WERE PUPPIES AND WE SAT OUT IN THE COOL OF THE EVENING NEXT TO THEIR AVIARY AND TALKED. yOU WOULD NEED A CAR. iT'S 7 KM TO lIBERIA. tHEY DO SO SAY IT'S VERY HOT, THOUGH. mY DOG WAS WELCOME AND THERE WAS AND OUTDOOR KITCHEN AND TABLES FOR FAMILIES TO EAT.

cOSTA rICA IS HOT EVERYWHERE,

Super helpful staff! He tried to help us with transportation issues, tried to find the rental car office for us for our drop off, answeroany and all questions etc etc

No fault of the hotel, but access from Liberia requires driving 3km past to a u-turn location, then 3km back. Minor annoyance.
