Loved the location on an isolated beach, near end of road. We spotted lizards, parrots, macaws nearby. It's a very nice little hotel, staff is helpful and friendly. We ate breakfast and supper here too, chef did an amazing job.

Wear bug spray and don't leave your door or windows open because there are tiny flies you cannot see (noseems?). I think these are a problem in many areas of Costa Rica.

the beach, the pool area, the pool table, the games in the common area were fine... the breakfast was really average but it was fine for the price paid.

I didn't like that it was too dark in some green areas, making it kind of dangerous to walk by at night, I hit a rock with my foot, nothing to worry about, but it can be a little dangerous, more lights in the beach so you can hang around would be a good idea

Beautiful setting literally on the beach! Lovely landscaping, with garden paths filled with butterflies. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfasts and great bar. Gorgeous ocean; we could always hear the beautiful sound of ocean waves and interesting birds. The staff was amazing; accommodating all our needs and providing great communication.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

I worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years and I honestly couldn't believe the quality, the level of service and the location of Tranquilidad Resort. Located on a very quiet strip of land full of palm trees, this resort is only a 7 bungalows property with a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, BBQ area, pool and ping pong table . 1 min walk from our bungalow was a 10 miles beautiful sandy beach full of palm trees. The staff is incredibly helpful & friendly, thank you Javier & Andrea for your hospitality. We stayed there with a larger group 6 adults and 7 kids and honestly lived in paradise for 10 days.

Leaving

The stay was great. The manager and staff were all nice and willing to make our trip pleasant. A/C, hot shower, cooking facilities, fridge. A little off the beaten path. If you have a car, no worries. If you take a bus to Parrita make sure to purchase your ticket for the next leg of you journey before going to the hotel. The food at the hotel is alright, but you will want variety before long. There is not a restaurant within walking distance(for most) and any other facilities are in Parrita (bank, shopping etc). El Tucan soda was a very good eating spot in Parrita.The beach is near and you can hear the waves. I don't think this is a hot spot for beach goers, so if you want a little privacy, this may be your spot!

The remoteness w/o car.

almost everything! good a/c and fan, working fridge, perfect location: on one side the ocean, on the other side mangroves, most beautiful sunsets, nice pool, idyllic garden, facilities for pastimes like pool, table tennis or basketball, on site restaurant, lots of birds, iguanas and friendly dogs, helpful and friendly staff e.g. was offered a fresh coconut by the gardener

they could offer a wider variety of drinks, I‘m sure guests would appreciate and spend more money in the restaurant! the room interior seems a little bit outdated, but it was fine!

Stayed in a bungalow the rooms are simple but immaculately clean and the service was phenomenal. We were brought dinner to our room. We only stayed for one night but ended up staying down the road at another house because we loved the beach so much. Steven was excellent.

Balcony offered a nice view of the ocean. Great variety of activities - swimming pool, pool table, walk on the beach, table-top games.

Long road to get there - challenging in pouring rain, but that my problem, not on the accommodation.

The service is very good, the restaurant is very good ( we are a whole fish there). The rooms are old but functional. The best is the location, non turistic, one of the longest beach. You need a car , there is nothing around, which is perfect.

The mattress need to be replaced.

It is a nice little resort with fantastic staff, especially Sylvia. Facilities are a bit dated now. Good for a day or two or relaxing stay away for hustle bustle if the town. Nice mangroves and fishing experience close by
