This place is amazing. Beautiful. Quiet. Well staffed. The food was good! The place is clean. The staff were sooo friendly and attentive. The pools are great and the property is literally on the beach. The beach is very calm (basically no waves). This is not a party place (mainly quiet and families or couples). The room we stayed in was basic but clean. Our room didn’t have a functioning shower but we worked around it….that was my only complaint.

I recently stayed at CC Beach Front Papagayo All Inclusive, and I can't say enough about their fantastic pet-friendly policy. From the moment we checked in, our furry friend was treated like a VIP. The hotel provided a cozy house in our room for our dog to relax in, which was such a thoughtful touch. Additionally, the fenced area they have for dogs is just perfect—our pups loved having a safe space to explore and play. It's clear that CC Beach Front Papagayo All Inclusive goes the extra mile to make sure pets feel as welcome as their human guests. We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning. If you're traveling with your dog, this is the place to be!

Great location, gorgeous sunsets, very friendly and attentive staff, food was very good with a pretty nice variety of items, especially considering the small size of the resort. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the wildlife including the resident howler monkeys. Large property with small resort means plenty of room to spread out and no crowds, no waiting, no lines! It was quiet! We will happily come here again!

There were some areas closed (sports bar) due to renovations. Would have been nice to catch a few games in the evening if it had been available. But not a big deal. If you are looking for a party, go elsewhere. If you are looking for quiet relaxation without crowds, this is the perfect spot.

We rented an Airbnb in Playa Hermosa for a week. I have two teenage daughters who wanted to mix it up a bit and try an all inclusive. CC Beach Front Papagayo was right down the street. We decided to try it for two nights and it was a great idea! We enjoyed taking a break from grocery shopping and cooking and it was nice to have the option of the resorts two large pools and gated beach front property. The meals that were served at the resort were full of variety and we enjoyed the ice cream and candy bar. We used the paddle boards and kayaks at the resort and took advantage of the large volleyball court in front of our room. We are glad that we made the choice to spend a couple of days at the resort before returning to our Airbnb for the last night.

Breakfast was lovely, the jazz music and fresh coffee were wonderful and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The sheets and the beds were lovely and comfortable and the air conditioning was much appreciated. The meals were very costa rican and I loved that. There's snacks which the kitchen will make whatever the time of day.

We found out we had to stay overnight in San Jose due to flight issues but I was made to pay for the hotel night anyway, despite giving a month's notice, I felt this could have been waivered as they weren't full so it wasn't a case that someone else was turned away. The grounds and maintenance are tired, but, we later found out that the whole place had been under water from the rainfall and flooding and if this happens every year it is understandable. We had a scorpian in my suitcase, there's a massive gap under the door, so this could be better.

The grounds are beautiful. The buffet was plentiful and very good. The staff was wonderful. Pool areas and pool bars were lovely as well. Wifi was strong everywhere on property. Drinks were great!!!

The place is a bit dated and rooms dark. The elaborate old chandeliers could be exchanged with a large fan with dim able light? Our first room leaked and we were quickly moved with apologies. The roof work started the next day so obviously some worked is planned for the quiet season. Which is good as this place has so much potential. It rained most of our stay and things to do were lacking when this happens. An addition of a lounge/ game room might help during the rainy season. I thought the price was very high for the basic lodging. Privacy between patios would be great.

Wow! This place was all I expected and then some! From check in to check out I have never stayed at a resort with such helping, kind and genuine staff. They totally went out of their way to make your stay a successful and rememberable vacation. From Alphonso the manager to Joseph, Christina, Jordan and our bartender Dennis everyone was great and happy to make your stay special! The dining and kitchen staff were wonderful. Housekeepers went above and beyond their duties. We will definitely be returning in the future.

For what little we watched TV the picture was not very clear and sharp. Not sure if satellite or cable. But if that’s the worst, no complaints!

--The food was great--much better than expected. I was concerned that being buffet and all inclusive might mean lower quality, but that was not the case. --Very friendly and accommodating staff. Proficiency in English varies, but remember you are in a Spanish language country! --Both pools - one salt water, one chlorine - are large and have swim up bars. Larry at the chlorine pool makes the best mojitos, ever! Some good mid-shelf brand alcohol available, unlike some all exclusives that only have the cheapest brands. --It's a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. There were diverse guests and it was fun to meet different nationalities. --It felt very safe and secure. --Easy access to the beach/bay. Beach chairs are included in the resort amenities, as are kayaks & I think paddle boats, but we didn't use any of those. --It's a smaller resort, so everything is close by. You don't have to take a shuttle or walk any long distances. --You must book a zip line tour while you are in Costa Rica. It is a blast! --Everything in the mini-frig is included in the resort cost - and they replenish every day! --Daily housekeeping provided, which you can opt out of if you prefer. --Overall, a great value for the money. High quality accommodations, excellent food and beverage for a very reasonable rate.

--You can skip the sit-down restaurant. They were out of many of the menu items, and honestly what food we did order off the menu was not as good as the food we ate off the buffet. --Of the four beds in the two rooms we reserved, three beds were plush and comfy, one not as much. So you may want to give the beds a "sit-down" before accepting the room, or ask for rooms with newer mattresses. --Stick with excursions thru the resort or verified websites like Viator. One of our guests booked a fishing excursion off a random website, and ended up being charged more than was quoted.

Needed better lighting in our room for reading. I had inquired the front desk about the cost for staying another night due to snow predicted in our final destination of Boston. Was told they would look into iI.. Later that day I got a What's App message saying the cost would be $900. Got a second message saying my flight had been canceled. I checked with Delta & the flight was not canceled. That upset me & I did make the front desk aware of it at checkout

We loved this resort and plan to visit again. The beach is gorgeous and perfect for long walks with soft volcanic sand. It’s dark because it’s pulverized lava rock, similar to beaches in Hawaii. The water is warm with good visibility and calm waves. The pools are large and have swim up bars. We saw lots of wildlife, including monkeys and parrots that are native to the area. The grounds are well kept and have a serene feeling. We enjoyed every meal and found plenty of vegetarian and pescatarian options. Even my picky children looked forward to eating. The staff goes out of their way to help with requests. Tours are available by booking at the resort or at the beach through a private service. Beachfront massages are available and are divine. They also have a little sports bar and held a party for the Super Bowl. That was a great surprise for us.

Lighting in our room was dim. This made it difficult to see inside the closet. We wish the resort would post hours for kayak and paddle board rentals or share this information at check in. Sign up ends earlier than expected - however, rentals are free with your stay.
