We enjoyed the cleanliness of the pool and the rooms, even though they are very old and outdated, they felt overall clean. The restaurant nearby is adequate. Please keep in mind if you are traveling to there, it is for lower to middle income, traveling families. Lots of noises, lots of random barbecues and Glass near the pool, the next day. It looks like a frat house party was there. Nice place if you like that kind of vibe. The beach is just a short five minute walk. The location was great yet there are nonstop motorcycles, and fake off-road revving their engines in front of the hotel. The gardening is beautiful.

The beds are absolutely uncomfortably squeaky. As I mentioned in the positive comment, a special crowd of people go to this type of hotel/resort. It is loud, it is a free for all with no rules being followed. It’s mayhem, but has a comfortable Cleanliness to it. The staff is not very pleasant and they are very forgetful of what you booked, if you have free breakfast or not, and most of them have less a fair look and attitude. Don’t expect to get pool towels , don’t expect a smile, you are there to enjoy the nice pool and to get a nice night sleep on an uncomfortable bed.

The location was excellent. Very near the the best beach for wave jumping and body surfing. Beautiful beach. Staff was great. Very kind. Several people spoke fluent English. There were a few restaurant options without having to drive but the busier tourist beach was only a 13 min. Drive away if that's your thing. The pool got a little loud for me over the weekend and went all day from morning until 10pm. But during the week it was quieter. Just a heads up for those sensitive to noise. There was a nice security gate for parking. Highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was good had different options. Loved the large pool the best. I don't swim so the pool wasn't extremely deep. Location is perfect next to grocery store and a pizza shop which was handy and delicious. Shower has hot water. Highly recommend staying here.

I didn't like the lounging chairs. Very hard and uncomfortable. They need to put some padding on them or exchange for something better. I could not use my safe because the key was lost. They need to replace so next customer can use this service. Thank you.

Great location close to the beach. Pools were beautiful, with lots of room for everyone. Breakfast was good, but expensive for what's included. Loved that rooms were close to the pool with front private tables and chairs to sit outside. Weak shower but did the job. Kitchen was well stocked with almost everything needed to prep your own meals. Walls thin to outside noise, but mostly quiet area after 9pm so not an issue.

We pretty much loved everything about it. We stayed in villa 20, the villa was well equipped and would be perfect for a long stay. The villa has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is perfect for a family or two couples. We had breakfast included. The restaurant, Coco Viquez served a good Tico style buffet breakfast and the breakfast was very good. The pool and the grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The location is great. There are two restaurants nearby, including a take out pizza restaurant and there are many others within walking distances. There is a small mercado next door that contained the basic necessities.

I can honestly say there wasn't anything we didn't like.

Excellent accomadations and excellent price .... very very inexpensive Love the swimming pool, most friendliest and helpfull accomodating staff ever!! Centrally located near about 30 different Playas, rainforest, water holes, rivers, and best best of all we got to see the MONKEYS in the natural environment !!! THey are out all morning and evening !! Loved this place indeed !!! Our first time ever .....sorry I have not downloaded my pics yet ..... but would love to share if allowed to add later

Great pool and sunbathing area. A <5 min walk to the beach. Had some time to kill between check out and check in to my next stop and had no problem with me lounging around the pool after I vacated the room. Just what I needed for the price. Not too much or too little.

While clean, the rooms are dated and you can see where some things are piecemealed like a very crudely installed shower head my bathroom for example. But again the price for what it was right and even slightly exceeded by expectations based on the photos.

Walking distance to the beach. Excellent pool on site. Great sized rooms with plenty of storage space and hooks for towels/ post beach wear. Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and receptive.

Not sure if it was the position of our room to the router but the WIFI was non existent in our room, but out in the common areas and pool it worked great. Not a ton of options for food in this area - couple of spots on the beach and a couple along the road.

The restaurant attached was great food and reasonable. The pool was awesome. Very close to beach and convenience store. Rooms had AC. security guarding vehicles all night so felt very safe. Had filtered drinking water. Pool was so close to our room so we could watch our baby on the monitor and swim.

Just a few minutes from the beach. One of just a few cafes around is part of the hotel and serves breakfast (pretty modest though). Big pool area (I didn't use).

Communication over Booking.com didn't work - I arrived earlier and couldn't arrange early check-in (or even baggage drop off) until I came to the hotel. Not too convenient, since I had to make a visit unsure whether I'll be able to check-in or just come to no avail. I got rejected (busy, no rooms) at first, but after some back and forth they found a room ) Not all staff speak at reception speak English. Not that they have to, just FYI.
