Great hotel close to the beach. Fantastic staff. Restaurant served good food and there was live music on a couple of nights that we were there. Nice, spacious and light room.

The bed and pillows were fantastic. We wanted to bring them home. The pool was great. It was right outside our room. Some shade available as it was very hot in March! It is located at the end of the beach far enough not to hear the beach music but an easy walk to those eateries. We were lucky enough to be there when there was music event. A Santana tribute band! They were fantastic! They seemed to have live music twice a week.

I found the cost for food was out of our budget range. It was a very classy atmosphere for dinner or you could go to the “lounge area”. Menu the same.

Beautiful place. Swimming pool was just outside our room so very convenient, there was a verandah/sitting area outside all the rooms which I liked very much. Lush beautiful surroundings in a very quiet area and very close to the beach

The staff were all so friendly, accommodating, and attentive! We particularly appreciated Jose the parking lot watch guard (such a sweet man), Randal the engaging bartender (makes a delicious jalapeno margarita!), and all the wait staff were so sweet and friendly. The two pools are relaxing and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Nice easy distance to the beach, but a little more effort to get to the other town amenities (restaurants, store)... You can walk, but it's either via the beach or a small path along a busy road. Oh, and the onsite restaurant has great food, every dish I tried was satisfying

I liked everything, but might recommend they offer options such as beach chair rentals, games (as part of their lending book library), etc.

Located in the quiet Playa Hermosa, 3 minutes from the beach, 10-15 from the town's restaurants (some local ones are good) by walking along the beach (it's dark so bring a torch. We felt safe walking, just look out for the howler monkeys :) ) The room was big enough, with AC and fans, and the bed comfy. Nice view of the pool and gardens, which was good to refresh in the hot temperatures. We didn't try the restaurant as it was out of our budget, but the breakfast was very good, better than at other places we stayed. The staff was nice, and they helped us book a sunset snorkeling tour, and amend it last minute too. Coco is 13 minutes driving, and has many more restaurants and shops. However, There's an ATM and minimarket close to the hotel too. It was fairly quiet when we went, and no live music.

The room was clean, had great lighting, and a beautiful view of the pool and courtyard! The area is very quiet, mostly hotels and some locals near the beach who seemed friendly enough (though I did not wander around at night). It's a very short walk to the beach and not much further to walk to a convenience store for necessities. There is also a bus stop nearby! The food in the hotel restaurant is fantastic and the waitstaff were absolutely a delight! There was also live music on Friday and Saturday night. It was the highlight of my evenings to stop by for dinner, read my book, and visit with the staff who were working that night. On the Oasis side of the property there is a security guard posted through the night overlooking the street, so I felt very safe. The staff were also willing to accommodate any requests no matter how strange - including when I came asking for vinegar for a large jellyfish sting on my leg! Finally, I don't normally mention the internet/wifi in hotels because they're normally pretty standard but this place is HEAVEN for someone who wants a great and fast connection. Each of their rooms (possibly only the Suites) has its own in-room router connected via ethernet so you get the fastest possible connection with zero potential interference from walls. I was getting 220 Mbps down and 22 Mbps up and had no issues with latency or disconnections.

My only suggestion would be a shelf or surface next to/in the shower in the rooms because there was nowhere to place any showering items and it can be a slip hazard for people to bend over to get things.

The staff is really wonderful here and made for a wonderful three days. I received outstanding customer service from Jose Santana. I had a technical situation with with my phone CR sim card provider, and not speak Spanish, so Jose graciously assisted me for over an hour, trying via phone, internet, chat, etc. to help figure out the problem. And later, while in town at Coco, we ran into him on his off hours, and he offered to assist us with another matter. We also enjoyed the made to order breakfast each morning with several choices. All served with the most lovely staff. The walk to the beach was an easy 5 minutes and we actually liked not having to deal with parking, etc. We found Hermosa beach to be much more quieter and therefore nicer than Coco.

The units are individually owned and equipped and ours unfortunately had no shade umbrella on the balcony. The sun can be pretty harsh, so we could not use the balcony during the day. At night it was possible to eat outside and relax there (if you have mosquito repellant during recent rain).

The staff is so helpful and kind, especially Leo. The restaurant was exceptional for dinner and breakfast. The pool at the Oasis properties is very clean and enjoyable. Location is only a short walk to the beach.

Our 2 bedroom suite, number 325, needs to be refreshed. The furniture is uncomfortable, bedding is worn, tv didn’t work, blinds need replacing. We learned that some of the units, like 325, are privately owned but managed by Villas del Sueno. So the owners are probably responsible for the contents. The photos shown online of Villa Del Suenos rooms look great, but it’s what you might get. Ours was disappointing.
