The location of the property makes you feel right in the middle of nature and the cabins and lobby are beautiful. All the staff is also extremely friendly and try their best to make your experience as great as possible. The rooms are quite big and the beds very comfortable also.

I guess the big one everyone should be aware of is that the wifi doesn't reach the cabins, you can only use it in the lobby and restaurant and they close up pretty early. We didn't mind as what we wanted was precisely to unplug and relax but for someone who needs to work or wants to steam movies at night it's something to consider and something to improve on. Also perhaps the tours could be a little clearer about what they are so people know what to expect from them, specially the Quetzal-watching one. Not that it's any fault of the hotel but they should make very clear what that entails.

I was very disappointed arriving, pitch dark and no internet. They moved me to a room close to the reception and I could use WIFI, a must coming here to look for birds to be able to use internet to check out the birds. After I got my WIFI it was 5 star. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection in the restaurant. They helped to book birding tours and I will stay here next time I am around. Very comfortable beds!

They must have WIFI in all the rooms or I wont come back. It say desk in the room description, but no desk. A round table which is useless working with bird pictures on my laptop top with the round edge of the table and you had no rest for your arms.

We loved the well-kept gardens and the pagoda and the hummingbird garden and the view from our cabina. And we loved Agniel, amazing tour guide.

the restaurant was bad and needs a lot of improvement, especially compared to the high standard in the restaurants around. There was no trout available and the staff claimed there were no trouts available in the entire area, which turned out not to be true. And the waiting time (for food) was too long. my mattress needed to be changed it was old and gave lower back pain, in the single bed (room 15)

Nice hotel at the end of the valley, so one is really in the middle of nature. Our room was nice and clean, the warm blankets were great for the cool nights and there was also an electric heater. The small road down the valley is a bit adventerous but no bigger obstacle for the car. We did a bird watching tour, our guide there - Johanna - was great. Her enthusiams for the birds was afectious. Also there were a lot of different bird to see. Close to the hotel one can hike to waterfalls which is also great.

The hotel itself it's very nice and the location is great, very near by the mountains. The staff is incredibly kind.

The one thing I didn't like is about their pets policy, where on their social media they indicate it's a pet friendly hotel and when I did the booking, there wasn't any information about extra cost for the pet or rules, but when we got there it turned out we had to pay extra $25 for our dog, which is not much and it's fine, but when we got to our room, they had a sign with the rules for pets, and it's very restrictive, the dogs can get into the beds, you need to bring blankets and your dog bed, so, why did we paid extra $25 if our dog can't do anything?

The room was perfect if you want to leave the word some time, no internet, no TV, its just you with the sound of the birds in the morning, or the crickets at night. The restaurant, was great. I love the tomato soup. The staff, they are so nice, really helpfull. You can also go hiking near the river, you can see some Quetzals (if you have luck) Its the perfect place to relax and connect with yourself or to connect with your partner, family or friends. Dont forget to bring some cozy clothes and snickers!!! You will love this place.

I didnt like that the restaurant closes to early.

Very comfortable, beautiful gardens, wonderful service, rustic and clean rooms, very quiet. Excellent tour services available, good food in the restaurant and the price wasn't too high for a hotel. Kevin in the restaurant was really excellent and made my stay very enjoyable.

The wifi does not reach the rooms. I understand it is quite far in the wilderness, but as I'm trying to unwind and escape a little, it would be nice to be able to utilize Internet services in the room which had a nice table to sit at. I could stay here longer if I could get a little bit of work done during the days. It was nice anyways for a quick retreat and it was easy to sleep early in the evening without distractions. With the internet being so strong at the service desk, it seems you could find a way to amplify it to add the service to the rooms.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant service was very good and the food great. Very good value for money

There is no wifi in the rooms and some mobile carriers do not have coverage, although I guess that surrounded by all that nature, you can also appreciate a little bit of disconnection

The staff Luis, Michael, Ricardo and Arturo are very kind and helpful, always with gentle words and smiles! The bed sheets are extremely confortable and clean! There is a heater available and we used every day! Beautiful garden!!! Guanabana juice is The best!

Breakfast: you choose one option, a bowl of fruits, pancakes or eggs with bread! You can’t combine anything or change. Sometimes you want fruits and bread with eggs and it was not possible.

The staff was amazing, very kind and lovely. Breakfast about fine, 3 options and good portions, lunch very delicious and dinner was perfect near to fire pit. The room was spacious and very clean... but I would love to have more privacy. I am not a fan of party wall. Impeccable gardens good parking lot. And near to attractions as watter falls. I will love to go back again. By the way, pet friendly.
