Best place we have ever stayed, not just in Costa Rica, but anywhere. Hard to know where to start but the view is truly stunning. There are so many animals you can see - birds of ALL types, agoutis, monkeys, peccaries, coatis. They all come to the grounds and you can see them from your room often. It is also very close (100 metres) from a fantastic animal sanctuary. The food is fantastic and also the pool. And on top of this. The staff. Legendary! Casey, Jorge and every other person was absolutely lovely. Friendly, helpful, thoughtful and caring. On top of that, Roger - the manager - was just AMAZING. He helped us so much. And when we got hit by another car on the main road, he drove from the hotel with our passports to the Emergency Room and then spent over two hours with us - sorting things out with the care centre, the car rental company and the car rentals insurers. I speak Spanish, but Roger knows what to say and to whom. After all that, he took us in his car back to the hotel! Excellent place, excellent people, excellent value.

We would like to have stayed another week, but it was fully booked - and no surprise!

The location has an amazing view on the ocean. Food in the restaurant was good. I got a big villa with one bedroom for myself. It had also a fully equipped kitchen. It was clean and spacious.

Maybe I was still a bit of season, but the bar and restaurant was closing around 6:30 in the evening. The room I stayed and the furniture there was a bit dated. Still ok, but I think an Update would make this place match its exceptional location.

Spectacular views and friendly staff The villas were large and spacious Food in the restaurant and breakfast was fantastic and reasonably priced The receptionist could not have been more friendly and helpful and she booked all of our excursions for us. The animal sanctuary next door is well worth a visit and is a great charity to support.

The road up to the villas was very steep and bumpy and requires a 4x4 car

The pool area is incredible. While the pool itself is not very large, it is very well maintained & clean & perfect for a swim after sitting in the sun on the deck. The view here is probably one of the best I've ever seen from a hotel pool/lounge area. Stunning!

Maybe they could improve the road to drive up to the hotel. I can't imagine what the drive up would be like during the rainy season. You probably could not make it without a 4-wheel drive vehicle during the wet season.

What a beautiful setting amazing views of ocean whales tale and jungle. Rooms are so spacious with lovely verandahs and a wooden hut area to watch sun setting. Food is divine and service is great. What a beautiful place.

Road to access hotel needs to be improved but this is not hotels issues more of a costa tics issue,

Million dollar views from our two bedroom villa. The villa was right next to the pool but it’s a small enough property that no one was very loud and it made for a great view. The restaurant was fantastic as well and their free breakfast is a la cart with lots of options

It’s a rough road to get up there and very steep, but they were grating it as we left. Might be tough for someone with a little low ride car.

10/10 Hotel. Everything was truly perfect. super spacious rooms, a pool with a view, nicest staff (with the best beach recommendations) and great food. Extra: You can see sensational sunsets with a cocktail right next to the hotel. We stayed there for two nights and enjoyed every second. 1000 % recommendation!

Most stunning views clean spacious apartment for an excellent price including gorgeous healthy breakfast AND amazing coffee. the staff super helpful friendly and Jorge at the bar restaurant does an excellent service and the food is Great ! all you may wish for in one place. ahhh and i forgot the pool we are definitely BACK SOON !

Amazing staff, views, villas. Super happy with our stay and would 100% do it again. This is a hidden gem for sure. Best views in town.

Nice hotel with spectacular view. The pool is tiny (looks bigger in the pictures) but still good for a refreshing dip. The restaurant is good but not exceptional.

The rooms and bathrooms were past their prime.
