If you were every trying to decide between going to the TUI Blue Adriatic Beach and this one which is just a few kilometers away, hear me out!! We spent 2 night at each of the hotels: - the Adriatic Beach is all inclusive option, you don't have that here, which I don't mind. But I must say the endless mohitos at the Adriatic Beach were a true highlight - food is 80% the same in both hotels. I liked the dinner options in TUI Makarska much better, but desserts were better in Adriatic Beach. Muuuch nicer view and position of the restaurant in TUI Makarska. The Adriatic Beach one is high up since the hotel is huge - our room in TUI Makarska had a great sea view, but the closet right at the enterence door was terribly placed and what is the deal with the shower and toilet separated from the wash hand basin by a swinging door? Not clear on that one. Anyway, the room at Adriatic beach was much more practical. - the guests at the Adriatic Beach were younger and the party kind, but it wasn't rowdy at the pool at all, just nice fun, good music and plenty of drinking. The guests at TUI Makarska were much older and looking for calm vacation. Both hotels are of course Adults-Only! - the pool at the Adriatic beach is huge and I loved itand there is a jacuzzi by the main pool. There are two completely separated smaller pools a TUI Makarska which are ok but kind of a let down compared. The beach though is much better in Igrane at TUI Makarska. The pebbles at Adriatic Beach were sharp as hell. Also at Adriatic beach you have to be early to reserve good pool chairs, but at TUI Makarska there were always some free ones (probably because half of the guest prefered the beach) - little bits I noticed and appreciated as well: the welcome drink at TUI Makarska was a nice touch; we LOVED the movie night by the pool in TUI Makarska; the pool staff in Adriatic beach are extra cool.

All in all, nothing special we didn't like. But the overall vacation experience was just a bit better at Adriatic Beach. But would come back here again :)

Breakfast was great, good selection of everything, hotel was very clean in general and staff super helpful. We enjoyed some live music and a number of activities that were laid on by the hotel.

We stayed half board, the evening meal was a little disapointing, the starters and deserts were good, some of the meat dishes were a little dry / overcooked. Beach sunbeds had a charge for guests which put us off using the beach access directly at the hotel. such a shame. Our balcony had 3 birds nests and bird droppings all over the floor which wasnt cleaned at all during our stay so we couldnt use the balcony area.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff was amazing. The food was okay. A lot of fun activities that were organized, especially the movie night in the open sky.

Not good/expected value for money: - Unstable internet connection - 5€ parking per day - not all sun beds were free of charge - additional charge for drinks during dinner time (even water which is overpriced) - although adults only hotel it does not have private beach so you can expect to see children around unless you are at the pool all the time

Excellent and peaceful surroundings and beach. Exceptional food for breakfast and dinner, a wide variety of choices, and all delicious. Beautiful lounge, calming music throughout all the facilities.

Live music every day until 10:30 pm is a problem since the stage area is right under the balconies of the rooms. I'd suggest making it until 9 pm or educating the performers that sound volume settings do not have to be so high up for such a small and walls-surrounded area.

If you are looking for a quiet break, Adults only hotel located in a quiet fishing village, right on the beach, this is perfect. The hotel has a spa, gym and sauna and provides pool towels to use in the hotel and on the beach (sun beds on the beach cost €15 for 2 beds and an umbrella) Would recommend bed and breakfast option, which gives you the opportunity to eat out in the local restaurants where the fish is fresh and at a good price. Breakfast is good, lots of choice from cooked to continental and a choice of tea/coffee and juices. There is a local bus to Makarska or taxi options, which I found expensive. If you like walking you can walk to the nearby village, along the coast or hire bikes together around.

The Air Conditioning in the room was poor. The room was at 24 degrees most of the time, making it very stuffy all the time. The bathroom door is a cowboy style swing door, which doesn’t leave much privacy when using the bathroom.

(ẓ̌ao nam sto nismo uspjeli se sjetiti jos imena osoba koji čine ovaj divni tim) Zahvaljujemo i cijelom timu u kuhinji na ukusnim i raznovrsnim jelima, vrijednim sobaricama koje su se pobrinule da sve bude besprijekorno, animatorskom timu – Teresi i Pablu – koji su unijeli dodatnu radost i energiju, te svim konobarima u restoranu i barovima koji su nas uvijek usluživali s osmijehom i pažnjom. Hvala i na pažljivo odabranim poklonima – dodatna gesta koja nas je iskreno obradovala i još jednom pokazala koliko cijenite svoje goste. Zahvalni smo što ste i ovaj naš odmor učinili posebnim, i što smo ga – kao i uvijek – povjerili upravo vama. Stayed four nights and loved every minute. It's a beautiful setting with a great beach area and a choice of an infinity pool and a regular pool. Igrane is a quiet little town, but there are several restaurants on the town promenade right around the corner. Breakfast options were plentiful, with seating looking out onto the sea. Our visit was made very special by the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Special kudos to Ivana, Greta and Jelena up front and Ivan and Claudio at the Culanarium restaurant on premises. Please don't hesitate to book this hotel. You will not regret it. Make sure you say hi to the up front ladies for us!

Nothing negative to report.

Location was good. We went into Igrane for dinner each night. It was nice to have the option of pool or beach each day. We took a taxi into Makarsa for the day and enjoyed walking around.

It would have been nice if there were a few more vegan options. Oatmeal could have been cooked with water rather than milk for example. A few things to spread on bread that didn't have milk would have been nice - peanut butter for example. I did like the pastries with potato and the spinach patties - very tasty.

Nice, adults only:)! hotel and staff with wide range of food both for breakfast and dinner in a small village however with some shops and restaurants. Game room, books, gym, trainer led exercise opportunities, live music in the evening and wide range of excursions to select from to make you busy if interested.

Nothing outstnading, however I would like to give a constructive feedback for future consideration as my personal preference: a traditional door instead a swing one for the bathroom; parking was provided, but it was guaranteed, that the neighbor car door would hit your car; some space left open on the beach for those rather using own blanket instead of the sunbeds; mustard to be automatically available for the sausages (for occasional requests it was provided); wellness could include jacuzzi or massage pool beside having a finish sauna; would have been good if both running bench worked in the gym, as the remaining one also had some issues (touchpad, buttons haven't reacted properly and even totally stopped once with an error message, so couldn't train on the specific day as planned).

This hotel is definitely one of the most beautiful and best organised places that I visited in Croatian Adriatic. Very nice and functional architecture, lots of activities. The food is excellent and staff is really nice and helpful. This was also my first time in "adults only" hotel and I may say it was new experience of total relax. I would like to come again any time.

It is physically possible that people from outside the hotel come to the hotel beach, so there were groups of families with children there every day. Some interior solutions in the room are strange and not practical - the sink is outside the bathroom and the bathroom has strange doors as in cowboy salloon, that do not close very well.
