If you were every trying to decide between going to the TUI Blue Adriatic Beach and this one which is just a few kilometers away, hear me out!! We spent 2 night at each of the hotels: - the Adriatic Beach is all inclusive option, you don't have that here, which I don't mind. But I must say the endless mohitos at the Adriatic Beach were a true highlight - food is 80% the same in both hotels. I liked the dinner options in TUI Makarska much better, but desserts were better in Adriatic Beach. Muuuch nicer view and position of the restaurant in TUI Makarska. The Adriatic Beach one is high up since the hotel is huge - our room in TUI Makarska had a great sea view, but the closet right at the enterence door was terribly placed and what is the deal with the shower and toilet separated from the wash hand basin by a swinging door? Not clear on that one. Anyway, the room at Adriatic beach was much more practical. - the guests at the Adriatic Beach were younger and the party kind, but it wasn't rowdy at the pool at all, just nice fun, good music and plenty of drinking. The guests at TUI Makarska were much older and looking for calm vacation. Both hotels are of course Adults-Only! - the pool at the Adriatic beach is huge and I loved itand there is a jacuzzi by the main pool. There are two completely separated smaller pools a TUI Makarska which are ok but kind of a let down compared. The beach though is much better in Igrane at TUI Makarska. The pebbles at Adriatic Beach were sharp as hell. Also at Adriatic beach you have to be early to reserve good pool chairs, but at TUI Makarska there were always some free ones (probably because half of the guest prefered the beach) - little bits I noticed and appreciated as well: the welcome drink at TUI Makarska was a nice touch; we LOVED the movie night by the pool in TUI Makarska; the pool staff in Adriatic beach are extra cool.

All in all, nothing special we didn't like. But the overall vacation experience was just a bit better at Adriatic Beach. But would come back here again :)

The perfect breakfast, it has so many options for people, lactose intolerant or gluten free or just regular breakfast. Also incredible dinner buffer, everyday had so many options, it made me super happy every night. The beaches and Igrane are super cute and relaxing compared to other turistic places in Croatia. I liked the gym in the hotel as well as the sauna and spa that they have. The pools that the hotel has are also great, I also recommend eating sometimes lunch in the restaurant next to the pool, it may look fancy but is very affordable and tasty compared to the other restaurants in the town.

I feel the hotel needs to update their TVs, they are old and you can only watch cable TV. The hotel would really be perfect if they had TVs with chromecast or a smart tv that lets me watch what I want and not just 27 cable channels. It was a bit annoying coming back from a warm day and just wanted to watch a movie and relax but be limited by this.

Breakfast was great, good selection of everything, hotel was very clean in general and staff super helpful. We enjoyed some live music and a number of activities that were laid on by the hotel.

We stayed half board, the evening meal was a little disapointing, the starters and deserts were good, some of the meat dishes were a little dry / overcooked. Beach sunbeds had a charge for guests which put us off using the beach access directly at the hotel. such a shame. Our balcony had 3 birds nests and bird droppings all over the floor which wasnt cleaned at all during our stay so we couldnt use the balcony area.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff was amazing. The food was okay. A lot of fun activities that were organized, especially the movie night in the open sky.

Not good/expected value for money: - Unstable internet connection - 5€ parking per day - not all sun beds were free of charge - additional charge for drinks during dinner time (even water which is overpriced) - although adults only hotel it does not have private beach so you can expect to see children around unless you are at the pool all the time

Breakfast was amazing; the view was breathtaking and doorman Ivan was the best. Dinner was also amazing with a lot of varieties of food (vegeterian options also). Other facilities such as spa, outdoor pool and gym are also on point and really good.

Parking fee 7€ per day is just way too much given the price of stay was already high enough. I would be good with a 7€ price per day if there would be a closed garage but in reality it's just an open parking space with zero shade.

It was crowded, and there was still parking available. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were activities hosted by the hotel (quiz night, music night, sports classes). Game room and outside ping-pong table. Beautiful view from the room.

The WiFi in the room was unusable, just like the TV in the room. The bed mattress was good on one side (queen bed), but very soft on the other side. The food selection wasn't good every day (half board). In the inner restaurant, the food selection is not huge, and not every meal reached our expectations. Sun umbrellas on the beach are only available at an extra cost.

Our stay was absolutely perfect: we had a spacious room with good airconditioning, that kept the room cool even when it was more than 35 degrees outside. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the people working the parking, the receptionists, and the staff working at the restaurants and bars. They made sure we were very well taken care off. The hotel has 2 pools with plenty of sunbeds, and additionally offers the option to rent a 'Bali bed' for the day. The hotel is next to the beach, so you can easily walk from your room to the sea. The breakfast buffet has a very large choice, and we especially appreciated the many healthy options (overnight oats, granola, yoghurt, fresh fruit...) next to the more standard options (french toast, crêpes, bread, cheeses, cold meat, ...). The dinner buffet is extensive, and changes every day. There is a representative from TUI excursions present in the lobby every day, so you can easily book excursions through them. The town where the hotel is located is small, but has several restaurants. It is much calmer than the very busy Makarska. Having a car is useful, if you want to travel around on your own.

Excellent and peaceful surroundings and beach. Exceptional food for breakfast and dinner, a wide variety of choices, and all delicious. Beautiful lounge, calming music throughout all the facilities.

Live music every day until 10:30 pm is a problem since the stage area is right under the balconies of the rooms. I'd suggest making it until 9 pm or educating the performers that sound volume settings do not have to be so high up for such a small and walls-surrounded area.

If you are looking for a quiet break, Adults only hotel located in a quiet fishing village, right on the beach, this is perfect. The hotel has a spa, gym and sauna and provides pool towels to use in the hotel and on the beach (sun beds on the beach cost €15 for 2 beds and an umbrella) Would recommend bed and breakfast option, which gives you the opportunity to eat out in the local restaurants where the fish is fresh and at a good price. Breakfast is good, lots of choice from cooked to continental and a choice of tea/coffee and juices. There is a local bus to Makarska or taxi options, which I found expensive. If you like walking you can walk to the nearby village, along the coast or hire bikes together around.

The Air Conditioning in the room was poor. The room was at 24 degrees most of the time, making it very stuffy all the time. The bathroom door is a cowboy style swing door, which doesn’t leave much privacy when using the bathroom.

(ẓ̌ao nam sto nismo uspjeli se sjetiti jos imena osoba koji čine ovaj divni tim) Zahvaljujemo i cijelom timu u kuhinji na ukusnim i raznovrsnim jelima, vrijednim sobaricama koje su se pobrinule da sve bude besprijekorno, animatorskom timu – Teresi i Pablu – koji su unijeli dodatnu radost i energiju, te svim konobarima u restoranu i barovima koji su nas uvijek usluživali s osmijehom i pažnjom. Hvala i na pažljivo odabranim poklonima – dodatna gesta koja nas je iskreno obradovala i još jednom pokazala koliko cijenite svoje goste. Zahvalni smo što ste i ovaj naš odmor učinili posebnim, i što smo ga – kao i uvijek – povjerili upravo vama.
